The staff had always been friendly and helpful, and I've recommended this shop to others in the past. During a recent visit, I was quoted around $2,200 for new tires. I wasn't comfortable with the price, which I understand is my choice and the shop's decision to set. I declined and was advised to buy tires online and have them shipped to the store for installation. When I called to confirm the tire size before ordering, since the shop still had my car, I received incorrect information. When I called again, I was given different sizes without anyone checking the car, even though it was still at the shop. I finally had to insist that someone physically look at sticker insife my vehicle to verify the correct size. I initially let this go. The tires were delivered in less than a week, but I received no notification from the store. When I called to check, I was told my tires were not there and that maybe they were delivered to a different local store "because that happens all the time." I then had to spend time contacting Tires Easy and FedEx, only to confirm the tires had in fact already been delivered to this location. The main issue was my interaction with an employee named Steven on the day of installation. I explained that I had been there a little over two weeks earlier and that the 'service due" message on the dashboard had not been cleared. Steven immediately dismissed what I was saying, replying, "Isn't the car electric? We didn't do an oil change," and spoke to me condescendingly. I also let that go for the time being, as I know this notification has been cleared before. Later that day, after receiving a text saying the tires couldn't be installed with photos that didn't clearly explain the issue, I called the store to understand what was going on. During that phone call, Steven repeatedly cut me off and spoke to me in a dismissive manner. Instead of helping problem solve or explain next steps, the call was effectively shut down. When I came back to the store to pick up my car, the same behavior continued in person. I again tried to explain the earlier tire size confusion and understand how the issue could be resolved. Steven interrupted me repeatedly, offered no guidance, and ended the conversation by stating the tires were "spare tires," without any attempt at collaboration or explanation. I was willing to overlook the earlier confusion and wasted time, but after being treated this way, it made me question the overall professionalism and communication at this location. I won't be returning. In a time when costs are high and customers have many choices, customer service plays a critical role in where people choose to do business. It's unfortunate that I have to write this. I purchased tires here two years ago and had an excellent experience; however, this time was the complete opposite. After getting four new tires, I noticed the very next day that my car was making a rumbling noise. When I brought it back, I was asked to drive the car while one of their mechanics rode in the passenger seat, but the noise didn't occur during that drive. The following day, I returned and asked for a manager to listen, since the sound persisted. He rode along, and although the noise came and went, it wasn't consistent. Instead of offering to put the car on a lift and inspect it further, my concerns were dismissed because the noise couldn't be reliably reproduced. To make matters worse, one of my hubcaps fell off, which suggests it wasn't secured properly. When I brought this up, I was told to go buy a replacement myself, and they would install it, along with offering a free oil change at a later date. That response was frustrating--why wouldn't they take responsibility and have an employee obtain the hubcap? I ended up taking my car to a trusted mechanic. Once the car was lifted, the problem was immediately visible: the control arms were not seated correctly, and one was cracked. I'm not blaming Tire Choice for the damage itself, but a more thorough inspection during the tire service could have identified something so obvious. Likewise, more attention to detail might have prevented the hubcap from coming loose. If I had ignored the noise and assumed it was nothing, the situation could have become dangerous. The store manager is extremely important here. He remembers you, your car, when he saw you last, and everyone wants to be remembered right? The person during conversation called me "honey" at least 3 times and was rude and patronizing and the hung up while I was asking follow up question. It's 2026 a woman should not be called "honey" and spoken in a dismissive way at an auto dealership. Btw I went to 76 on Castro valley blvd. They treated me with professionalism and respect and fixed it quickly for $40. I took my husband's vehicle to another shop for a service and they told me they had pulled a rivet out of a tire. Where it was it couldn't be patched it had to be replaced. Since my tires were under warranty they temp patched it so I could drive it to where the warrantee was. I took it in, and Ramon, a really nice helpful service advisor helped me out. When they told me the car was ready I went to get it but dealt with a different guy, Steven. I had already seem my husband's car and that they had not replaced the tire with the temporary patch. They had replaced the 19 year old spare as I had also requested that obviously I had to pay full price for. Since I knew they did not fix the dangerous issue I went in a little heated. I told Steven they did not replace the tire and he insisted that there was no patch. I said yes there is and he called me a liar, walked me out to the car and told me to show him where it was. I said it where Pep Bots had marked the tire. Obviously you cannot see an inside patch from the outside of the tire, thats why they marked it. He again called me a liar and claimed HE had marked the tire. I was furious and at that point was yelling. He refused to help me further told me to call corporate. He proceeded to give me the number to his tech assistance instead of the customer service. Luckily the nice older gentleman that actually does the work came and understood the problem, took off the tire and saw not only was there a patch but it was already peeling from driving the two miles on it. He had another tire ordered and when Ramon came I spoke with him. I have been coming to this location since before it was Goodyear. I have had 5 cars there for tires or services. NEVER AGAIN. I have been coming to This store for over 15 yrs. THe previous two managers , German and Darryl, were excellent and knowledgeable and had great customer service. Robert and Reuben the techs were great also. Today. I went in because my son's Camaro suffered