And my car is clean when I climb back in. And Jiffy Lube will top off your car for free, and check tires and other fluids, and vacuum, anywhere you go. Brought my car here yesterday and experience the best service you could get from a couple dudes. The guy that helped me had longish hair and was super chilled and explained everything I needed and not what they just wanted to sell. I got an oil change and my Serapin belt and what was great I found coupons and showed him at the payment time and what's great he already had them on hand so all I had to do was show him and bam applied and got 30 dollars off my purchase. This is the worst experience i have ever had! I always did my oil changes myself but a friend gave me a coupon for here so i came here, they werent very friendly they didnt great me like i was a human being i told them things i knew about my car and they thought that i didnt know what i was talking about, a few weeks later my oil light came on so i pulled into an orileys and then found out that my oil drain plug wasnt tightened and the oil filter seal wasnt sealed properly they didn't look at my air filter which is part of the deal and when my oil light came on and i looked it was 3 qts low!!!! I called the manager and they said they would get me a full refund but i dont know if theyll actually do it i will find out. read more

I went on Thursday, when their power was out. Even though this made things difficult they remained open and in service. I got my oil changed and because they weren't able to pump my usual grade I got a higher grade of oil at a discount. I also got a new battery, which was frustrating and difficult but they got it done (the huge arch of sparks at one point was very exciting). Somehow in replacing the battery my tail lights got blown out. I went back the next day and they replaced them for free. I was impressed both with the level of service even without power, and their ability to function. They treated me well, apologized often for the delay, and did everything they could to see I was taken care of. Car problems tend to paralyze me but they made the process fairly painless (for me at least) and I trust them enough to go back when my car is due for another oil change. read more

After going to the oil change place closest to my house for years (and getting both good and horrible service, depending on who's managing the place at the time), I took fellow Yelper's recommendations and tried this Jiffy Lube. First of all, let it be known I'm an 'old car guy', I've been changing oil in my cars for years, but my daily driver has the oil filter in a place that it's just easier to change if it's up on a rack, so I take it somewhere to get it done. These guys?? Wow. I found a coupon on the internet and off I went. I was greeted promptly (like most places), they went over what they do (like most places), but that's where the similarity ends. While I'm talking to the cashier person, the dude working on my truck has already removed my air filter for inspection. I thought 'uh-oh, here it comes' (trying to sell me everything from wipers to transmission service), the nice girl said "oh no...I wouldn't replace THAT yet". Really?? She pointed out that my truck was getting close to the point where some of the more spendy stuff needed to be done, but she didn't push it. I sat down in their waiting room, no more than 10 minutes went by and they were DONE. Topped off fluids, checked wipers, pointed out my burned out headlight, and sent me on my way, zero high pressure. The best part is, as I was paying, the owner/manager just happened by...shook my hand, and said "thanks for your business". If you 're tired of the old "you'd better pay us to do this or your engine will fall out" routine, try this shop, you won't regret it. read more

Honestly, it wasn't any different than the Jiffy Lube on 130th and Lake City. Either way, it wasn't an orgasmic experience, nor was it horrible. They changed my oil, vacuumed the interior, and cleaned my windows, just like they said they would. They also tried to get me to replace my air filter and cabin air filter, which I'm sure costs a ridiculous amount of money. But that's their job. My job is to figure out how to do all that stuff on my own on the Interwebs. read more

Overall I was pleased with the service and I would take my car here for an oil change again. The staff was friendly and performed the service in the time expected. My car took 5.7 quarts of fully synthetic oil and they changed the filter as well. I used the $15 off coupon from the Jiffy Lube website, and the final price came out to be $97. I guess the days are gone when you could get an oil change for $39.95. They also put air in the tires and topped off the wiper fluid and checked the level of transmission and power steering fluids. The only nit I have is that the receipt said that they had vacuumed the interior and washed the exterior windows when in fact they had not. I not sure whether they were supposed to or not, but confusing to say they did when they didn't. Since I wasn't expecting it I wasn't exactly disappointed, but still. Knocking off a star for the confusing non-window washing and vacuuming. Next time I'll ask. read more

