My husband brought his Jeep here for an oil change this weekend and it was a great experience. As soon as we pulled in a tech walked up to the car and asked my husband what service he'd like, and asked him to step out the vehicle and let him know that he'd take it from there, and we should go inside where some one else would help us. The cashier was really sweet, she greeted us as soon as we walked in a let us know she'll be with us shortly. Then she called my husband by his first name and asked what type of oil he wanted for his oil change and all that good stuff. They had a lot of variety when it came to magazines in the waiting room. My husband said there service is pretty cool here, huh. We sat there for about 15 minutes and the car was finished! I was able to find a coupon online and she honored it no questions asked. I refuse to return to this particular Jiffy Lube. I have used other Jiffy Lubes in the past and generally like them because they are usually fast and offer good service but I have had bad experiences twice at this particular Jiffy Lube. First bad experience: after getting an oil change, a few minutes later, we drove out of the area to attend a family dinner party. While on the freeway, 30 minutes into the drive, we heard a loud, scraping noise. We exited the freeway to investigate and noticed that a large piece of plastic/metal (some kind of cover) had partially fallen to the ground and was getting scrapped against the ground. We called Jiffy Lube and learned from Jiffy Lube that someone must have forgotten to re-attach the splash guard under the engine. Of course, we had to return to Jiffy Lube immediately (could not drive with that sound and presumably sparks flying everywhere on the freeway). Jiffy Lube installed another splash guard since the one which came with our car was ruined. Although they did not charge us for fixing their mistake, it was a total waste of our time to drive back to Jiffy Lube, wait for the work to be done, etc. In the end, it meant that we could not go to our family dinner party. Total waste of time and disappointment. Second bad experience: I tried not to hold the first bad experience against Jiffy Lube, thinking it could've been one mistake and mistakes happen to all of us, so I returned. After getting an oil change, I entered the freeway and less than 5 minutes after getting on the freeway, I noticed a crack had formed in the windshield. There was no crack there before! This was literally 5 or less minutes after I got on the freeway. I immediately exited the freeway and returned to Jiffy Lube, believing they must have caused the crack because that made the most sense. The woman who cleaned my windshield admitted that she did not see a crack when she was cleaning the windshield but denied causing the crack. I did a search online and apparently, it is possible to create a crack in a windshield by pressing too hard on the bottom of it (near where the wipers are installed). I was fairly certain but not 100% certain, that they caused the crack so I didn't push the issue with the workers at Jiffy Lube. Anyhow...I refuse to ever return to this particular Jiffy Lube again! read more

I am always so happy with the service I get here! Mike and Alan especially go out of their way to get their customers taken care of, even walk over and get parts needed from the auto store. Even if they take longer than they quoted you, they always keep you in the loop as to what's going on. With customer service like this, I will definitely continue to come back! read more

My husband took our car there one rainy day to get the oil changed. He brought a coupon he'd printed from the Jiffy Lube website which detailed the services he'd be receiving. The guy at the counter told him they weren't going to do all the services that day because there were only two of them in the shop. Sorry, but when we pay for something and it's supposed to be part of the written agreement, we'd better get the service. After telling the guy (and the acting manager) that he wanted to get ALL the services listed on the agreement, the guy consented. Who know if they actually did everything they were supposed to do. This isn't the first time we've had bad customer service at this location. Yeah, it's close to where we live, but we'll be going the extra mile for better service next time. read more

Just stop by at 2:05pm today (Sunday, June 5th). Craig told us that everyone took one hour lunch break therefore Jiffy Lube is closed. I asked for manager (Michael Huerta) but he's not in for that day. Is it normal that Jiffy Lube CLOSES for 1 hour lunch break? There were 3 visibly employees. Oil change was done really quickly. They took out my old air filters and showed them to me. It seemed like they just tried to hustle you out of your money as much as possible. Even showed me my transmission oil which wasn't suppose to changed for another 20k miles. read more

Hit or miss. The morning staff has always been extremely quick and professional. Not pushing the additional services too much. I went this afternoon at 415pm, and the evening staff did not meet my expectations of service I've received here in the past. Two of the staff were courteous and friendly, as I had come to expect from employees here. One of the workers was very abrasive - he denigrated another of his coworkers in front of me. He was scratching the inside of his ear with a pen. Hopefully not the pen I used. The TV was blaring Dr. Phil, which is obnoxious. I had difficulty hearing the technician over the TV. When coming in from outside, he stopped in the lobby to see what was happening with Dr. Phil before he went behind the counter and called the next guest. I was there for over 30 minutes. I guess the bottom line is it not a jiffy if you come later in the day. If you come here, come in the morning! It's fast and friendly. read more

