A few years ago I had a disastrous experience at this location. The tech didn't put my oil cap back on and it was a complete mess. The general manager, Ahmad, came out to my home and fixed the situation and then went and washed my entire engine for me. He took care of my next oil change for me as well. So I go back today for a third time and Ahmed was still there and took great care of me. Even though they were a little busy I was still in and out of there in under 30 mins. They have definitely earned my business back. This is mainly due to the great customer service that Ahmad has provided me starting 2 1/2 years ago with personally making sure that my car was fixed after one of his guys made a mistake. Not a good place to get your oil done, I only gave one star so I can leave a comment. Every time I've come here witch was twice, The first time they try to upsell everything you don't want. my daughter came here also and they did the same thing. The second time the Kidd that tried to do my oil change drain my synthetic oil, and could not get my oil filter off and almost stripped the oil filter taking it off. Their excuse was they didn't have the correct tool for my vehicle. My answer was then why did you guys not tell me! I didn't appreciate the hard-core looks that I got from the females that work there also. They were looking at me like if this was my fault, I was very agitated. The whole purpose of this was to change the oil filter. The place I normally go to was closed, I had to go there the next day and have it done correctly. Jiffy lubed didn't charge me for the oil they put in. Not a good experience and I will never go back there, you all should do the same. read more

Worst experience I've ever had. I took in my car to get the transmission serviced and they ruined my whole transmission. They removed a bolt that should not have been touched for the procedure and denied they had anything to do with it or even give me my money back. Ahmad Johnson was the "tech" who serviced my car. After getting it inspected by a professional mechanic they discovered they removed a bolt holding my transmission internals, and my drain plug and fill plugged had never been touched. On top of that they didn't even put enough transmission fluid in it. It's been a month+ long headache trying to get my car fixed and it's all thanks to this joke of an establishment. There are far better places to take your vehicle in for maintenance. If i could provide a 0 I would. Don't waste your time and money. read more

Awesome experience, I used to bring my car to other places to get an oil change and this is the best place I've come to so far. The manager Ahmad was friendly and very informative with what was going on with my car. They were also hands on with showing me what my car needed and washed my windows and vacuumed the carpets :) He also gave me a discount off my whole total. Before I begin, yes I am a girl that brings her car in to get an oil change by herself, but no, I am not stupid when it comes to cars. Today I feel as though I was taken advantage of. This was the absolute WORST customer service I have ever had in my life. To begin, all I wanted was an oil change. They warned me that there was going to be an hour wait, and that was completely fine with me. I just wanted to drop off my car and go across the street to shop so that I was not sitting in the waiting room the entire time. Alfred made me sit in the waiting room for 30 minutes before I could leave because he "needed me to check in my car." After I checked in my car, I walked over to the 99 cent store across the street and came back 30 minutes later. My car was done on time and I was happy. Great! As I drove home, I noticed my windshield wiper fluid light was still on (something they said they would fill up and something that was included in the price of my oil change). Immediately I called and Alfred said "oh I never even opened the hood," then I drove all the way back. Alfred never once apologized when I arrived and never said one word to me, just motioned for me to open up my hood. As he filled my windshield wiper fluid, I began to read my receipt again. Also included in an oil change was a vacuum and exterior windshield wash, neither of which had been done. At this point I am LIVID. I got out of my car and asked if the vacuum and window clean was part of what I was paying for, to which Alfred responded "yeah, they didn't vacuum?" I asked for the owners number and gave him a call after I left as well. I am worried that the other things they told me they checked for were not actually checked. The only positive was the owner was extremely nice and apologetic, and offered to take care of the problem. I told him I do not want anything, no coupons, nothing. I will never be going back to their business again. Please steer clear of this place. They will rip you off, especially if you are a young girl bringing your car in. read more

Came in after my night shift, since it was down the street from work. I was overdue for an oil change. Operation hours posted are from 7a to 7p, I arrive at 0735, standing in the lobby, saying "hello" twice for someone in the office to acknowledge me. A female worker comes out and tells me that they're not open yet, but I see someone opening the garage stalls. Then she tells me to pull my car up front, the door wasn't opened for me to enter, so I had to walk around, only to be guided back to where I pulled up. I was getting irritated by now. Serviced my car quick, although I was the first customer of the day. Once my car was done, she asked, "are you ready?" as I was reading e-mails on my phone. RUDE! Customer service needs improvement--she possibly got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. But I didn't really expect much from her, because her demeanor was not professional at all. I wanted to snap back, but I kept it cool. I was out of there in about 15 minutes, and 15 minutes is all I'm giving this establishment. NEVER going back. A simple, conventional oil change should not piss me off, let alone, anyone. read more

