Rupert was great with our visit! We first went to our usual location on Rose to get an oil change. When we arrive (no appointment) they told us they didn't have the oil we use for our car . Odd, yes. So they told us to go to this location. We arrived and told Rupert about our experience and made a call and told us they DID in fact have the oil we use, and told us it was unprofessional of them to have made us drive further away. I came in for an oil change, and although they wanted to upsell some other services to me, I stayed with what I came in for. Jose was helpful, which I appreciated. Very slow service. Workers don't seem to complete one car and move to the next. It was a lot of back and forth to customer cars, to the computer, inside the office, back to the computer. No sense of urgency, very inefficient. I go to jiffy Lupe for fast service, nothing else, they dropped the ball. When you have to tell two different employees to assist you as a customer, that's bad customer service. It was about a 3 hour process with not many cars there before me. I would of been there longer if I didn't speak up. This is my first Yelp review. I have had hundreds of expierences/transactions with businesses in my life time. My car tires were getting wore. Chris the manager was very helpful and took great care of me and my car. He has customer service down and through the whole process I felt confident I was getting great service and not being led on about any extra things needing to be done . He listen to what I had to say and went above and beyond with taking care of me. I replaced two tires and he also told me how to get my warranty that wasn't provide to me from another jiffy lube in order to be able to take care of my other two tires. While I was greeted by a nice fellow upon arrival I got into the FULL waiting room. The Manager "Chris" was on a "personal" call talking about how he only eats red meat and eggs in order to bulk up his muscles. He was also searching on the internet to explain to his phone buddy why Red meat helps to bulk muscles. After standing there for almost 20 minutes with no acknowledgement, I noticed about 10 cars in the bay (each with hood open) and NOBODY servicing a single car. A few months ago I went in for an oil change before I went out of town. The charge was $78 which I thought was ridiculous but it needed to be done. I was also told my transmission fluid needed to be changed, which we all know is a rip off. I was also told that the tires would need to be rotated at my next visit. Yesterday I took my car to the dealership for a recall and asked the price of their oil change, $40! The dealership also went through my car for any other repairs that were needed and none were. JIffy Lube is a rip off! When the dealership is cheaper than the another place, you know something is wrong. I've learned my lesson. read more

Was just informed by Valvoline's oil center that my last oil change FROM JIFFY LUBE got me some zip ties instead of metal hardware for my skid plate. Who does that? I was suckered in by a JIFFY LUBE coupon that wasn't valid because they didn't have my engine oil in conventional oil; who doesn't have conventional oil for a 4RUNNER!?? The oil change I opted for turned out to be a good $30 higher than Valvoline does for the same job without the incompetence. The same morning I was waiting at another Jiffy Lube in Ventura, the guy who was supposed to open was half hour late and never attempted to retain my business. Came by today to get an Oil Change and I usually go to a shop down the street from work, but this place had GREAT customer service, got me in and out way quicker than Goodyear does and took the time to show me how bad BOTH my Air Filters were as well as my Cabin Filter. Definitely coming back. Matter of fact, after I drop this car off, I'll probably go get my other car to knock it out as well as I know it is due for a change. GREAT job guys, you've earned my future business on all my vehicles... As I stated earlier, I went back and brought one of our other cars to get an Oil Change. Spent over an hour and 20 minute in the bay with my hood up. They weren't very crowded, there was even a customer that arrived about 30 minutes after me, had her oil changed, and was finished about 15 minutes before I was. All I had done was an oil change!! When I brought it up to the cashier I was informed -that the manager had hurt his back and was upstairs watching tv, unable to help. I would have had faster service if I had just taken it to the dealership. I've had great experiences with jiffy lube before, but this will be my last time using their services. read more

Wow. Thanks guys. Went here and got my oil changed, tires rotated, filter changed. The guys said they checked all my fluid levels. I also Told the men there that the thermometer to check the temperature of the engine was on H and they assured me nothing was wrong and everything was checked and I shouldn't be worried unless a check engine light came on. Well guess what. When the check engine light came on it was far too late. There was absolutely no coolant/antifreeze. At all. My car started smoking. My engine got over heated and died. Now I have to drop hundreds if not thousands of dollars. Amazing. I wish I could add the video I took of my CAR SMOKING. read more

While the employees were polite, and I hope the work was done well; the gentleman checking me in failed to mention there was a charge when they asked if I wanted my tires rotated. All the other establishments I have used in the past included it in their oil change package; I didn't think to ask, and did not realize until I got home and explored my receipt to see why this place was so expensive. Buyer beware is not a good feeling. After reading this, management refunded me the cost of the tire rotation; which was very nice. read more

