Poor service. Oil change took ten minutes. Getting someone inside to charge me added another 20.

Been going there for years...always a good experience. Today (Friday Nov 20 2015) I was given the wrong invoice which I didn't discover until I got back home. I tried to call the number listed on the invoice only to be disconnected after around 70 rings...they never even answered. I then went to the web and found their headquarters and called them. They connected me and I was given a bad attitude by a guy named Greg with no explanation as to why they don't answer their phone...he wouldn't answer any questions...he just kept asking me if I was coming back in...like 6 times he said it. I called the headquarters back and complained about the guy's attitude and asked if they could PDF the invoice to my email. No problem...it would be emailed on Monday. Very unprofessional. Waited forever while the guys were SCREAMING out songs at the top of their lungs while working on the cars. It was extremely annoying and so loud. Not to mention nothing "jiffy" about it. I would have preferred to wait in my car instead of the waiting room. I'm an idiot and forgot I needed a change, but I'll stick with my regular place from now on. I really hope they're paying attention and not screwing up my car, but they sound like a bunch of children yelling and carrying on and cursing. read more

Here is my experience at this location: They greeted me and were very courteous. Unfortunately their workmanship is very poor and it seems they have limited knowledge about cars. I went there for a simple oil change as the dealer had no opening. I took my filter as they did not carry it for my SUV (Audi Q7). I saw the technician fumbling to put the filter and it seemed he saw it for the first time. They never checked the windshield, coolant and transmission fluid level and the work order was checked "yes". The hell broke loose when my wife took the car next day to work and came back. The whole garage floor was full of oil and the undercarriage all splashed with oil. I don't know what they did but who ever worked on my car messed it up so bad. Someone is surely going to pay for it. I am going to take it back and see how this can be sorted out. Definitely I will be contacting the Bureau of Automotive Repair, BBB and DMV. read more

My goal was an oil change. As generally happens when a woman takes a car for service, I got several pitches for things that "had" to be done. I let him talk me into two of three. When I got in the car to leave, the check engine light was still on. They refused to reset it until everything was done. Never had this happen before. Spent $200 and still have the light on in my car. Never going back. read more

I am very disappointed with the way I was treated at this store. My only explanation for the way I was treated would be that I am a woman. I went here, about 500 miles ago, and thought everything went well. I was wrong. I was driving to Reno, after a snow storm, so mud was flying up from cars and trucks, and I go to turn on my wiper fluid. Much to my surprise, there was no fluid coming out. I originally thought, "oh, it's still frozen, maybe I'll give it more time driving". Despite not being able to see through most of the windshield, I manage to make it to a gas station, to check if there was any fluid. Much to my surprise, it was bone dry. I then decided to check my oil, to see if they actually changed it, and again, much to my surprise, there was no oil registering on the dip stick. I will be taking my complaint to corporate level, since I could have been killed by these idiots who did not do their jobs. So thank you, I will never be using this jiffy lube again, and I suggest you do the same. read more

Nothing but incompetence. After driving my car around for a day or two after getting my "oil changed and fluids topped off" I noticed that my temperature gauge was red-lining. I pull over and see the my coolant is COMPLETELY EMPTY. The real kicker is that I had been there a couple months prior to have my "oil changed and fluids topped off" which leads me to believe that the idiots working there had never put coolant in the tank despite being charged twice for it. When there was a slight problem with my car after my oil change (the air filter wasn't in tight enough & my check engine light came on), and I complained to the owner, he refunded my oil change & offered the next change free. I had gone back to the store & tried to contact him 3 times (an hour and 1/2 of my time wiht travel), but always had just missed him. I did go back at the same time each day, and realized that he worked an early morning shift and that I truely had just missed contact. So, the third time ......I left a nice note with my phone number & he called me & he was genuinely sorry about the problem. Things happen in my business, in all businesses. But the way in which the owner graciously took responsibility is why my business will return to his shop. read more

