I take my car here for my oil change and they are courteous and quick. However they often don't provide services like window cleaning and vacuuming but mark your summary as having performed them. Last time I took my car there I was due for a tire rotation. I had bought tires from Costco and this was the first time they were needing to be rotated. We were going on a road trip to San Diego and I told them that. So I paid for the tire rotation. A month later I had low tire pressure so I went to Costco to get it filled. The man that topped off my air looked concerned and asked if I'd purchased my tires from Costco because if you do they do free tire rotations. He told me that my tires need to be rotated. Which means Jiffy Lube never rotated them. I paid for a service and didn't receive it. I often feel that because I'm a woman they try to con me into services or pull wool over my eyes. I will have my husband take the cars in from now on. Maybe they'll respect him more. read more

Improper installation of new rotors and brake pads. I will never go back to jiffy lube. Specifically the mechanic did not tighten the tapered screws for the front rotor on the drivers side. When I left jiffy lube the first time to pick up my mom at the hospital after getting let out of the hospital for knee surgery I notice a knock every time I applied the brakes. Had to drive back to jiffy lube with my mom waiting in the waiting room to wait for my girlfriend to pick her up and take her home. Second time I have used this location. First time I thought the staff seemed on top of things and all was good. I am an aircraft technician and usually do my own maintenance but as I get older I would rather not do the minor stuff. However oil change places have been hit or miss. So second visit is disappointing. They get me right in then it takes over an hour to complete just an oil change but I can be impatient so no big deal. I pull into my garage and there is coolant dripping on the floor. Lift the hood and find the overflow tube disconnected. Looks like it was removed to check the air filter and not hooked back up. Oiley hand prints on front fender and bumper. Now I wonder what else was missed. Loose oil plug? Oil filter installed correctly. No attention to detail, I will not be back. read more

Great service! I went in for an oil change and was in and out in 30 minutes. They don't scam you into paying for everything else that is wrong (or usually not) with your car but will actually run tests and show you where your cars at and compare it to where it should be. I don't know anything about cars but I do know those guys were reasonably priced and took care of me ( plus gave me a few notes on my car...need to get my break fluid changed). I went to get a much much needed oil change and it went well. I was greeted promptly and the young man opened the door for me which was nice. One of the mechanic Duane told me that something was loose and it was causing issues and he was sweet enough to tighten it up for me (thanks bro!!). However when it came time to select the kind of oil and stuff, the guy wasn't TOO helpful, kinda was like " which one do you want" and didn't really recommend which direction I should go in, or tell me the pros and cons of the like 8 different options.. An alert came up regarding tire inflation on our dashboard and we became VERY NERVOUS. We saw the Jiffy Lube on Vineyard in Oxnard and pulled in. Mark immediately came out and said he would help as he was finishing up with another customer. After a few minutes he introduced himself and asked how he could help. We explained that we were on a long road trip in a new vehicle and he very quickly reassured us that all would be fine and not to worry. After checking the tire pressures, including the spare, he checked under the hood too. Mark then got the assistance of one of his teammates to reset the dashboard and then delivered a little bit of training about our new car. While all this was happening, we carried on a casual conversation about hometowns and sure enough Mark was able to find some common connections, which is very important in customer service. We will never, ever go back again. They were going to charge us $101.00 for an oil change on a Hinda Civic!! The employee claimed that it used a special oil which it doesn't and charged $50.00 in labor. After I told him it was outrageous to charge $101.00 and we were not paying that he offered to take $20 off. The guy next to me then showed me that he too got charged $101.00. I would give it zero stars if I could. Took my car in after calling ahead, they said sure bring it in. Upon arrival, they said it would be about half hour. Sat there for nearly an hour and no one went near the car to work on it. For an oil change and air filter replaced. Asked what was going on, was told I was next. After about 15 minutes, someone showed up to do the oil change. They barely changed the oil and left the screws off the air filter. Didn't even spend 10 minutes on my car yet on the check sheet, they marked off that everything was checked, all fluids good, topped off. After waiting another 30 minutes, I was able to leave. Within a week, I had to add coolant to my car and oil because the dipstick was reading low. Took it to a mechanic, thinking something was wrong. Afterall, I was just at Jiffylube and the check sheet said all the fluid levels were great. Nope. The mechanic said there wasn't enough oil put in and it didn't look like anything had been added in months. I will never ever go back here and can't recommend this to anyone else. read more

The worst Jiffy Lube. I've given it a couple tries, to to another one or maybe not a Jiffy at all. The people are nice but are SUPER slow. You'll be there for at least a couple hours. Got my oil changed today, and had a great experience here. My wait was kind of long but they were very apologetic about the wait. The employees I interacted with were very friendly and knowledgeable. The man at the cash register was very friendly and helpful! Wish I looked at his name. He was on the register today (Sat 12/14/19) around 4 pm if that helps management figure out who he was. Lastly, Josh showed me all the caps were on and in place and showed me the dipstick to show that the services were in fact performed. He was very nice and knowledgeable as well. I personally won't take my car to this place but we have taken a few of our company work trucks because its convenient. Most of the time we go elsewhere but on occasion Jiffy Lube is closer so there we go. This morning we had one of our trucks go in for an oil change & our employee called to let me know that Jiffy Lube had run our old fleet card account even after she told them not to, hence calling me. When I spoke to the JL employee, Donnie, he was fairly unprofessional and said it was open in their system and he ran it so basically that's that. I of course asked for a manager. Donnie did not even put me on hold as he shouts out to his manager "Ruben!! Can you come get the phone and talk to this Sofia lady I don't know what.... I don't man...." While sighing. Frustrated he handed the phone over. Not once was I rude or angry in tone while talking to him for the 30 seconds so what was he so frustrated about? Frustrated would be me showing up over there because he can't handle a simple transaction. The Manager, Ruben comes to the phone and I tell him what happened to which he tells me there is nothing they can do. I let him know all he has to do is cancel the transaction since the fleet account is already closed and re run the payment on my company credit card which our employee had in hand. He replies like he is shocked "oh, you have a credit card?" No, we were going to pay with our good looks. So he says "yea ok we will do that." He was extremely rushed as im trying to tell him we need a refund receipt/paper trail because this is for a business and he then hangs up on me as I'm in mid sentence, very unprofessional. All business transactions have to have a paper trail not to mention I don't trust them to do a simple task so I need proof of a refund. I just felt they were both unprofessional in the way they handled the mistake. To top it off, upon returning the paperwork that was given to our employee it was a completely different customer. So they voided someone else's all together not even ours. I called back and spoke to Donnie who was nicer this time around but let me know Javier did the void. I hadn't even spoken to this other person before as Ruben said he would do the void. Apparently he felt the need to pass it on and it was done wrong. Way to go. Ridiculous. I pulled into Jiffy Lube today to get a synthetic oil change. The guy that greeted me quoted $79.95 but said my car takes 7 quarts of oil and I'd have to pay $10.00 extra for each quart over 5 quarts. Also, to rotate the tires would be $19.95. I didn't stay because it was going to be a hour and a half. After I pulled away, I took out my owners manual and found out my car takes 4.7 quarts. I went down the road to Goodyear, and they did my 5 quart oil change for $69.95 and rotated the tires free. Saved myself around 50 bucks! Sorry Jiffy Lube, you should talk to your guys about finding out how much oil a car takes and being honest. read more
