The service was slow and very unprofessional. I was in my truck inside the bay for an oil change for 50 minutes with only 1 other vehicle in the bay. The workers were joking around with each other using profanity very loud (F-bombs). I will not be going back to this Jiffy Lube in Plano at 4144 W Spring Creek Parkway. Don't let these guys touch your car. Replaced cabin air filter and broke the mechanism that moves the air circulation lever. Couldn't figure out what happened after oil change and googled. Article states "did you let inexperienced mechanic change air filter? Check to see if they broke the mechanism. Instructions clearly state you must change setting to recirculate...if not and you forcibly move the mechanism you will break it." So I just checked...they broke it . The issue is the system knows it is broken and won't keep settings after you shut off truck. You know how frustrating it is to have to update air settings every time you drive? The fix looks like a ton of hours and $$ depending on how bad they broke it. Just updating 6 days after review: I received a quick response via Yelp the day review posted. I provided their contact info all details related to service and the issue within 24 hours. As of 5 days later no response or any details on remediation. So while Yelp shows prompt reply publicly...just know there is no resolution. read more

My unfortunate experience at this Jiffy Lube location on this date was so negative, I think it deserves attention: I went online yesterday and got a quote for 3 services to be performed on my vehicle today. When I got to the location, it was discovered, to my surprise, that the proof of insurance I was carrying was out of date. I had planned to leave my car there for the estimated one hour ("or less") that I was told to expect the work to take, but they told me they could not perform the work without the insurance proof being up to date. I completely understood this, so I locked my car and my ride drove me home, where I picked up my current insurance card and returned to the business. Please note: this business does not take appointments, so I was not walking away from any time slot they had reserved for me. When I got back, I noticed there were no cars waiting, so figured it would all go pretty quickly. I put my current insurance card and my key fob into the hand of one of the workers there, and told him I would return to pick up the car in about an hour. He said that would be just fine. I returned in just over an hour. My "ride" dropped me off and left. I was shocked to learn that no work had been completed. They told me they could not find my "keys". Then they told me my car had failed (3X) the emissions test, due to gas fumes escaping. My car had never had an issue before, and is relatively new. I asked them to show me what was not closing tightly on the gas cap; they could not; there was an audible "click" when I closed the lid. They could not explain why the other two jobs were not completed, except to keep saying something about my "keys". (They had my fob the whole time, and no other customers.) This did devolve into a bit of a yell fest, and I'm sorry for that (as they should be!), but these people were rude and very unprofessional. Oh, and they also had me drive off without my hood having been secured! Thankfully, my car is smart enough to have alerted me to this before I got out into traffic. !!!BUT here is the clencher...I drove 1/4 mile from there directly to the dealership where the car was purchased. They were quite confused by Jiffy Lube's claim that anything at all was wrong with the gas cap, but they did agree to do an emissions test on the vehicle for me. An hour plus later, my service tech handed me the results of the test. Absolutely nothing wrong. Passed all parts of the test without issue. This all cost me the better part of an entire afternoon, and I STILL need to take the car somewhere for the other two services. No, I certainly cannot recommend this particular location of Jiffy Lube. Others may be just fine, but I would not return to this location for any work, even with any amount of discount. read more

I'm not sure how I feel about this place. I wouldn't recommend coming here if you dont know about cars because you can get swindled (like all auto repair shops). When I came here to get an oil change I was treated very nicely and I had a pleasent experience. I didn't like it when they kept telling me there was issues with my car which they weren't so they can charge me more. Be careful about your air filters for your AC. Go to the auto shop next door and buy some for 3 dollars and install them yourself or else they'll change you over 10 dollars to do it for you. I got a 20% off discount because I work in healthcare which I appreciated! But they charged me a lot for an oil change I should have checked the prices before stepping into the shop. They cannot get into your car due to COVID but overall they keep all their customers safe. Would I go back? No really. I just needed a quick oil change and they are incredibly expensive even with coupons. They wanted me to come back when my car hits 3000k miles to top off my oil change for free. There was not a lot of jiffy at this Lube. It took them 40 minutes to change my oil with only 1 car in-front of mine. I had to go back because the next day all my check engine lights were on. worse service ever, I stopped by yesterday at 5:10pm plano location off Coit rd. I asked to get my tires checked because it was low. you can see it was pretty much flat and the guy said okay will check them. literally only put air on it and told me okay your good nothing is wrong with them, it could be the weather affecting them. I left doubting he had done anything to check for nails. This morning as I was driving my light turned on again! so here I am now a different tire shop and of course I had a nail on the tire that was flat. Visited location to fix a squeaky brake. They wrote me an estimate to replace my rotor, brake pads & belt. The sales person advised that it was very dangerous to drive my car and quoted my repairs almost 500. However, I got my belt replaced 2 months prior. When I told the sales mechanic that, he immediately removed it from my quote and still advised that is was very dangerous to drive. I felt like they were trying to upcharge so I got 2 second opinions. Both places advised that my pads were fine and it was a simple hardware fix that cost 45 dollars. I've been a long time customer and felt that I was taken advantage of. I typically go to the spring creek location but this experience definitely turned me off. read more