PSA: usually dealers will charge you more for everything but Jiffy Lube does a spectacular job in overcharging for oil changes. A 64.99 Synthetic Blend Oil Change at Jiffy Lube is 44.99 at the Honda Dealership. Absolutely unbelievable how much they charge for an oil change because if you are being underbid by a car dealer, you are doing something terribly wrong. read more

Excellent place to have your AC charged. Fast service, complete with demo after to show the success of the operation. Oil change comes with a window wash & vacuum of the floors. This is the first JL shop I have used that did not have a female employee. No objection; just very unusual. The prices are very competitive; this was well worth the $5 bridge toll from Benicia. read more

Really professional service. People were polite and service was prompt and done in a timely manner. A little on the pricey side, but i didnt mind because of all the extras that come with the oil change. They cleaned my windows and vacuumed the front area of my car. I recently had my oil changed at another pace and they were supposed to check all my fluids but never told me if everything was ok or not. Here they walked me through everything and even told me my tire size when i asked. All in all I recommend this place. read more

I went to get an oil change today and they didn't have an oil filter for a Chevy cruz. so I run to O'Reilly's auto parts and buy one. Then come back with only 2 cars in the bay I figure it will give me just enough time to run into Sam's club and grab a few things, the real reason why I come to this one. I get back thinking it was going to be done, but no. I checked my car in at 10:45 am and didn't get it until 12:45pm. then when I went to finally get in my car there was oil all over the door handle and I had just had it washed. I asked the guy if he could clean it off and he was so annoyed that I had asked. He gets some window spray and sprays the handle and then wipes it. doesn't say a word. No sorry, nothing. Then I start driving my car and it says I need to change the oil soon. They didn't even reset the oil indicator. Not a single sorry for a 2 hour wait. At least Yolanda was nice at the beginning and went the extra mile to tell me they didn't have the filter so I could go and get one. I like this place because in addition to the usual oil changer stuff they also rotate tires. Today they changed my oil, transmission fluid and air filter, along with the tire rotation. It is a little expensive but I got $10 off for checking in on Yelp. read more

Quick service. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Why 3 stars instead of 5? Well, they cleaned all my windows, which I was not expecting. They used a dirty towel in doing so. ALL my windows, including my side mirrors were dirtier than before I came in. I had to stop by a car wash to re-clean all my windows, which ended up costing me more $$$. Had I known, I would've asked them to skip the window washing... If you're going to do it - please use a clean towel and make sure there are no streaks! read more

