Unfortunately, when I arrived, Carson was heading out for a break, so I had the displeasure of working with Langston at the front desk. Langston told me that Carson had given me the incorrect quote over the phone, which was fine; I just said I would go elsewhere for cheaper. When I told him this, he responded that his prices are the way they are because he uses quality parts. I asked him if the part would be aftermarket, and he said "it's Japanese." That didn't answer my question, so I asked him if the brand was Denso, and he said "yes, that's Japanese, right?" Aside from my interaction with him, I saw Langston being rude and giving attitude to my guy Carson after he came back from his break for no reason at all. I ended up going elsewhere to get the job done with the same Denso part for $100 less (close to the original quote that Carson gave me). Moral of the story is that I don't trust Langston, and I certainly don't like how he was treating Carson. Maybe he was having a bad day, but his attitude today was enough to make me question coming back here in the future (which is unfortunate because everyone else here is really kind and patient). My concern remains that intake-related components were accessed during the service even though I only authorized an oil change. I requested clarification regarding the work performed and the basis for the claim denial. I encourage customers to carefully review their vehicles after service and retain all documentation should any issues arise. This experience resulted in significant inconvenience, unexpected repair expenses, and a lengthy claims process.

They noticed my hybrid battery cooling fan was missing after I told them I just had it "replaced" at another shop. That's the kind of information you don't usually get from a repair shop. They ended up not needing to drop the subframe, so they adjusted the labor instead of charging me for work they didn't have to do. It still took the amount of time they said it was going to take, but still discounted me a little bit which I thought was cool. I also had them do an oil change while it was there, and even that was less expensive than what I normally pay at places like Jiffy Lube or Valvoline. If you own a Prius or any hybrid, I'd definitely recommend checking them out. More than anything, I left feeling like they genuinely know these cars and took the time to educate me, not just fix it. I'm so thankful ChatGPT directed me to Tire Outlet. The moment I pulled into the parking lot, I was greeted with smiles and employees who were eager to help. The manager personally took care of me, and from the very beginning, everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The speed of service really impressed me. About a year ago, I brought my car to a different tire shop in Fullerton for another leaky tire and ended up waiting 2 1/2 hours before anyone even looked at my car. Today's experience couldn't have been more different. While I relaxed in Tire Outlet's clean, comfortable waiting lounge and got some work done on my laptop, they had everything taken care of in about 15 minutes. Then came the biggest surprise of all. They told me my tire didn't need to be replaced after all--they were able to fix it easily by hand. And when I went to pay, they insisted on not charging me anything. I was about two hours from home, and ended up with a hole in my tire that needed fixing before I could drive back. They told me to arrive by 6:30 p.m. since they closed at 7, and I got there just in time. While the actual replacement process was smooth and the tires look fine, I only found out from the paperwork afterward that they were supposedly "balanced". Unfortunately, the car hasn't been driving right since. The steering feels off, it's jerky, and turns are more difficult than they should be. Clearly, something is wrong with the balancing or the installation. I'm concerned that because I arrived so close to closing time, the job may have been rushed. If they can't do a thorough job that late in the day, they really should stop taking new customers earlier rather than rushing through the work. In short, while the staff was accommodating in terms of timing, the end result was that my car doesn't drive properly now. For that reason, I wouldn't go back.

When I questioned why I see that it's recommended online he says that dealers will recommend this service all day but if you check the Toyota maintenance manual it says you don't need it. Man! It's a bit more expensive for an oil change than other places that have quoted me, but I like that they use factory parts including Toyota oil filters. Stay tuned.... 6/29/26 - Brought my Sienna in for an oil change + complimentary 30-point inspection (since it was my first time there). Jared took the van for a spin, brought it back and lifted it up. They found a little oil seepage coming out of the transfer case. I let them know that I did see a transfer case drain/fill on the CarFax report before I bought it. Jared thinks they just didn't torque it properly so they were going to retorque and clean up around the area and keep an eye on it. Worst case scenario, they would need to order a new drain plug gasket and I'd have to come back to get it replaced. Thankfully, the drain plug just needed to get tightened. I was in and out in almost exactly an hour just as Robert promised. Thanks The Toy Shop team!! Pro Tip: they are booked out at least a week in advanced so make your appointment ASAP!

over charged Don't go went there to get a normal oil change for $30, and of course walked out over paying for a normal oil change for about $60. I read the contract about what i was paying for, what was included in the cost, which was supposed to be a slight cleaning of the car and checking wires as well as other stuff they didn't do. Discount tire and many other tire companies use a separate company named FixGo, which I used to purchase and schedule a tire install. My step dad goes in and the person at the counter is giving him a really hard time saying there is no order, and he didnt order the tire through them so they can't help him. Only to eat his own words later saying, oh it's in the system. Don't go to this location, they hire people of low IQ here for sure.

I set up an appointment to get something checked on my car because of an odd sound I was hearing…read more When I arrived, they were very nice, listened to everything I described and took time to look at it. At one point they came over to the waiting area to update me and said what they thought it was but that they were still checking. In the end, they removed a plastic cover over the back of the wheel that wouldn't effect it workings of the wheel when removed. I drove it home and had no issues. Since they considered it just an inspection, they didn't charge me. It was very kind of them since they spent roughly an hour trying to see what my car needed. They were fair and friendly. I mostly worked with Juan. He was great! Appreciate their helpfulness!
