All in all, I had a horrible experience with the regional manager (making promises he couldn't fulfill and lying about work done). The staff were all friendly, but there is no protocol for measuring/recording various things for a safety check (I went to another Jiffy Lube location the day after and got totally different measurements). These guys are great. The service they deliver is detail oriented and through. The service staff are friendly and the waiting room is clean and had the football game on tv. They checked the tire pressure and vacuumed my car. These guys run a tight ship; good for oil changes for sure. read more

Absolutely horrible ! the "mechanic" left his phone in my car during an oil change. I let that slide by, called them and he came by picked it up. Then after a Break job a few weeks later i heard a dling dling noise. Went by the shop to find out he had left a tool hanging inside my car behind the wheel. After that i heard another rattling noise from my front suspension. Went in and i was told it was the "Stabilizer bar going bad" !! All right, went in a different shop a mile away. They put the car up on the jack and showed me the Jiffy lube "mechanic" had forgotten to tighten the break calipers bolts. You could hand tighten the bolt by hand. I could have been killed if the breaks had failed. DO NOT GO in this shop as it is a kids playing area. Not a serious business. Sorry business owner, i stated the facts !! read more

I when into my local jiffy lube with my 3 daughters, while i was waiting in the lobby to fill out paperwork for an oil change, i was on the phone with my daughters doctor and the representative name "Levi" that was going to help me calls out to me by saying "Hey Mamacita" since i was on the phone i thought i probably mis-understood him. But when we left my 17 year old daughter says to me, (mom did you hear what that guy said to you) That is very un-professional... not to mention inappropriate. Not only that was a bad experience but the other employees that were there were not even in uniform, they were skateboarding in and out of the place. What a HORRIBLE experience... I always go to Jiffy Lube because of their free top off policy. Second time at this location. And it came nowhere near Jiffy. No one was working with and sense of urgency. More important to joke around with each other and check on smart phones then to get my car done. Waited 20 min before making an inquiry about when they thought my car would B done. I was told they has not started yet (duh) and that they would B happy to close my hood so I could leave. WTF? I did and went to the Jiffy Lube on Stevens Creek across street from DSW and was outta there in 20 minutes with professional level service and employees that were actually moving with a purpose Stay away from the Camden by Hwy 17 location especially if you don't have lots of time and don't mind being helped by people who don't seem to give a sh*t about you as a customer. read more

Went in for a quick oil change. When I left my car was making a lot of noise. Noticed that the RPM was really high, so I stopped and checked my car. To my dismay all of the cables that were checked and unplugged during the oil change were left unconnected. When I call with regards this matter the manager was extremely rude. I was so overwhelmed and upset that I actually wrote a letter to corporate. I was sent a coupon for a free oil change, no thanks! I would never take my car back there again. Pretty good. $39 for 4 1/2 quarts of regular oil and a filter. The job took about 20 minutes on a Saturday morning. The staff was friendly, highly efficient, and relatively easy to deal with. The upsell was light and not too pushy. If you don't know cars then I guess you could have an anxiety attack when they run down the list of "concerns". They have a gimmick where they remove your air filter and slap it down on the counter while you are signing the work order. You're supposed to be so disgusted and opt to pay for a new one since, hey, it's already out. If you are smart, you will have bought a new filter from Autozone for half the price and be ready to give it to them when they pull this trick. Not like they can insist on reinstalling the dirty one. And if they do, just snatch it off the counter and throw it across the street! Ha ha! It sucks that Melissa P. had a more stereotypical Jiffy Lube experience, but if I had just bought a new car I would probably have it maintained by someone I trust more than the McDonalds equivalent of an auto shop. read more

I arrived at this Jiffy Lube on the corner of Camden and Hillsdale last week. There were no other customers. I pulled my car out, got out and went to the office to get checked in where no one was there to greet me. A worker came in later and told me it would be ten minutes before they could check me in. I took this as a bad omen and walked out telling myself that it is a very bad sign that there are no other customers waiting and that they wanted me to wait because they were busy? Trust your instincts and try another location. read more

I've discovered after it happened to me that Jiffy Lube has a reputation of selling you stuff and failing to install it. For me it was an air filter. I know at least to places, one a car dealership, that confirmed that they have a history of this rip off. read more

Not Happy! I went in to have them check my A/C and sure enough it needed the cooling fluid. Sal, the manager took it in right away and started to fill it up. He told me he was out of the dye, which detects leaks, but he will fill it up and i can come back NO CHARGE for the dye. I've been back 3 times since then and NO MANAGER ON SITE, meaning no one else is able to assist me. I talked to the same dude each time.. You think he would let Sal know that i came back twice since and maybe he could give me a call and let me know when i can come in?? I tried the other Jiffy lube on Hillsdale, and that manager waved me away saying "no he can't help me" LOL!! i already paid over $100 for this service. I either am going to ask for a refund or a free oil change. I may consider editing this review if they follow through! but, in the meantime i have to take it elsewhere since it's close to 100 degrees this week! :/ read more

I will never go to this location again! These guys are so unprofessional! I have been here at least a dozen times. Getting my oil changed on my work truck. My company has a fleet card that is honored at Jiffy lube. This location is convenient for me on my way home. Every visit to this location is met with rolled eyes when I show my fleet card. The staff suddenly goes into slow mode and act like their not going to get paid for this service. They wouldn't put up the window sticker to remind me of my next oil change. I asked and was told they left it on my seat. And it wasn't there. My last visit was this week. I told them upon arrival that I had a fleet card. After the service was done, the tech came in and told me the fleet card was no good and I was going to have to pay for it myself. Now i don't have an issue with paying for the service myself and getting reimbursed. The fact is the techs are supposed to get online with the fleet card people and get approval for ANY service before the start work. I asked that when the tech came and told me I had to pay. He just shrugged his shoulders and said " were already done and your going to have to pay....". Like a real punk. read more

