These guys are AMAZING- I've done my last 2 inspections there!!! As well has have my oil changed. It's conveniently located close to where I live. They are very respectful and wear masks for inspections. You dont even have to get out of your car. There were 2 cars in front of me - I had to wait about 10 mins and then POOF I was in and out in less than 10 mins. D. Baily did a bang-up job for me - and even checked and aired up my tires for free!! I would have happily paid a small fee for this service, since its hard to find a station with a working air pump now days... In this day when you are hard pressed to find any kind of friendly customer service - these guys exceed all expectations by delivering EXCELLENT Customer Service. I am a widow and get very afraid of mechanics, because I have been taken before... But I cant say enough about Jiffy Lube W Anderson lane! The service here is exceptional. This is truly the BEST Jiffy Lube in Austin! They never seem to AMAZE me. I had an issue with another JF. Came to Scott at Anderson Lane ( although very busy) said dont you worry we will take care of you. And Boy they did! Michael the General Manager listened to my issue and immediately helped me. Michael, Scott and David identify problems and took care of them. They want me to come back in 2 weeks to make sure problem is all is well. They care and listen and know what customer service means. i usually never write reviews. and i thought i should be quiet about it but i can't be quiet about it anymore. but this need to change. i went in to get a oil change to find some older gentleman. i couldn't see him name properly but i think it was like alan or albert? but none the less. he treats his employees like shit. yelling at them degrading them. tell them very loudly "shut the fuck up" and i can see how stress and hurt all the employees are when he yells at them. even managers. i can tell they are all try so hard. please get a new manager. he shouldn't be working anywhere if he going to treat his employees like that. i will not be coming back until i see a change in this. I pulled up, waited 5 minutes while he was on a call, he would not make eye contact or acknowledge me, 2 more cars pull behind me, 2 other guys are working on 1 vehicle. he gets off phone glances and walks away sending over a young guy. i explained I needed an inspection he says he has to chec if he's available. speaks to same "manager" comes back and says no, he's at lunch. it is 10:30 in the morning! I agree with another reviewer who said they never thought they would be reviewing a Jiffy Lube, but here I am too. I spent a decent amount of my day at this location yesterday getting my and my husband's car inspected (there was a fairly long wait time, and I also brought the wrong insurance card on my first trip) and the service was friendly. The five stars are really for the state inspector who helped me out by giving me a heads up that my car would fail because my windshield tinting was too long, so he spared me the extra wait and hassle of actually failing me and told me how I could fix it and come back for a full inspection. I just moved here from NC, so I figured there would be some odd state-specific qualifications my car might not meet, and the inspector was so friendly and helpful in telling me what to fix. This is the absolute worst Jiffy Lube on the planet! I just took my suv there for a simple oil change and within 24 hours my vehicle was broken down on the side of the road because there was so much oil all over the engine it was shocking! My car looked like it was about to explode into flames there was so much smoke consuming the entire suv!! read more

Excellent jiffy lube! Yeah they have had problems over the years, but you have to hand it to them, they keep trying to get it right. I've used this facility since 1998. On average I've had to maintain 4-6 vehicles maintenance and I rely on them helping me keep track. With that many vehicles it's important to not change oil before it is due, that is a waste of money. Yesterday I went in to change oil in a car before a trip. After waiting in line for 15-20 minutes, it was my turn. I was told that I didn't need an oil change yet. There was still 3,000 miles use age left on the current flush. They could have just changed my oil and taken my money but they didn't. I left happy. Long story short, my spouse hates having the stickers on the windshield and always removes them. So I lose track. I thank them for their honesty and will continue to use this shop! read more

They tried to tell me that they didn't have a synthetic blend, but I could see the container of it right next to my car. They wanted to charge me over $115 for an oil change which is ridiculous. I don't usually go to this Jiffy Lube, but the system was down at the Jiffy Lube I usually go to (on Guadeloupe). I told them I usually pay $69 dollars for an oil change. I had a coupon for $20, but they said they could only take $15 which makes no sense since it's a valid coupon. Overall, I would not go here. The customer service was not good and they lied about what kind of oil I needed in an effort to over charge. read more