Another if I could give -5 stars I would. I had been taken my blazer to this location for years. Well after the last visit there never again. Had oil changed. About a half day later noticed that I had oil was leaking on the ground. Did full inspection and found a small crack on the oil pressure unit. And that's right by the oil filter. Tok blazer back to this localation. Confrunted them. And low and behold my last service which was just the day before was deleted. I even had my recete. They denied everything they even denied me even being there. Even the guy that helped me the day before denied it. So I lefted fumming and after spending 120 extra dollors to replace the part at a better place. NEVER go to this location or jiffy lube at all. After this happened I did a littlw resurch and found they are or were being sued for lack of better terms very shotty service. read more

Absolutely awesome Jiffy Lube! Just had my truck's oil changed and had a few other services done as well. The girl (Jaque?) that sold me the other services was super cute and gave me an awesome deal that I couldn't refuse. I don't think I've ever seen such a cute girl working at a lube center in my life - smart move on the owners part! The staff seemed very courteous and knowledgeable and the prices for the services were lower than I was quoted from Green Care Auto in Wallingford. Super quick service, awesome prices and certified cutie. Needless to say I will return in the future. Highly recommend. read more

We live in this neighborhood and own four vehicles and have used this location numerous times over many years. What it comes down to is the quality of service is dependent on which employees are working that day. I took my SUV in yesterday for oil and filter change. Came home, left 2 hours later for an appointment and received a call from my husband that there was a very large pool of oil in the driveway. He met me and we changed cars so he could bring mine back as it had lost a lot of oil. The workers put the oil plug in the hole but did not tighten it. THIS IS THE THIRD TIME THIS LOCATION HAS DONE THIS TO THIS VEHICLE! I went back today as I wanted to talk to the manager. The same girl who was working yesterday was there again. I told her I wanted to talk to the manager. I asked numerous times for the manager's name and phone number, which she wouldn't give me without a reason why. Then she said," oh, your the lady whose oil plug wasn't put in. Your husband brought the car back and I fixed it." When I kept asking for the manager's name and number she said she would call the police and have me removed from the location. All I did was ask for manager's name and number. A young man in the office was there, I said to him "you are my witness that all I want is manager's name and number." He said nothing. She finally gave me a phone number, but it turned out to be that location's number and as I already knew, the manager wasn't there. Her reaction today leaves little doubt in my mind as to whom did not put the oil plug back in correctly. It should also be noted that while I was there having my oil changed this same girl came in to the waiting area (3 people waiting) and started talking about the Acura. I thought she was talking to the woman next to me but apparently it was me. I told her I didn't own an Acura that I had a Nissan Armada, she said all A cars were the same to her. Disconcerting as large SUV's take more oil. I should have known there would be a problem. read more

I have had a mixed bag of results with this particular location over the last 6 years that I have been doing business with them, which really appear to be based solely on whether they are dealing with a man or a woman as a customer. When dealing with me (a man), they are quick, courteous, and any issue I have had with little leaks or minor quality of work issues have been taken care of immediately and without recurrence, regardless of which of the 3 cars we own we were dealing with. When dealing with my girlfriend and just her car, she has never gotten an oil change or service here that hasn't required me to either make a mechanical adjustment to the drain plug / oil filter, or major clean-up off of the engine block or something else to keep the block from smoking when you drive. On several occasions, the pit guys have also flat-out stated that the transmission pan or transmission fluid was the problem, but when checked out by myself, my regular mechanic, and my transmission shop we all have found nothing but oil and leaks around oil seats. This last time through put the last nail in the coffin for us with this location. The mess I have to now clean up in my driveway from their sloppy work and the poor service attitude I received over the phone doesn't balance out in any way for the convenience of not having to blow an hour of a rainy Sunday doing this work myself. read more

The young guys are very friendly and schooled me on the usual upkeep but no pressure to get it done there and offered discounts if I chose to have them do any of it. Great. read more