tire failure, and Ramon took really great care of us. ON top of that, later on the longtime person there, Steven, was great... explained everything and told us to be careful of a small isssue on another tire, plus need to watch the rim deformation. Steven was excellent. And I highly recommened everytone to look for them when you come here. Honest, caring, and knowledgeable . That is why all 5 of our cars are taken care of here. I recently picked up a screw in my tire, and thought I would go back since they treated me so well the last time. The woman at the desk was extremely nice and said that it would be an hour before they could do the work, I said that I would wait. Absolutely dissatisfied with the service. I was 3rd in the line when they opened the store in the morning and contacted the employee. I advised him that I have a Groupon and I am looking for oil change, tire rotation, battery and multi point inspection and a diagnostic on visible coolant leak. His immediate reaction was I need to show him the coupon otherwise I can repeatedly come to the store for oil changes and not pay for them. I felt harassed when he said that and I am still wondering is it because I drove an old truck or maybe didn't look a certain way. The next thing he said was I do not have an appointment which was completely false. I showed him the message confirmation. I told him to check for the coolant leak below the reservoir. 6.5 hour I called to get a status and he said they didn't get to my truck. ( I was 3rd in line) 1 hour later I called again and he told me the truck is ready. I went to the front desk and was told everything was perfect with the truck. I know there is a coolant leak so how's everything perfect. There was no mention of battery status, tire or brake status and when I asked about the coolant leak, I was told to come back and setup diagnostic appointment. Next day the battery failed and the AAA guy told me your battery was failing. If Tire Choice employees would have checked, it would have saved me trouble. Overall absolutely disgusting experience, I felt his statements were motivated by some sort of discrimination and bias. Worth ethic was below standard. Never going there again. About a year and a half ago I got a full set up run flat tires from these guys. It ran me over $1600, but came with their warranty so I was ok with it. Well today I had a nail in my tire and it was flat when I came out this morning. So I call them and ask if they can help get me back on the road. I only live 2 blocks away, so I was hoping they could take the 15 minutes to get me going again. Nope. Nope and nope. So TLDR: They would be happy to honor their warranty - if I'd kindly return in a week, they would then look at my tire. Come back in a week. For a flat tire. Under warranty. Let that sink in for a second. I drove over hoping I could talk with someone and get help, and that ended up being a waste of time. So after that, I got back on Yelp and found the next closest tire shop, who fixed my flat and got me back on the road in about 10 minutes. I'm going back to buy my next set of tires from them tomorrow when they come in. I'm so glad that tire shop turned me away, now I found a place that actually cares just over in Hayward. read more

THEY WILL DAMAGE YOUR RIMS. Sales associate, Brandin, said it was totally normal to have deep gouges and scratches on your rim after they repair a flat due to how their machine clamps work. Disgraceful that the first thing he said was an excuse that they are not liable then proceeded to say that is normal and how the wheel clamps work. I have NEVER had a rim damaged like this from having a puncture plugged! Would not trust on my rims again, very poor and we have used them several times in the past. read more

I've been coming here for years and I haven't had great service and the manager was outstanding. I had an 8 AM appointment today. I got there and somehow it had changed to 9. Nobody told me I'm now the third person in line. The person before me was told that they installed the wrong sensors on his tires. That's why they weren't working. I ordered the wrong part. He was not aware of it. The manager on duty would not honor the 8 AM appointment and basically refused my service. He made the keys and told me to leave and get out. I talked to a customer in the parking lot that was on her way back because her tires are already leaking. They just got put on the place has gone to crap and the manager should not be working in customer service. Do not come to this location. SCAMMER ALERT! Watch out, these guys are crooks. My wife and I have taken our car here twice. We have a newer 2022 Mazda that we bought new and decided to go here instead of the dealership to save a few bucks. The first time we visited, my wife made the appointment, but I dropped the car off. Everything went well. I would even say 5 star good. For the second visit, my wife dropped the car off and other than needing an oil change, the car was working perfectly fine. No lights other than the oil light was on and no low battery signals. 2-3 hours after dropping the car, we get a call saying the car won't start, maybe it's the key fob. I go over with our 2nd key fob and try to start the car but there is no sign of life. They supposedly say they haven't touched the car and I ask them to do an assessment. An hour later they call my wife back and say it was only a battery issue and all they need to do is replace it. My wife knows nothing about cars, so she tells them to proceed with a new battery and hangs up. She relays this to me while we're at the barber getting my sons haircut and I and all the guys in the babershop tell her that makes no sense, we would have seen warning lights and other tell-tale signs before the battery went completely dead. Also, they would have told us 4 months ago when we visited that the battery needed replacing and the car is too new to need a battery. Either something more serious is wrong with the car or this is way too coincidental that this one issue popped up out of no where and they had the exact solution. I call them back and tell them not to do any work. I'm coming back and taking the car for a second opinion. When I get there the car magically starts and they don't know why, supposedly. I take it directly to an auto zone to test the battery and no issues. We take it to the dealership the following week to do the oil change and check the battery. NO ISSUES FOUND! I think they saw my wife and thought they would try to sneak one by her. Im guessing they probably drained the battery, recharged it, and were going to try to sell our own battery back to us. Almost two months later the same battery is still operating just fine. read more