I had an appointment at another auto shop near by (rhymes with wirestone..) and this is the third time I've showed up and was told they overbooked and I needed to come back in a few days or leave my truck over night. Thankful I called Jiffy Lube. They got me in quickly, fixed the issue efficiently, and for a fraction of the price of "Wire Stone". David couldn't have been more friendly. A couple times they've helped me out, just putting air in my tires. I've been going there for most of my oil changes for years now. They definitely extended the life of my last car after I got a bad oil change somewhere else. I've been coming back to this Jiffy Lube ever since. The location is good if you want to step away for a bit while they work too. They're right between a Chase Bank and a Whataburger, and there's a CVS just across Anderson. I usually come here and the service is great but this time around the crew seemed kinda rude, I pulled up and asked about pricing for an oil change and the guy said "starts at 40 goes up to 108 if u want something cheaper go down the street. " then they didn't have the oil my car asked for so I had to upgrade to the higher priced synthetic not a problem by any means but they really acted like I couldn't afford they're services. Dishonest Service. My daughter got an inspection and oil change at this Jiffy Lube location in early March 2019. She has a 2010 Honda Civic. After the service they did not bother to tell her that they had stripped the threads on the oil drain plug and installed a rubber gasket toggle bolt to try and fix the damage done. Three week later I had to take her car in for service because the low oil light came on, also the check engine light, and the engine was running rough. The engine was out of oil and a rocker arm actuator had seized. This shop replaced the oil pan, which was required to fix the stripped drain plug, and got the car running again. On the shop ticket they wrote "Another shop 'rigged' some sort of oil pan drain plug to try and fix the damage done to the oil pan during an oil change. This is not at all a normal or industry standard fix for this type of issue. Oil was leaking heavily." The damage done from their $70 signature service cost me $750 including parts and labor to fix it. Not doing the right thing, or at least notifying us of the damage, nearly ruined the engine. read more

The JL guy would not give me the discount and he claimed they never did. I have never been back. I was recommended a transmissions flush for my Honda Accord by the manager on duty, Alfred D., and without thinking much, because I trusted their computer system and 'expertise', I accepted. This concerns me because on your website you say that you recommend services based on the owners manual, and I trust your service because of the expertise pledge on the back of the receipt. Though in the Honda owners site in the lube section it says: "Transmission Flushing -- If a vehicle is properly maintained, there is absolutely no benefit to flushing the transmission as a maintenance procedure. Use of additives, solvents, cleansers, or conditioners as part of a flush, or as a system enhancer, are not recommended or warranted by Honda, as they may adversely affect transmission durability, performance, and shift quality." http://m.owners.honda.com/faqs/general That is pretty predatory to be recommending a service like this at all. Alfred, of course, was totally unaware of this recommendation from Honda. Even after I read the quote from the website to him, he used the term flush to describe the service and that is pretty messed up and scary. At the bare minimum, I'd like to get some sort of assurance that this will not happen to more unknowing car owners, and it would be cool if you could refund me and the cost of getting my transmission cleaned by the Honda dealership. Please let me know if you can rectify this situation Heartland Automotive! The staff was courteous and got me out of there fast, and I have no reason to believe my oil change wasn't 10/10. Came here a couple of days ago, needing an oil change for a couple of weeks. I had gone to a Jiffy Lube that was nearby for the last time and I was sort of put off by the guy trying to sell me things that I didn't need. I am the only person there and the guys working there are super sweet. They greeted me with a smile, opened the door for me, offered me coffee, and kept me updated on the status of my car. They didn't try to sell me anything, and replaced the cabin filter for me that I had purchased at Auto Zone. They were nice and quick and with the special for the day the price was reasonable. The oil change includes them washing all the bird poop off my windshield and toping off all my fluids. I feel like I def got my moneys worth going there when they are running the $10 off special. Today I went to this Jiffy Lube to do my car inspection and get an oil change. And I received the kind of service that makes me never want to go there again, even if it is 5 minutes from my apartment. First: When they gave a quote for the oil change and for new wiper blades (which it turned out I needed), they did not include the price of the inspection, even though I had told them up front I needed to get an inspection. So my total was magically $38 more than expected. Second: The technician called my car a "piece of crap" while I was in earshot. I know I drive a 14-year-old car with a paint job that is dying from Texas sun, a bum air conditioner, and no power anything. I'm not stupid, and if I had the money for something nicer, I would get something nicer. But I don't. And honestly, my car may be low-tech and old, but it runs great and it gets me where I need to go. So if you talk shit about my vehicle when I can hear you, you're not getting my business again. read more
