This is by far the worst Jiffy Lube that you can ever go to in the Sacramento area. They always find any excuse to not do the services on the car. A bunch of lazy people and you are better off not having your car serviced by these lazy employees. They are so lazy it is ridiculous. I've been visiting this jiffy lube for about 5 years now, getting oil changes for both household vehicles. I've been satisfied with their service until my most recent visit. While having the oil changed in my truck, they spilled oil all over the under carriage of my truck and didn't properly clean it. Residual oil has been dripping onto my driveway ever since, staining my driveway. Even after power washing and using concrete cleaner, the stains don't look any different. I'll most likely find somewhere else to have my oil changed from now on. Just to be clear, I did not have one stain on my driveway prior to this issue. read more

Do not recommend.. I was told they top off all fluids but found out next day my windshield fluid was still empty. During service I was told I needed new windshield wiper blades but I declined. But next day went to use my windshield wiper for frost and they were missing. I called and manager told me they must of fallen off??? Had car over 20 years and never have my wiper blades just fallen off... she told me if I came back she would charge me $15 for wiper blades. I can't trust the shop again . read more

Wow the worst customer service ever the manager has no people skills and could absolutely careless about your car or you for that matter I worked as a manager for three years at this location and and in no way would I let my employees greet customers like they could care less or wish you didn't show up and are annoyed they now have to perform a service. I showed up was going to get an oil change but after they greeted me I really don't want anyone touching my vehicle if they treat you like dirt. I had issues starting my car every morning over the past week, and I suspected my battery was the problem. My regular mechanic is not open on Saturdays, so I thought I would give Jiffy Lube a try. They tested my battery, and it did prove to be the problem. I could not believe how quickly I was in and out of there! They were quick and efficient, and they were friendly as well. Jiffy lube....My husband took my car in for an oil change to the Sunrise Ave. Jiffy Lube in Fair Oaks. They were very thorough and informed him of any and all needs my vehicle may have needed at that time. All went well except when he was driving the vehicle home he noticed the car was running a little rough. When he pulled over my husband looked under the hood to see that the air filter hose was not reconnected properly. Not having the proper tools on hand, he contacted Jiffy lube and spoke to the manager Greg and he immediately sent one of their technicians out and he was able to reconnect the hose and he was on his way again. I know it is a simple mistake but I appreciate the fact that Jiffy Lube took care of the situation immediately. In return for the inconvenience my husband was given a free complimentary oil change for his truck as well as them fixing the immediate problem at hand with my car. With this said, I would definitely recommend this Jiffy Lube location for your oil changes as well as any other simple needs for your vehicle. I came here for an oil change needed a part. After leaving and driving to auburn my oil light came on pulled into gas station and checked the oil , it was empty. Looked under the car and it a dripping from the part that was just replaced. Spent 47$ on 4 quarts full synthetic oil to get home only to have to stop again and buy another 4 quarts. Very disappointed I have always had my oil changed with jiffy lube. Will be back in the morning for a complete fix since I did not have an oil leak before they changed the part. And definitely did not loose 4 quarts in 30 minutes. This is an update to the above issue. I went back, the part turned out to be defective, they fixed the part and clean up the mess from the oil and even refunded my money. Customer service was great. I have been going to this Jiffy Lube for over 20 yrs and it's been a good experience for the most part. Recently I stopped in to get the oil changed on my F250 diesel and the girl up front told me what I have been using and the services they have done in the past, she said I see you have been using synthetic as suggested but we don't have it so we will put our regular oil in. I told her that every time I come I'm convinced to use the better product because of how good it is for my vehicle but now it's fine to use the non synthetic? Anyway she said it wasn't her that told me to use synthetic and she didn't like the tone I had when I was talking with her- I picked up and left saying thank you but no thanks and went to Oil Stop off of Madison and Fair Oaks Blvd. Oil stop was fast and pleasant with a price point that came out to be about $7.00 cheaper. Thank you Jippy Lube for introducing me to Oil Stop-- They even replaced the stripped oil plug for free! It's amazing how far customer service will motivate a customer to make a post, good or bad!!!!! read more

