The last two times I attempted to be serviced at this location I've waited 10-20 minutes outside the doors with ZERO acknowledgment. I drove there last week for an oil change and waited for 20mins with absolutely no one acknowledging me or telling me which bay to pull into. Went in early on a Sunday morning arriving at 0845. This location is anything but Jiffy and Express! I was there for almost two hours for a simple fleet oil change and tire rotation. Unacceptable for a business built on convenience and efficiency. I will most likely avoid this location in the future and direct our fleet cars to other service-locations. . read more

My fiancé received an oil change from this location and experienced serious oil leakage. When we took the car to another mechanic, they noticed that the previous people did not tighten the oil cap correctly. They advised us to contact jiffy lube. We spoke with Shane who is the Senior Manager for the Ventura, he was extremely rude and condescending. So much so that we did not want to speak with him any further. I asked for his supervisors name (who is the district manager) and Shane said he cannot give out that information. I then asked him for the corporate number and he said "why? They're just going to forward your complaint back to me." I then asked for the customer service number and he said that i can just look it up on the website myself. My fiancé lives in Long Beach and does not make it to Oxnard that often, so he did not have the opportunity to make it back here. Shane's tone and tact was extremely unprofessional and inappropriate. Spent 40 min outside in line waiting not one person came to check in with me the whole time I was waiting so I decided to finally get off because there was no movement, I let the guy know inside that I wanted to drop off the car and come back when it was done but he stated I could not leave until i was checked in. I took my Tahoe to get the oil changed in December and they OBVIOUSLY used RECYCLED OIL!! I had to get the oil changed again because it was messing up my engine! Never ever going back! If my engine had further issues better believe I'm taking this to court! We literally have had this car less than a year and they messed my car up with their half ass work! Jiffy lube offers the free top offs before 3000 miles or 3 months since your last oil change which is great. They also filled up my power steering fluid, cleaned out my windshield wiper nozzle and topped off the fluid along with making sure my tires were pumped up. Great service! read more

But you know, sometimes a gal needs her oil changed on a Sunday, so JL it was. Turns out, the employees were courteous and speedy. I just said "No, no, no, and no" to all the recommended "extras" (filters changed, etc.; seriously, $60 for the cabin air filter -- which I saw you pop back in in 2 seconds? No.), and I was out of there in 20 minutes. Done and done. (**We'll see if my car is stolen, or all the oil drains out catastrophically, or something - but so far, so good). read more

Josh, whom I don't believe was there my last visit, was so helpful. He went above and beyond in explaining what was recommended and WHY. I used to be a loyal customer here when it came to my oil changes for years, but this last time I came in to get my breaks replaced. I paid a good chunk of money thinking they knew what they were doing. afterwards my breaks did squeak here and there and since I'm not very well informed on cars I thought maybe since they were brand new I just had to give it some time. boy was I wrong! I took my car to a different spot to get it checked up on. turns out the break pads weren't ever place on correctly so I was only using one third of them and a screw was missing. I was told that I was insanely lucky that they hadn't fallen off. I'm very upset with this jiffy lube. the guys are normally nice and helpful but whoever was working on my car that day completely half assed the job!! won't ever be returning again. read more

I always liked jiffy lube till today! I went in around 11am for a oil change and new batterie, the guy told me I didn't need another oil change for another 4,000 miles and that I was in there last month (what is it to him how long ago I was there) and then he told me that I didn't need a new battery even tho it's a 2016 battery but instead told me to go to auto zone to have it charge for 3 hours, and lastly they ran a scan on my truck for the check Engine light being on told me to take a picture of the code and google it to find out what it means. (Isn't that there job to do and why I go in there to pay them!) They should hire new people who actually wanna work and help customers! read more

Horrible place DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! They left me with no oil filter in my BMW and when I made it back in to my normal Jiffy Lube in Santa Maria they found there was no oil filter. I drove around like this for 7 months! On the receipt from them it states my oil filter was replaced and they even up charged me for my special oil filter and didn't even do what they were supposed to do! I am getting in touch with corporate to make sure they are responsible for any damage caused by this! Sad to say but they were only nice because I was a female alone! read more

I called at 8:15 about getting my serpentine belt replaced. The man who answered said the mechanic would be in at 9 and to arrive around that time. I arrived at 9:05 and was told the would be right with me and the change would only take about an hour. I waited for 45 mins before getting the quote and then was told it would take another hour as their mechanic had only just arrived. My advise would be to go someplace else as the employees don't seem to care about the costumers in the slightest. read more

If you know what you want/need going in and stand your ground, all will be good. This was my first visit here even though I live down the street. I came in for the Signature Service Oil Change because I found a coupon online for $18 off. Tip: if you check in on yelp, the discount offered is $10. The $18 off coupon is online and not hard to find. Anyway. I came in at 1pm and was done within 30 mins with a clean car, new oil, and they filled the power steering fluid + windshield washer fluid (I checked). The only thing they tried to upsell was the air filter (typical) and I simply said no so that was that. The only reason I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars is because when I asked the guy in the front if they could take out my spare tire, his response was "you should've told us that before we took your car up front." In hindsight he had a point, but how and when was I suppose to know when they'd be done. What he should've told me was to pull right back around so they can take care of it. read more

They were very through, I did end up paying more but they did deserve it for everything they did, they changed out 3 different kind of filters, 2 looked as if they have never been changed!
