This places needs adult supervision. As I pulled in, I was surprised to see two empty service bays and three empty service lanes. Another customer was doing a u-turn and leaving (I bet I know why). In the first bay there was a kid, out of uniform, sitting on a bucket vacuuming his beater. I pulled into the second lane and four employees scatter. An older Hispanic man comes out and says "we cannot service this vehicle because it takes a special filter", which is a lie. "You have to go to another Jiffy Lube or Grease Monkey". Went to get an oil change and chassis lube. Oil was changed, the chassis was not lubed. I asked if they had lubed the chassis, they said they did. I was point blank lied too. I crawled under and checked the grease zerks, not a one was touched. So I just did it myself. read more

This Jiffy Lube, store # 901 located at 8100 Crestline Ave Unit E-2, Littleton CO, is owned by Southwest Lubrication, Inc. The owners are listed as Doug and Chuck Schroeder. If it were possible to give a lower rating I would. On June 11, 2022 I took my 2018 Ford F-150 in for an oil change. Four days later on June 15, 2022, the oil pan drain plug fell out while driving to work. Before I could find a safe place to park the engine stopped running. I arranged to have the vehicle towed to a Ford dealership for repairs. Once the dealership looked at it they forwarded me pictures of my oil pan drain plug sitting on the skid plate of the vehicle and no oil in the oil pan. They found that the engine had seized and both turbos were blown due to oil starvation. The damage was estimated to be in excess of $16,000 just for the engine replacement. I was contacted on June 17th by the owner of this franchise, Doug Schroeder who took full responsibility for the mistake. When I asked about covering my out of pocket expenses such as the tow fee, rental car fee, lost wages for the 15th he said that he would take care of everything. He also made a similar statement to the service writer at Auto Nation Ford in Littleton, CO. Since that conversation I have contacted Jiffy Lube International six times (6) to have Schroeder return my calls. HE HAS NOT!!! I have heard absolutely NOTHING from Schroeder, Jiffy Lube, Southwest Lubrication, Inc the (franchise owner of Jiffy Lube #901) or any insurance company to date. I filed a complaint with the BBB in early July. Schroeders response to the complaint was to send a copy of my invoice for the oil change. NOT A SINGLE WORD DISPUTING THE CLAIM. I have contacted an attorney today who basically stated what I was thinking was happening. They are trying to get me to spend my money until I realize that it is no longer cost effective to pursue this matter. According to an internet search that particular store earned $1.9 M last year. They are making money off of the backs of hard working individuals not unlike yourselves. Please be aware that Schroeder, Jiffy Lube #901and Jiffy Lube International, could care less about you or your vehicle. I am angry but I also want to warn individuals to AVOID JIFFY LUBES at all costs. They really don't care about their workmanship, the employees at that store are disgruntled and several have quit or are threatening to quit just since I've been dealing with this situation. BUYER BEWARE!!! I will just lay the facts out for you here. Went to take my subaru forester xt in for an oil change. The next day when I went to drive the vehicle and noticed it wasn't shifting right and had a new grinding noise. I took it back in the next business day to see what the problem was. Turns out a non OEM nut/bolt was in my turbo intake tube (probably dropped in the vehicle when they took the air filter out to show me). Now I am left with a 2,300$ bill to pay to replace the turbo and the manager is not remorseful, cooperative, or helpful at all. Before this, the owner of the subaru worked at a subaru dealership and only used OEM parts, nuts, and bolts. JIFFY LUBE MESSED UP MY CAR AND NOW I HAVE TO PAY THOUSANDS. I took my car in and they messed up my vehicle computer programs, forgot to fill the washer fluid and then did not tighten the oil filter which dripped oil for several days almost damaging the engine and had to refill 3 quarts oil within a week. Our new driveway and garage floor were stained with oil. They did not take "full" responsibility to take care of the oil stains or making things right. I don't want to be nasty in any way but i want to state the facts. I have been taking my car to the Crestline store for 15 years. Sometimes they leave black dirty hand prints on the dash and doors. Foot prints on the floor matts. Last week I had my oil changed and drove from Littleton to Dillon and my car overheated and spewing out of the hood. My coolant was completed empty. It took 1.5 gallons of coolant to fill the radiator. My engine could have been completely ruined. I called the manager and he said it is not their job to check the radiator and top it off. Always go the extra mile and I've never experienced any forgetting to replace an air filter etc like what happens at some places. When I checked out they showed me the oil level was good, then showed me no transmission fluid on the dipstick for transmission. So with a lot of attitude, he got some fluid, put some in, and said there you go. LOL, I then pulled it back out, and still nothing. He walked off talking under his breath I asked him if something was wrong and he just said not my problem. I was confused I just bought the van used and wanted to make sure the fluids were good and full. They did change my oil, it was pretty quick but two issues remained. They didn't reset the oil change notification reminder that the car shows you when it's started up. I reminded them to do this. They said they did it but they didn't do it. So what else didn't they do? It was the most expensive oil change I've ever had; a car dealer charged about a third and washed my car. Worst experience ever. Will never return. I would have given it zero stars if I could, but that wasn't an option. I asked for the standard synthetic oil change. Manufacture recommends 5 quarts, which is the same as the standard change. When I get the bill it's over $120!!!! When I questioned him on the excessive charge he said the synthetic was a little more expensive than what he quoted (no $h#t!), and they topped it off at 6 quarts. I explained that I asked for the standard manufacture recommended 5 quarts, didn't ask them to top it off, and wouldn't pay for it. Then I noticed he also charged me $24 for labor on top of the extra quart of oil! So I then ask what the labor charge was, because the oil change includes the labor to change the oil? He couldn't explain why, and said he would ask management. I made him take that off too. Then, when I checked the window sticker he had the next oil change mileage as 3,000 more than when it was changed. I corrected him on this as well, and made him change it to 10,000 miles. I always take my vehicle to the jiffy lube on Kipling, which I am always impressed with. They pay attention to details and don't miss anything. They always show me oil levels, wash /vacuum everything, etc. Today, out of convenience, I visited the jiffy lube on Crestline. This was a mistake I will not repeat. When I sat down in the lobby, it was 5:40, twenty minutes till close. I immediately realized my error, as employees were rushing around to get out the door and literally had their cars running. Vehicle was finished at 5:52. Nobody ever went over anything about the service. No one offered options or recommendations. Oil levels were not shown to me. Windows not washed. I've been coming here for a couple of years, but no longer. When I arrived at the shop there were two cars waiting to move in to an open bay; mine and another guy's truck. I went inside and waited at the counter for about 9 minutes before someone finally came in and told me that "we will go through everything once your car is in the bay". That would have been great... if they did not move my car away from where I left it to another bay. They let three new cars that arrived after me in my spot. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! I just came in for an oil change and tire rotation. I left with grease marks on the seat of an almost new car (14k miles), no valve stem caps on the passenger side, dirty windows (they weren't touched even thoough it was checked off on the service order), and tires that were never rotated. My vehicle never left the oil change bay until I drove it away from the exit side after the oil change. I spoke to the manager (Brian Mizell) who said he would "have a huddle" with the service guys but offered nothing further until I pressed the issue.