The staff today was so helpful in diagnosing a severe oil leak that sprung up out of nowhere. I pulled in and got immediate assistance after my dash alert went off while running errands. I was told exactly where the leak was coming from and what to do (not drive!) the guys made sure I was comfortable while waiting for a tow truck. They were professional, honest, helpful, and friendly. You could tell each person there enjoyed their job and took pride in their work. Stopped in today for an oil change and the team was very communicative about the order of the cars in front of me and how long I would likely be waiting. While waiting, they also cleaned my windows. Once the oil change began, they gave me all my options and were real about what was needed and not needed. Brought in my vehicle for an oil change last year. The following day under my vehicle there was quarts of oil flowing in my garage. I call this location expressing concerns, but was stated to go somewhere else because they don't have time for this issue. So I decided to just drive over anyways. To my surprise there was no other customers. The person who helped me was either the owner/manager of this location. He said there was a leak, which he said he fixed. I asked about topping off the oil due to the leak. He wasn't happy about this based on his facial expression. He stated he topped the oil off, and I was good to go. Within the next few months my car would shake, and make strange noises. The vehicle at this point because unsafe to drive, and my family also felt the vehicle might break down. I eventually had to PNO my vehicle, and wait to save enough money to have someone look at it. After saving for a year, a mechanic stated the vehicle most likely had issues due to oil. The mechanic stated when draining the oil out the oil was brown in color which means someone put water into the oil. I explained the last time my vehicle had an oil change was with this company, and specifically this stores location. I do not recommend getting any oil changes at this location due to the lack of knowledge in performing the basic function of an oil change. A smile, and or apology does not fix the money, time, and frustration this has caused my family. I have expressed concerns to family, and friends regarding this locations deceitful ways. read more

These people are Kings of the UpSell. I was waiting for them to tell me that my left arm looked like it needed replacing and that they could replace it cheaper than any other place. Aside from the oil change, I needed a new battery, blah blah blah. I was told several times that it would just take "10 minutes" "5 minutes" to get done. After seeing my car get pulled out of the service area, I went outside to go after it only to find they drove it around back to change the battery. "Just 5 minutes." Bullsheet. After waiting another 10 minutes, I asked if my car was done and the smartalec behind the counter said "I'm sure it is done or almost done". I decided to see for myself to find the service dude looking perplexed before going back to get help. WTF. Isn't this basic? I stewed by the car for a while and NO ONE came and told me what was going on. I had been there for nearly an hour now. People had come and gone. Three people were working on the battery and I had no idea what was happening. Finally, I see them pull the battery out. WHAT? All that work and they had yet to even remove the battery? An employee finally came over to me and said that it took longer than usual because of all of the corrosion around it and I got pissed. I explained that if I was given a factual time frame instead of being told a variety of short intervals when my car would be done, I would have chosen not to have the service done. I understand that things take longer than usual but no one informed me what was going on. He apologized and said he would get it done as fast as possible. Within a few minutes, the new battery was in and I jumped in my car and left. I will NEVER go back to this place. NEVER. I don't care if I only need an oil change, turn down all of their offers and there is no one else in line. They are bullshitters who just want to look nice but are really aholes. read more

Upsold my son a "windshield chip repair" that we didn't need. Resulted in a huge crack across the bottom of the windshield. Son didn't notice crack before he left for 2 reasons, he was hurrying to see us in the hospital with grandma, and it was around sunset. We called asap when they next opened and they denied any wrong doing. The only reason my son agreed to the chip repair in the first place was he was trying to help out our family during this difficult time. We live out of town, could not follow up on this and continued family trauma took precedence. Poor service... poor accountability. Shame on them. read more

I came here spontaneous to get my oil changed. I needed to get my oil change. The guy came to me to let me know it will be a few minutes. I waited about 5 minutes before a different guy came to ask me questions on my car. They do try to sell on the most expensive oil. I told the guy I wanted a basic oil change. I went to the waiting area. About 15 minutes later the guy came to let me know things about my car. All in all my car is in great condition. Well I certainly hope so since it is a 2016. I do think they might need another person assisting the customers waiting to get their car's oil change since there was only one guy. I noticed just after me there were a few more people waiting. I stopped in for an oil change and everything started off great, I was given a fair quote and told that any additional oil needed above the 5 qts would be an additional charge. I asked if they would include at the original price and was told absolutely. When it came time to enter my information at the register, this was not the case and the employee said "I need to get my managers approval ". The manager said "I never said it would be included " and that I would have to pay an additional $27, this not what we agreed on. I told him that I'll have to pass on the service unless I'm charged what we agreed on. He said again " that wasn't what he agreed to". I LOVE this location! From Lisa, the cashier, to Juan who helped me on the phone several times that day, to Alex the mechanic, and everyone else I haven't yet met...I give this place FIVE THUMBS UP! They courteously got my car in, told me what was wrong and what they suggested and didn't try to sell me on any BS. Yes, it takes a little while to get seen when there are others ahead of you - after all they only have 4 bays. But once your car is in, it's only a matter of minutes before it's done and you can leave. PLUS Lisa always walks the customer to their car, and in my case, at least, showed me the new clean oil in my engine:) I will be back fer shure!!!!! read more
