On 1/10/17 I visited the shop on a very rainy day, there where 5 other cars in front of me. The team was lead by Manager Shaday who worked efficient & friendly to not only change my oil, change wipers, and filter. They where out of stock of the filter for my Volvo, but that didn't stop them. Manager called & had one delivered in the same time frame it took to change the oil. Wow! They treated me so kind & considerate. I was so impressed how the Manager orchestrated all 7 cars service so fast & trained & couched her team. I've been coming to get my oil changed here regularly over the last few years. Always fast and efficient and courteous. Not sure what happened this week but I stood by the windows watching six inept employees attempt to do what used to be a coordinated task. They were spraying themselves with water bottles (yes, it was hot), listening to music, joking around, grab assing, walking back and forth to the break room (and to their cars in the parking lot) while my car sat in the bay for a good 20 minutes before the hood was even opened. There were about six other customers sitting uncomfortably in the waiting room looking incredulous as there didn't seem to be any progress made. Joe offered me the coupon when I asked at check in but did not include to the final bill - I had to remind him when he rung up the sale. The windows are there for transparency - but what I saw was unprofessionalism and evidence that made me contemplate going back. read more

I went in to this Jiffy Lube location a few weeks ago when I was having car starting issues and a man named Joe was extremely helpful and gave me some advise and recommended a good time to come back when they weren't so busy. I went back today and had exceptional service. They cleaned my windows, vacuumed, completed an oil change, and tire rotation, as well as did a light inspection and stated that all of my break lights were out. They offered to try and replace them and said if that doesn't fix the problem then they will not charge me. Turns out it was a separate issue and they did not charge but were friendly and offered to check for me anyways. I am very pleased with Joe and Kelly. Both were very nice and Joe made me feel like he genuinely wanted to help. read more

Worst shop I've ever had an oil change at. As bad as taking your car to the dealership for service: they will rip you off. Was doubtful going there in the first place but the mom and pop shop I usually go to was closed and my car needed to be brought it. Do not buy anything from them unless you wish to line their pockets for them. read more

Friendly service but beware of the inspection points they claim. I recently had my oil changed there, while it seemed like they were really busy. They told me that all my fluids, lights and tires were up to par. Only problem was that I had previously asked them if they could change my front headlight, as I've known that it was out. This makes me really weary of how accurate their inspections truly are. When I reminded them about the headlight, they told me they could not do that service at this time due to the high volume of customers they had at that time. If you close at 4 that means 4...not 3:25! I really didn't appreciate the attitude and demeanor of the manager. Aggressive,loud and intimidating. No one made mention of leaving the premises other than you. As an owner of 5 personal vehicles which have been serviced by your location, and 3 commercial vehicles I WILL NEVER use or recommend Jiffy Lube again. Don't know why you chose to work on a Sunday if you didn't want to be there. Next time call in sick rather than take your bad day, crappy job and rude attitude out on a paying customer. You truly made me want to throw my hard earned money in your direction...not! And never again! read more

I don't want to make a mean review because I know these guys have family's to feed but I will never ever be coming to this place again. They first try to bump up the price to things I don't need and say my coupon is invalid when it specifically says the exact location and they say it's only for San Francisco. Then they agree to do the coupon then when I get home I figure out their is a oil drip because these guys forgot to tighten the bolt. Thanks a lot now I have a oil stain on my driveway. I'll just put 5 stars because I feel bad but please remember to tighten the dam bolts. read more

The fastest oil change I had in my life, wasn't cheap almost $100 for my car, but they were super fast and efficient.

They installed a new air filter and decided not to put the cover back on correctly. They charged me $150 for oil change and filters. My car was running strange, so took it to the dealer...still under warranty. They told me that the air filter cover was not on correctly and the oil was a quart too high. I went to this Jiffy lube to get my oil change and I was coming back because of the excellent customer service I experienced the first time so when I called to get a price quote the guy that answered the phone I think his name was Tony was very rude. I'm at work and because I didn't know my VIN number or my licence plate number he told me he couldn't help me. So I said I was there before you can't look me up he had the nerve to tell me they were busy and I would have to wait. I'm a manager for a call center and if any of my employees acted that way towards a paying customer they would be reprimanded. I went to this place in early January 2018 to get my oil change. Two weeks ago, I parked my van in my driveway to unload some groceries. When I pulled out of the driveway to move my car to my normal street parking in front of my house, I noticed that there was oil on my driveway. My van never leaked oil before when i parked it on my driveway prior to the oil change. I decided to check the oil the other day so i can top it off and see if there was any leak coming from the side of the engine. As I opened the hood, I immediately noticed that the oil cap was gone. The people that worked on my car at Jiffy Lube in Concord did not put my oil cap back on. I called them yesterday and I was told to take my vehicle to the closest Jiffy Lube from my house so they can replace the oil cap. I went to the Fairfield Jiffy Lube to get it replaced. When I got there I asked the manager, Sherry, who was really nice, to check the oil and top it off since i lost a lot of oil. While inspecting my vehicle, I asked them to check the oil drain plug as well if there was any leak coming from it. The technician told her that the drain plug was just hand tightened and he easily turned it by hand which was supposed to be torqued. Overall experience from the Jiffy Lube in Concord was a nightmare. Had I not parked in my driveway and noticed the leak, it would've damaged my engine pretty bad since I have a long daily commute. read more