I got a basic oil change done here last week before leaving town on a long trip. My tire pressure light had come on so I also wanted the pressure checked before the trip. The receipt I was given clearly states that they checked the tire pressure in the front and back and that it was at the standard 32psi for both. After leaving on my trip the tire pressure light remained on. I had to pull off and check the tire pressure at a gas station. My driver's side rear tire was down to 15psi. Obviously my tire pressure was never checked, so now I have to wonder what else was skipped, and if I just paid $30 for nothing. Obviously this was a very dangerous mistake that could have caused an accident. I was lucky I had a tire pressure light or I might not have immediately noticed the mistake. I wouldn't have anything done to your car here that you aren't planning on having double checked at another place....so just save yourself the hassle and worry and go somewhere else. read more

On November 9th, I decided I wanted to go get my oil changed. I drove all over looking for 10-40W oil, only to find out that Jiffy Lube doesn't carry it anymore. So I finally decided that I would just go ahead and use 10-30W oil this time. I went to this location only to find out, that they didn't even carry that weight oil. They had already started draining my oil so I ended up going next door to buy my own oil. I was disappointed to find out that Jiffy Lube can only offer me a $1 discount for using my own oil. They were doing a customer appreciation so I did get an additional $12 off but still was disappointed that I had to buy my own oil to get the desired result I wanted for my truck. I have never had a problem with Jiffy Lube and I appreciate the service they offer. The people at this location are wonderful and the 3 other locations I went to that day also! I was just very disappointed that Jiffy Lube is now not giving their customers the choice of which oil they wish to use in their own vehicles. Please Jiffy Lube, give the customers some options! Some of us do know what's best for our vehicles! That's part of owning a car, we get to choose! So please please please, at least offer more options for your clients on what weight oil they can have in their vehicles. We would much appreciate it! read more

I took my car in today, a 2008 Nissan Altima, for a simple oil change. Got in quick, there was no wait etc etc. The technician went through all the options for an oil change on a "high Mileage" car....all of which I declined, because I was low on funds. Anyway, about 3-5 minutes after I had sat down, a technician comes to me and says that they can't do the oil change, because there is a crack in the oil pan. Hmmmm!!! This is odd, because the car is not leaking oil, and never has. They also said that it had some sort of putty around the crack, which I didn't even know I had, and I doubt that I do. I refused the "High Mileage" oil change, so my feeling is that they didn't even want to work on it because of that...which is crap!! At no time, ever, has anyone put putty around the oil pan. So, even though this place is really close to home, I will be taking my business elsewhere, because I think that this is a service that can be done. read more

Ok....so here is the deal....Im going to make this quick and to the point. Last weekend I went into this location to get my oil changed.. Upon arrival and further inspection it came to my attention that I was due for a transmission fluid flush. I told the guy, "no thanks I will do it on the next visit" he talks me into it by saying "I can get u $20 off on sundays because it is usually slow" shame on me for being persuaded. So after waiting about an 1hr total.(which i didn't mind) everything was honky dorey, i paid the man and went on my way. I didn't even get an exit away on the freeway before i could tell something was horribly wrong. My engine was smoking and passerbyers were signaling i was leaking something out of my engine. I managed to pull off the road, popped the hood and my entire engine was covered in transmission fluid. Well lucky for me I was blessed with the work of idiots. They didn't tighten down the 1 fitting they remove when they flush the system. Sooooo.....I get my truck towed back to jiffey lube for them to solve the problem. Upon my arrival the manager was very sorry and covered everything regarding towing and mechanics being paid. Well he topped off the tranny fluid and right before i was ready to leave the engine begain to knock.. At this point i told the manager i was calling the tow truck company back and having my truck delivered to my mechanic downtown.. I waited 45min and boom...towtruck arrives and were on our way.....took a couple of days to get my truck back from my mechanic...OVERALL EXPERIENCE=NIGHTMARE...IF ANY EMPLOYEES OF JIFFEY LUBE HAPPEN TO READ THIS, TAKE PRIDE IN YOUR WORK. I could've handled this situation much differrent but didn't. Actions have consequences. The next guy may not be as nice as I was.. U guys not doing your job cost me 5hrs of my sunday..DO NOT GO TO ANY JIFFEY LUBE....... read more