Horrible customer service with lazy employees and liars. To avoid working they will give you false times so you believe their will be a long wait. I requested the owners info and they gave me a fictious number that goes straight to a recording and I left an email but I won't hold my breath for a response. Oh and to top it off Mary Hughes, the so-called manager for the day, stated they didn't want to work after 5 so basically she's stating 2 professionals can't change oil in 35 minutes or to afraid to work after closing. The worst jiffy lube ever!!!!!!!! No one here has a clue about customer service. I came here a year ago and they didn't bolt on my skid plate properly and it fell off. I told them about it and they did nothing!!!!! I had to write a complaint to corporate and finally got a call back. The district manager wanted me to call some guy at a dealership and schedule an appointment to find out what kind of skid plate to buy and then they would schedule ANOTHER appointment to install it, how bout this jiffy lube, you broke it, you fix it!!!! I don't have time to make appointments to replace what you damaged. Make it done. They never even apologized for the damage to make things worse. Now how stupid am I for coming back a year later to see if things have changed.... Nope! I've been sitting in the waiting room with no one else greeting an oil change and I've been here for almost 2 hours!!!! These people are the worst. They don't have the socket to change my filter??? Wtf???? Don't you change oil here?!! I would bet that they don't even change the filter and they will tell me they did. I will be checking and reporting back. Last word of advice to all getting an oil change in Redlands.... Don't come to this jiffy lube!!!!! They are THE WORST I have ever seen!!!!!!!!! I promise u will never be back. I'd been going there for years despite a loose oil plug potential disaster, improperly installed oil pan (lost my bolt), because I liked their fluid checks, tires checked, etc. I change oil every 3000 miles. The price varies each time I go there depending on who is on duty. It ranges from 90$ to 125$ depending on if they give you the internet coupon or not. The last time I went there 3000 miles ago the price was 20.00 cheaper. I told the new manager, a black guy----i forget his name--- that I was a regular and this price given me was higher than all previous receipts. I showed him the receipts. He totally blew me off and my loyalty and told me to call the manager owner listed on the sign on the counter. Turns out that number is someone else's number, a girl whio has nothing to do with jiffy lube party. So I emailed this supposed district manager instead in great detail....never got any response whatsoever. I asked them for his direct line and the insisted they didn't have it and that they only contact him by email themselves. What baloney. Smells of an owner or manager that has something to hide. I've put up with their sloppiness and random price charging long enough. Now I wonder if I've actually been getting synthetic oil like I've been charged for...they're supposed to wash windows and vacuum, but they cut corners. Hype! I'm done. Read the jiffy lube scams on Google. If you have a high end car get firm estimate in advance. Done! Any bs: file an online complaint with bureau of automotive repair and they do follow up on all matters. read more

When I arrived here I I saw a young African American gentlemen laying in the oil change area on the net he was laying in there with his hat covering his face wearing Nike shoes. Would give 0 score if that is an option. Took my car for an oil change . After that, i noticed oil leak coming from drain plug. Had to take my car again not just once but twice but they never diagnosed the problem nor fixed it. Took my car to another mechanic who found out that the drain plug was not secured properly. Took back the car to Jiffy lube asking them to fix it but they refused. Very annoyed by the customer service. No professionalism. Incomplete and poor job. No value for customer's time . They don't care about customer's inconvenience. After three trips with no proper solution for oil leak, I took my car to another mechanic .Guess what! i paid again for the oil change but they solved my oil leak problem . I should have avoided this place after reading so many negative reviews. I learned my lesson. I fell for this Jiffy Lube's scare tactics years ago. My vehicle had 26,000 miles on it and they said I needed more done than it needed. Were they dealing with a woman who looked like she didn't know about vehicles? Yes. Did I believe in Jiffy Lube's national reputation they could be trusted. Yes. Only when I got home, told my dad how lucky I was they caught the problems did I find out I had been ripped off. He showed me my maintenance book.....explained what was needed/required at 50,000 miles wasn't needed at 26,000. I was ashamed of myself for not knowing. Then thought....wait one minute. I don't have to know about plumbing to trust my faithful plumber, why do I have to know about cars to trust a place like Jiffy Lube. Yes, I called them, got information for Jiffy Lube's offices in Texas who sent me a check and an apology. They told me they would relay what happened to me to this JL in Redlands. I'm sad to read here at Yelp that this type of thing is still going on...pressuring customers into work they don't need....yet. read more

Scam artist! Took my car for a simple, basic, $20 inspection. Only went in because my normal mechanic was busy and I was on a time crunch. Big mistake!! I gave them the inspection sheet to fill out. Everything on the sheet was marked as passed, but the lady (I DO have her name) at the front said there was a noise being heard and they did not know what it was. She proceeded to walk me next door to Kellem's (another scam) to have them look at our car (what store employee personally walks you over to another shop). Kellem's looked my car and said there was a problem and he would fix it for $500. The Jiffy Lube girl said she would not pass my car until it was fixed, yet, there is nothing on the inspection sheet that even tells them to look at the engine. Everything on the sheet was passed. I was very suspicious, so took it to my guys this morning. They had a few guys look at it and there was absolutely nothing wrong with my car. Complete scam! There is no reason why Jiffy Lube should not have passed my car when everything on the sheet was cleared and there was nothing else asked of them. And to conveniently, personally walk me over to a mechanic who randomly diagnosis a problem that doesn't exist and says she will sign the paper at no charge if I have it repaired within a week, that's just way to suspicious. If Jiffy Lube is not in the scam business with Kellem's then this employee needs to be released of her position. Wasted $23. read more