I went in because I could not get the damaged/rusted screws out that kept my old license plate in. It is not the typical fix for jiffy lube given they specialize in oil change but they fixed it right away and used some heavy duty vice grips to get the screw out. Took literally 2min and they didn't even charge me. Awesome! I'm new to the area and definitely going back for an oil change. read more

I go to this Jiffy Lube cause they answer many of my questions about my car that are not related to an oil change. I go in there even when I don't need an oil change and ask questions. They have never been rude or tried to brush me off. The one on Hamilton is good to. They tried the upsell in the beginning but now that I am a regular customer, our business transactions are smooth. They take the coupons I've printed out from the web too. They haven't messed up my car. read more

This place really sucks. The crew is horrible and very lousy including the manager. They really don't care about customers and their time. I went there for oil top off since I have changed my oil a month ago and they said they can't do it and you need to pay for full service. Unbelievable !! Also I asked them to change my wiper blades and they did not do it. They park my car outside and never bother or call me to come and pick it up as they promise they will do. Yesterday I was very warmly greeted by Julian, who immediately took my car into the shop. DJ completed the oil change very quickly, and he topped off the coolant and re-set the "Change Oil" dashboard light that was often missed in the past at other shops. BUYER BEWARE - Jiffy Lube Camden will perform services you dont need, and charge exorbitant fees. Charged me and my 17 year old daughter $90 for a gallon of antifreeze!! Each Jiffy Lube location is obviously franchise owned. We have had nothing but great experiences with the San Jose Jiffy Lube. However we have now learned a lesson and will NEVER use the Camden Avenue Jiffy Lube again. HOLD ON TO YOUR WALLET WHEN YOU ENTER. Unfortunately, the Jiffy Lube at 1387 Camden Avenue in Campbell likes to prey on young women and new drivers. My daughter and I took her VW Bug to the 1387 Camden JiffyLube. As a new driver, our daughter is learning about car maintenance. Our fault - we thought Jiffy Lube Camden would be honest, and provide a good experience as she learned how to be responsible and look after her car. You know, show her how to fish type thing. Everything started out good, kind of. I asked to have an oil change with synthetic oil. $99.99 seemed a bit high for 4 quarts, though I obviously didn't know better. We approved it. They then said her radiator coolant level was a little low, and instead of topping it off like SpeeDee or the Jiffy Lube in San Jose - Camden Jiffy was insistent that she would also require a complete radiator flush, @ another $90. Yep, 1 gallon of Antifreeze was $89.99. It doesnt stop here though. When I went back to talk with the manager, Sal, he said he agreed with the overcharge, but that Jiffy Lube would be liable by LAW if they didnt do a Radiator flush and complete service. This is BS. Not only did we not need the unnecessary $90 radiator service - only 2 cups of water or top off would have sufficed with a honest business, they then had the nerve to say it was a law that they had to do the radiator flush. Jiffy Lube as a company has a stellar reputation, high quality products, and a professional operation. I think somehow the franchise owner at 1387 Camden in Campbell missed the flyer on the Jiffy code of conduct. Recommendation: When you see the Jiffy sign in Campbell, honk when you keep driving buy to the oil change business down the road instead. Quick update: Discovered early this morning, a loud scraping when going over speed bumps. Seems the Jiffy tech forget to reinstall the screws holding the under cowling on. Took it in to share, and the tech quickly located the clips and put in back in position. NOTE: I originally had my husband post this review, though Yelp took it down as 3rd person. 2008 F150 air condoning repaired. This included recharging the system and replacing a blend motor actuator behind the dash. This was accurately diagnosed and repaired in a friendly manner at a reasonable cost. The surprising thing was the high degree of competency and friendly atmosphere provided by Sal Vong, and Jose Paxarin. I worked as a mechanic at a dealership in my younger days and in my opinion Sal is an excellent technician. This Jiffy lube is fortunate to have him. What a great find, and at a Jiffy lube none the less! read more

This is the worst jiffy lube I've ever been too. They are inattentive and incredibly slow. This is the second time I've given this location a chance, and have watched them both times just wander around with zero sense of urgency. They also do not check in anyone that pulls up or acknowledge your presence. Drive the extra 10 minutes to the Hamilton location. They are great there! read more

WARNING I have been taking my car to jiffy lube on camden and 17 for a few years now and have always Been happy w/ there service - except this time now my oil pan is stripped and needs to be replaced and they will not take responsibility for it -they are the only ones who have been pulling that plug and tightining the heck out of it ,i was even told that they do not torque to specs. and the district MGR told me that he was able to bend the metal back into shape and currently has a plug in there that is not leaking. however who knows if it will go back in the next time it is pulled out, also told me that i wanted to pay $450.00 he would replace it for me. I've taken my vehicle here for every oil change since I bought it in 2012 and have usually had good/professional service. However, now my confidence is shaken in their professionalism. One of the tech's that was "helping" me was clearly trying to dupe me into getting extra work done that was not needed... and then also offered to do the work for cash on the side. I know this is just one experience out of several that I have had here, but it is enough for me to find a new mechanic from here on out. I do not recommend anyone take their vehicle here, and if you do, definitely do not get anything done other than a basic oil change. read more