Went to this Jiffy Lube for about 8-10 years with no problems. Then there was one. I got an oil change there on a Saturday. Drove home about 10 miles afterward and didn't drive again until Monday morning. When I got a few feet from my destination Monday morning (about 10 miles from my house) my truck made a bang noise and the lights started going off on my dash. I immediately pulled over into a parking stall. I looked underneath the truck and the bottom was covered in oil. There was no oil left in the truck. I called Jiffy Lube and the manager (can't remember his name... big 50ish white guy that rides a motorcycle) said he'd send somebody over as soon as they get in as it was still early. Eventually a young man named Jesse came to my location with some oil and looked at it with me. He said everything looked fine, but I noticed some metal shavings on the cap for the oil pan when he unscrewed it. He said he didn't see how that would be a problem. He also mentioned that he was the one that did my oil change on the previous Saturday and that he had called me after the oil change. At first I thought I misunderstood and that he had called me on the way to my location, but no he meant he had called me after the oil change. I ask why, and he says he called me twice (I didn't answer) because he noticed my truck was leaking oil on the ground as I left Jiffy Lube. I go in my phone log and sure enough I have two missed calls on that Saturday. They just appeared to be a strange number with no ID attached to them and in this day and age of constant phone scams I, like many don't answer unknown numbers. I asked why he wouldn't have left me a voicemail for something so important. He said he thought it would show up on my phone as Jiffy Lube and I would just know to call them. The owner/manager guy tells me to come on down so they can give me another oil change and clean up the bottom of the truck for me. I had already taken pictures and for the moment the truck seemed to be running ok so I let him. He told me if there's any problems that they've caused to let him know and they could look into getting me a used engine. A couple days later the truck started rattling. I took it to Nissan and they said there was something wrong with one of the cylinders. I asked them if it could be caused by the running out of oil and they said it's possible. They gave me some paperwork and info to take to Jiffy Lube which included their recommendation that the vehicle not be driven in it's current condition. I brought the paperwork to Jiffy Lube and the manager said he would file it with the company and await word back. The next day he asked if he could take another look at the truck. I met him at the Nissan dealer and we noticed oil on the ground under the truck and checked the oil. It was very low. He went in to Nissan and purchased a quart of oil and put it in the truck. He then asked me to start the truck. I did for a couple of minutes. The truck was rattling and he asked me to take him for a drive. I said no. I explained to him that he had the paperwork that stated I should not drive it. He said, how do I know it didn't rattle before we changed your oil? I said how is me taking you for a drive gonna help you know that? I said, what you do know is I came in with no oil leak and immediately upon leaving I had one, and you guys knew that and didn't leave me a message with that information. He said, well if you won't take me for a ride I can't help you. I'll file the paperwork, but I'm not gonna help you anymore... and then he stormed off angry. I emailed Jiffy Lube and they said they would get a hold of the franchise owner and straighten things out for me. They sent me a claim #. When I didn't hear from them for a week I gave them a more detailed email. They stopped replying. I called. No response. I emailed. No response. I eventually called the Bureau of Automotive Repair. They informed me, that while the situation seemed a little shady and the manager himself couldn't keep his story straight when they spoke to him, there was not much they could do. He told me my only option was to take them to small claims court and told me all the things I would have to do to prepare. They amount of money I was gonna have to spend just to have the root of the problem investigated and prove that they were at fault made this impossible for me.... oh, and when talking to the manager, the Bureau representative said the manager told him he never filed my claim because he decided on his own it wasn't valid. This was 2 years ago. The truck is still sitting in my driveway. Between my family and I cutting our ties with this establishment, they have lost 5 times what it would have cost to just replace my motor with a used motor over the course of our lives... Oh well. They didn't have the charger for the tool they needed to fix my windshield chip so they didn't do the best job. It sucks but they were honest and did it for free. It's easy to feel like I'm being cheated or offered services that I don't need because I'm a young woman but Nico and Gerald were honest about what they could and couldn't do they redeemed themselves. read more

They do a good job at this location. I have been bringing my company and personal cars here for years! It's close by the house and convenient. If you drop off at lunch time, you can grab something at Taco Bell next door or Trader Joes and Starbucks are across the street. The staff is friendly and not very pushy. Some locations tend to want to offer you every service they have and scare or intimidate you into purchasing the extras. Not this location.I am usually in and out in 30 minutes or so..They have a TV and K-cup coffee machine inside the lobby as well. read more

I had to come back after they changed my oil because my car was running much rougher than when i brought it in. As it turned out they had forgotten to reattach the air hose. When I suggested they remind the workers to be mindful of this mistake, the guy I spoke to told me it wouldn't do any good or result in any sort of change if they did that. This place is great! Drove right up, they took the van right away, walked me in (sorry for not catching the first gentlemans name, he was very kind!), got me coffee and next thing I know, like 5 people are working on my van! Cleaning windows, checking levels, looking at filters, vaccuming the floors. Another guy came in and rang me up, gave me options of things to have done and if I declined we went right on to the next. No preasure! When it was done they walked me out to mar car, opened the door and invited me back! I dont even thinl the whole thing took 10 minutes! OK, they did what they said they would in a reasonable time frameand the waiting room was clean. On the down side, my oil change with air filter was $77.11 with tax. The receipt,from a line printer, is not very user friendly and does not break out the costs of individual parts so I can't remember if the air filter cost $19.99 or what. Even if it did, that would still make them cost a bit more than a fuller service outlet for an oil change. read more