They're fast, polite (for the most part) and helpful. You also sometimes get free car wash coupon from the place next door but it's kind of on and off. I've gone here like 5 times and I've received 2 of the coupons. They're good with going over what they think needs to be done with your car. Not pushy with purchasing stuff. I normally change my own oil but in my most recent circumstance I had a brand new company car to look after and I didn't want to screw it up so I brought it to Concord Jiffy Lube. James the manager came to me after the job was done with a very sad look on his face. My key had been accidentally snapped in half and was in two pieces. As you all may or may not know when the key is broken on a new car it renders the car inoperable. Long story short I had the busiest driving day of the month awaiting my time and I was now without a car. I work for a winery and needed to pick up product all the way out in Brentwood and deliver it in Walnut Creek. James assigned one of his employees to drive me to the winery and get the wine I needed for delivery. The service was above and beyond what I expected and I truly felt like they took this situation as seriously as I did. A staggering six weeks later I finally got another key from the dealer and Jiffy Lube gladly paid the bill. Cesar the DM for this area was great and returned all my calls and was proactive about getting the situation resolved. I will be back for another oil change for sure. I am a regular customer at this location as we take both of our vehicles every three months or so. We always receive friendly, kind and efficient service but this past weekend they went above and beyond. About a week ago I started noticing an odor coming from the engine of my car and after looking and looking and not being able to find what's causing that to happen, I decided to call Jiffy Lube to see if I could bring my car in and have them take a look. I called before they opened and James, the manager, answered the phone. I explained my situation and he suggested I look in a few specific areas based on the type of car that I drive and that if I could or couldnt find anything to bring it in and they would at least take a look. I went outside and looked to find that something, a rodent of sorts, had carwled into my engine compartment and was causing the odor. I called back and explained to James what I had found and that I dont think I can get it out myself. He told me to bring my car in and they would see what they could do. I arrived there and they immediately brought my car in popped the hood and began taking a look and seeing what they could do. One gentleman put on gloves reached in and tried to pull it out but was unseccessful, so he grabbed a pole and tried to jar it loose. They told me I could wait inside that they would have it out in a bit. About thirty seconds later they came in, told me it was out and that they cleaned out the engine compartment where the little guy was stuck and that I was good to go. I offered to pay but they would not accept. I was amazed at how helpful, brave and kind they were in this situation. I would have avoided this if I were in their shoes but they delivered in a way that you dont see at many businesses anywhere these days. I will not only continue religiously using this location for my cars but will suggest to EVERYONE that they do the same. Thank you again James and staff, you guys are awesome. read more

Horrible, went in for oil change, get the windshield wipers changed, and transmission fluid changed. Next day noticed they did not change my windshield wipers, had to go back and have them replace it. Then a week later, went to my regular mechanic for something else and he said my transmission fluid still needed changing. I spent over $200 at Jiffy Lube and it looks like they did nothing except do a good job of taking my money. My advice is to establish a good relationship with a local repair shop/technician and if you have to go here, make sure you confirm they have done everything they are supposed to do before you leave. read more

The manager has always let me know what is going on with my truck and made sure to explain the added services. Amazing! Came in pretty early and was taken right away. Pulled into their "driveway" and was greeted by Mike who was super friendly and walked me into the waiting area. Eric handled my transaction and I can't express how appreciative I was over his patience with me. My unique little Canadian car shows kilometers not mileage, and he was really patient while I tried to figure out an accurate conversion for my next service. Sales clerk did not explain higher mileage oil costing more and when I asked her for my final price with the coupon she said we don't do that until we are done. I should have left then but have not had a problem with the final balance in the past. I guess the sales clerk in the past took the time to explain my final price so it was not a surprise. great customer service!!! i took my 03 car in today for an oil changed and it was a very pleasant experience for a not so pleasant errand. i went in after work around 4pm and it wasn't too busy which was nice; i was in and out. he explained the manufactures recommendations and when i explained that i just bought my car used and didn't know what services my car needed, he took me out to show me various conditions of my car without pushing extra services on me. What a great surprise. I like Jiffy Lube, and other quick oil change places as well, but THIS JIffy Lube was remarkable. We were promptly greeted, offered coffee, water, escorted to waiting area and waited for just a few minutes to have the advisor walk through recommendations on the oil change, after they had looked at the car. The recommendations were just that, there was no hard sell involved, ( I accepted the recommendations..since I already knew of the need for the items). THEN I had a coupon which was great, but to top it off, they even volunteered an additional discount that I was not aware of but they added to my coupon. The car was ready in about 20 minutes and runs great. This Jiffy Lube was very clean, the employees provided excellent customer service, and while I previously had not cared much who changed the oil in my car, as long as it got done, I have changed my tune Based on this experience, I will be using JIffy Lube Concord even if I have to drive a little further to get there. The technician offered coffee. I walked in to get some and there was a sign that said "sorry, no coffee." A little thing, but this happened to each customer that came in as I was waiting. The clerk asked if I had a coupon, I said I had accidentally left it at home. The clerk did not offer to accept the coupon. Understandably, I did not bring it- but most places would honor the coupon. Also, music with rather offensive lyrics- vulgarities and profanities was blasting from the shop. There was a young child in the waiting area. I do not think I will return to this establishment in the future. read more