WAITED OVER 2 HOURS before they even gave me an estimate or started working on my car. Wasn't done until over 3 hours for a simple OIL CHANGE. I understand they were understaffed and busy but the employees had no sense of actually working. Roaming around, vacuuming each other, standing around talking...alright. I had taken my truck to get a oil change at this location . Ofcourse they return after 30 minutes telling me the drain plug is stripped and could not remove it . They told after they had it for a while and fid not notify me soon as the truck had a issue. Ofcourse 900.00 later I am paying for a new oil pan now . I'll see them in court. He notified me when I could come in for the installation. They were anticipating my arrival and I was out of there in 45 minutes. Talk about exceeding expectations. I came in because my tire pressure light was on and I thought I just needed some air added. Turns out I had a nail and had driven too long on it and it was basically flat so I needed a new one. Obviously not a great situation to be in but the guys there made the experience so much better than what it could have been. I was immediately greeted by Jesus and Jackson as soon as I pulled up. They spotted the tire and based on the state of it informed me I would need a new one (not just adding air). They didn't have it in stock but were able to get it for me in about an hour! I thought I would have to come back tomorrow so that was amazing. When I came back, Chris (who I hadn't met before) knew exactly who I was and got me in super quick. Chabelo is the one who actually changed the tire and he was super quick as well. All the guys there had such a positive attitude despite being wet and cold from the rain. Chris helped me check out and it was great conversation. The whole experience was a 10/10! read more

I brought my car in for an oil change as I normally do when I reach the mileage read on the little sticker. Upon arrival the attendant was very friendly and welcoming. He showed us in and offered seating and coffee and other amenities in the waiting room. Fast forward 25-30 mins later another attendant call me up to the clear door, next to the service counter, leading to the garage. The man's body language reads nervous. He ask me if my car has ever given me trouble shutting down or starting up I say no, never. He then ask if my car has been shaking at all I say no, and then he assures me that it does. He proceeds to tell me that they are reluctant to do the oil change and recommends another they do another service in addition to seeing a mechanic. 5 mins later attendant #3 calls me up and starts ringing me up for an oil change and says they can and will do the oil change. I explain to the guy the other man had the exact opposite recommendations. I refused the oil change because of their inconsistencies. For what it's worth, like most people who are customers at jiffy lube, I do not specialize in cars but this place gave me a bad vibe. I have had great experiences at the lube place near winco. A couple years ago, I would never thought I'd rate this Jiffy Lube again; however, Tristan hands down went above and beyond. I flagged him down with questions, not knowing his shift ended, he answered all questions and checked my car. It needed a repair that had to be done by him, he got approval and stayed working on my car. I'm a worry wart so the fact that he took the extra steps to ensure my car was repaired today meant a lot. The last two times I attempted to be serviced at this location I've waited 10-20 minutes outside the doors with ZERO acknowledgment. I drove there last week for an oil change and waited for 20mins with absolutely no one acknowledging me or telling me which bay to pull into. I went here for an oil change today. I normally go to the one on rose but that one isn't too "jiffy" and when I tried to go today they guy said it would be a 2 hours wait. No thanks! So I went to esplanade location. They are sooooo fast here. But maybe faster isn't better! They were done in 20 mins. I got into my car to leave and instantly heard my ac making a flicker sound. Hmmm it didn't do that before. So I start to drive away and turned up air and the smell of burn and chemicals starts blowing outta my ac vents. I Immediately turn around and tell the guy what happened. He stuck his head into my car and said he could smell it. He asked me to go back inside and they would clean it up. They pull car back through and call me back up. They said just to use precaution because of the smell but that they cleaned it up. Nothing like having the stench of oil and chemicals blasting you in the face! Also, the guy told me my car needs synthetic oil. I've had the car for 2 years and have never used synthetic. He made me sign something saying it will void warranty blah blah blah. I googled it and couldn't find anywhere that my car needs synthetic. I also called my dealership just to be certain and they said no for my engine it's fine. Maybe they are trying to scare people into paying more for synthetic!! **"" I finally got a reply from Andrew and he apologized and made things better! Si pudiera poner 0 estrellas lo haria pero no hay opcion la experiencia más mala que eh tenido fue el dia de hoy, no se si cambiaron a los manejadores pero los mecánicos del día de hoy solo querían sacar ventaja y tratar de que tu pagues más por un simple cambio de aceite, cuando llegue un guero me dijo los 4 diferentes costos de ese servicio yo me fui por el más bajo y convencional de 58 dollares después de 20 minutos entro un chicanito diciendo que mi carro nescesitaba filtros para la cabina del aire acondicionado y que de 58 se iva a subir a 120 dollares le dije que no que solo el cambio de aceite 2 minutos despues regresa y me dice que no tienen más del aceite barato que si quería el siguiente más caro costaba 78 y le dije que no y el me dijo de una mala manera donde sea te van a cobrar igual y otra vez le dije no me lo llevo se molesto porque estoy seguro que el ya había empezado el trabajo y cuando vieron que no iva a pagar más el cerro mi cofre de mala manera y me dijo que yo sacara mi carro con el riesgo de que el carro cayera en el hoyo que se meten ellos para trabajar, lo más increíble y que no se cree es que se les acabe el aceite no manchen siempre quieren sacarle más dinero a la gente,sali de ahi fui al walmart y me costo 48 dolares el más caro en jiffy lube este mismo costaba 118 jamas regresare ahi read more

Went in early on a Sunday morning arriving at 0845. This location is anything but Jiffy and Express! I was there for almost two hours for a simple fleet oil change and tire rotation.