Dont waste your time, nothing but a Lazy Ass cashier walking around being useless, same with the guys doing the oil change. Instead of tending to clients the cashier just ate chips with the techs. Don't bother. Slow and unfriendly receptionist. Mumbles at low volume. Waited to get into the stall because one of three shop people was in the restroom. I understand that, but the whole time I waited (20 minutes) the receptionist didn't do my paperwork. Only after the air filters came to her (10 more minutes) did she take my personal info. Ten more minutes and my car was driven out of the bay. I waited five more to be called, but the receptionist decided it was more important to call the guy how had just come in (didn't wait for his air filters). Five more minutes, she mumbles the car model instead of like saying, "Sir, your car is ready." There were only two customers at that time. Then I drive away and realize they failed to clear the maintenance light. Drive back and pull up to the bay where the other car was and they tell me I need to wait until they finish the other guy. I move my car and wait five more minutes to get the light reset. I have four cars; never again. +++++++++ EDIT: Geez, after posting this review I spent some time reading the first 10-12 negative reviews. There is definitely a pattern of POOR service. I was most concerned about those who posted that the oil was low or near empty. So I decided to check the level of my car. It was at least one quart high, which is NOT good for keeping oil out of the combustion chamber. High oil could get passed the cylinder rings. BAD of motor. NEVER AGAIN AT ANY JIFFY LUBE!!!!!!! +++++++++ EDIT: Checked what the oil capacity of my car is (3.7 quarts). The work order says they added 4.4 quarts. So, they added too much. Excellent service! Friendly, attentive and professional. I was greeted with a smile, they opened my door for me, escorted me into the lobby, where I was greeted warmly, and offered coffee or water, while watching the Warrior game. I was advised of my options for an oil change, pressure free, each option explained to me thoroughly. I left to visit a friend at One Bad Apple Record Store, just down the block. When I returned my car was ready, clean and waiting for me. Paid quickly and escorted back to my car where they opened the door for me and wished me a good day. Great jobs guys!!!! read more

I've been coming to this jiffy lube for several years and until today I've had good experiences. Much less so today. The person that greeted me didn't bother to say hello, handed me a clip board asking for information and walked off to start working on another car. I'm usually invited inside right away, but today waited several minutes before someone came back to invite me in. An employee complained twice about how busy they had been today and when I was driving home I noticed that one of them had transferred dirt from their pants to the upholstery on the front and back passenger seats. I've never written a review on here before, but I didn't want to hide this issue from anyone. I came in here for an oil change about 2 months ago and their customer service was actually really good, but when I took my car down to Boulevard Auto for my next oil change, they noticed that the drain plug was stripped... Not that it's a huge deal (only a couple extra dollars for a new one) but, the fact of the matter is, a simple job was botched and I will not be taking my car here anymore. I came here on a Saturday afternoon and was quickly informed there was an hour wait, so I headed back home. I came back a little before 5 pm and was in and out in about 30 minutes. The staff was quick and helpful, though I caught some flak for being a Giants fan. I don't have much experience with oil change places since I usually do it myself, but I would probably return here. 80 bucks is a lot for synthetic oil. My Ranger, however, is happy. read more

I was in the area and when I saw JL, I remembered that my car needed an oil change, so I stopped in. Cesear, the manager on duty at the time, was very helpful. He showed me all the components under the hood that I needed to be aware of. He even pointed out that the power steering fluid compartment was too full. He suggested taking some out with a rag, so it would not cause a leak later. Then he showed me the air filter and what it does and how it can be cleaned out. I was very impressed with his attention to detail when it came to my car. I spent no more than 20 minutes getting this all completed. This is the first car I've ever purchased on my own, and hopefully the last. I want to keep it in the best shape that I can. With folks around like Cesear and his crew, I know I'm in good hands. read more

Jiffy Lube looks like a typical place for a kid from high school to be working. But the fact that they bring you something thats dirty from under your hood to show you is a tacky scammy sales technique. What would my wife think, but that it looks bad!!!! It needs fixing right now!!! So instead of offering a little something extra and make you feel good, they dump a list of things on you that "you must get done" and put us through a guilt trip if something isn't perfect. They wanted to charge $100+ to change our transmission fluid. It only costs $30 for a bottle at Walmart/Kragens. They also wanted to dump on $80 for adding radiator fluid....crazy little business they got down there on the corner. I like to support local businesses but they just pushed us away with crappy service and laughable UP-SELLS. read more

Pulled into this location and it was my second time here. There were 3 vehicles ahead of mine and all were in the bays getting serviced. Went inside and the receptionist told me that I would be helped shortly as there were a couple customers in front of me being taken care of. No big deal. After waiting for ten minutes, I was informed by the receptionist that they did not have my oil filter in stock and would not be able to service my vehicle ( I drive a very common vehicle). I thought jiffy lube is in the oil change business, and I guess ordering one from the auto parts store down the street was not an option, as most places would offer to do. read more

Convenient but will not be coming back. The oil change was done quickly but the guy at the counter was certainly not "Jiffy". He had a cold, left the counter a few times to blow his nose and proceeded to hand the pen to customers that he was using. I used my own pen to avoid catching anything. I was surprised that my information was not saved from the last visit. Apparently if your last visit was more than 12 month they delete your account as assume you have sold your car. My car was done and sitting ready for me and it still took another 15 mins as he sold additional products to other customers and took phone calls.