I went in today to have a tire rotation and an oil change. I have used this store for over a year now without issue until today. A gentleman ahead of me had the same service for his Nissan as I had for my Toyota. As he is checked out the technician tells him there is a 20 dollar coupon for these two services together. Last time I went there for oil change, my tires have a little crack on the metal part, so I asked them do I need to get a new tire, they could totally sell me a new tire since I don't know much about auto parts, but they said no needed and fixed it for only $20 . The exact same thing happened to me that it did to one of the previous commenters. They left my dip stick out of my pathfinder and my engine got covered in oil. My car stopped working a month later and apparently I needed a new alternator. According to google, that can be caused by getting oil on your alternator. I called jiffy lube and told them it was there fault and asked if they could fix it and they said "They don't fix cars, but they can give me a free oil change". I had to spend 2000 in repairs to get my car running again. I'm never trusting this company again. Honestly thinking about suing them for my 2000 dollars. read more

This place was great! I stopped in last Friday around 6:30pm and they got everything taken care of within 30 minutes. I called them because I found a $13 off coupon online. I gave them a quick call to make sure there was no wait. I arrived and they started servicing my car immediately. Super clean waiting room with coffee, massage chair, charging ports. The manager found out it was my first time and knocked $5 off as well!! Being a young woman, I feel like they normally take advantage of me, and upsell everything. I had to give a one star cause zero stars aren't available. The situation my fiancé just experienced at Jiffy Lube from their general manager, Chanse Odell, was so unprofessional and sexist and WE WILL NEVER BE USING THEM OR ANY JIFFY LUBE WITHIN THE DISTRICT AGAIN. She went in to have her (less than 6 month old) Mercedes Benz GLS450 ($76,000 MSRP) serviced before a last minute trip. Immediately after being serviced she noticed that one of her console buttons was missing. She called, went back & the manager became accusatory, aggressive, and dismissive. He claimed he couldn't do anything, that the issue wasn't their problem or fault and then started arguing with her and getting and attitude saying things like, "Oh you think we stole it?!" and when we asked for his district manager's information he said "I don't have that information" and later changed his story to "I can't give out that information". I HAD TO GOOGLE THE DISTRICT MANAGERS INFORMATION (Andrew Duffy) and am still waiting on a call or response from him. I I've never experienced anything so unprofessional in my life and was HIGHLY UPSET at the attitude and disrespect he showed to her and then changing his story on the words he said. The part is a $1,000 part and is only available through Mercedes. Chanse's "not my problem" demeanor, attitude towards others, and overall LACK of CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS was highly frustrating and I was very protective over my fiancé who was being preyed upon and taken advantage of by someone With the title of GENERAL MANAGER. I will be leaving this review on all platforms and will NOT be recommending ANY JIFFY LUBE to anyone anytime soon! SIDE NOTE: when my fiancé was speaking to one of the employees on site, they mentioned to her that this isn't Chanse's first incident and he had almost been let go before due to his lack of customer service skills and the way he would speak to customers that would come in there AND admitted that Chanse had anger issues. I responded to Chanse super upset and frustrated and was VERY EXPRESSIVE after him approaching her in this way and trying to take advantage of her due to her being a woman. Very pleased with these guys. I've gotten my oil changed here before because they offer a great special. I live in Allen so I had my oil changed by a different shop further north - the other shop strongly pushed me to replace my brake pads and told me it was urgent as I was going out of town that weekend. I decided to wait until later in the day and stop by this Jiffy Lube instead. The technician there, Jason, came in within 5 minutes and told me I didn't really need to change my brake pads yet unless I just really wanted to. Such an easy example of two different way that auto shops operate their business and treat their customers. I'll definitely be back when I DO need my brake pads replaced.
