I used to get annoyed coming here at first because after your oil change they would take you to your car and lift the hood and try to sell you other services, every time!!. But now I ask for my usual and they already know what I need, and they are fast. This has nothing to do with the service people or customer service rep, this is strictly for their Owner/Corporate personnel. The service was fine, however their prices are borderline criminal, nearly $50.00 higher then the local Chevy dealer, Mtn View Chevrolet. Like a fool I paid nearly $110.00 for a synthetic oil change this past Saturday for my Traverse, Mtn View Chevy does it for $59.99, I should have walked but needed it done, I have no problem paying an extra $20.00 but $50.00 is criminal. It was 20 years since the last visit to a JL and it won't ever happen again. JL should be ashamed for taking advantage of the public, I'll be spreading the word all over Face Book and social media. read more

Against my better judgement due to past terrible experiences with other Jiffy Lube locations, I decided to give the Upland (Store #1876 - Benson/Foothill) Jiffy Lube location a try on 07/05/16. About a year ago, the Rancho Cucamonga location broke the oil filter housing canister on my 2010 Toyota Corolla and blamed it on a rock. I did not argue and bought the replacement part on Amazon (5-times cheaper than buying at Jiffy Lube) and had it professionally installed by a non-Jiffy Lube mechanic. I even bought the tool that is made for the specific canister. On 07/05/16 while at the Upland Jiffy Lube, I explained that the Rancho location had broken the part before and it was recently replaced. I offered the tool to the mechanic and manager that I had purchased for the canister; however, they said they have the correct tool and did not need mine. You guessed it, THEY BROKE THE CANISTER and said it needs to be replaced. They also convinced me, through very tactful scam artistry, that my cabin air filter needed to be replaced. When I said no, the mechanic showed me an air filter (unknown if it was even mine) with what appeared to be contents of their vacuum bag placed in a pile on top. He went on to say I possibly have a rat in my vehicle. As I was in a hurry, I unfortunately bought off on his scam and paid $49.99 for this filter (same filter is $8.04 on Amazon). After this terrible experience/scam continued to plague my thoughts, I investigated. I opened the cabin air filter box and found ZERO signs of any varmint infestation or habitation. It was spotless. Furthermore, there would have been no way that the cabin air filter could have been removed without the large pile of debris either falling off or leaving remnants on my floor board and/or in the glove box. Also, the so called "rats nest" was on the top of the air filter... this is impossible as the air flow travels up and would have blown the light weight debris (carpet fuzz, small chips of leaves, etc) through the A/C system. The carpet fuzz wasn't even the color of my interior nor were there any areas under the hood or inside the dashboard that appeared to have been disturbed or destroyed by a rat. Jiffy Lube has been investigated several times in the past for all sorts of scams. These stories can be found with a simple google search. This is the first time I have ever posted on YELP but I know I am not the only victim of Jiffy Lube's fraudulent activity. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY JIFFY LUBE AND I WILL NEVER RETURN!!! read more

I have probably brought my vehicles here over 2 dozen times. Every time you have to ask them to take the 10 dollars off that they advertise and then they play stupid and say oh its like that already and on the receipt its know where in sight. Some times they say it's on a fleet acount so they can't do that cause I get a discount of 10 % already but when I have them do it with out a fleet acount it's the same. Where is the Managers special $10 off? Now $78 Supposably with the discount that makes no sense. I paid $68 last time and they won't look it up to prove it. I've been going to this Jiffy Lube for three years off and on now, and never have had a bad experience. They provide me with the recommended services, but they don't shove them down my throat. My last visit was on a Saturday morning, I was the 6th car in the driver bay... I was still in-and-out within 30 minutes. They never give me any nonsense about my coupons (unlike the JL's in Fullerton and Anaheim). My first visit here 3 years ago, Cesar checked me in and took care of me. I still see him off-and-on and every time he greets me by first name. It's comforting because I feel that he respects me as a customer and I'm not going to get ripped off here. If I could do a double minus zero I would. Went to Jiffy Lube on Groupon even though friends and fam had said that they suck. Now I'm out of an additional $175 for repair the damage they did and they didn't even change the oil I had paid for. First they broke my dipstick so I had to pay to have the broken dipstick removed and replace. Fortunately we took care of the next day because verbs mechanic discovered that there was no oil in the vehicle. Continued driving would have cost us thousands of dollars to replace the engine. When we went back to have them put the oil in there was no apology and no to to refund the money for the work not done the day before. Never again. I'd rather go to Walmart. read more

Wow! I was really impressed. I came in for an oil change, needed new wiper blades and air in my tires. They handled it all in 15 minutes. I'm so happy! They also give you free oil in between oil changes if your oil gets low in between services. This is where I'm going from now on. :) read more

Based on my experience from this location, they recommend services that I didn't need. I was ripped off on a oil change and the manager promised me a free oil change which I never got. I have seen several undercover investigations regarding "jiffy lube" ripping customers off. From my personal experience at this his location it has happenec to me. I took my Prius there for an oil change and a free cabin air filter (they forgot it the last time). My low tire pressure light was on and I ask them to make sure and fill the tires (one had a slow leak). As I was driving away I got maybe 1/2 a block when ALL of the warning lights on my dash lit us p. I pulled over and called then to tell them what happened. They sent someone who didn't know and said they were closing the shop and couldn't help. I had to have it towed to the dealer and leave it overnight only to find out the next day that all of that happened because someone left the car in the on position and it drained my gas engines battery (it's a hybrid). I took the reciept and the guy behind the counter who had helped me the previous day, said that they were not at fault and even went so far as to lie and say my low battery light was on! He made a copy of my receipt and said his district manager would call, and guess what I never heard from anyone. I even left a message at the main office and never got a call back. Not reliable, will never go there again! read more

This place ALWAYS wants to push the synthetic oil instead of the conventional oil. I've been using conventional oil on my Jeep since the first year it was made in 2000!!! Never had any issues with conventional oil and now all of the sudden "it's not recommended" haha! Come on guys. I was born at night, but not last night. How can it NOT BE RECOMMENDED when conventional oil is all I've ever used for the last 18 plus years. After being told at another Jiffy Lube not far from here that they had no idea which filter my car took, I called this location and spoke to Caesar. Cesar is the assistant manager and was absolutely wonderful. He kept the doors open for me as it was close to closing and got my car in and out in no time. He was so kind and accommodating.
