Went in for a re-inspection after paying almost $500 to fix the exact thing they failed me for. I brought the invoice. The inspector wouldn't look at it, kept telling me to be quiet, and called me an idiot when I tried explaining the issue. When I said I'd take it to another station, he came right up in my face and called me a fa**ot, a junkie with a shit vehicle, along with some other slurs, then told me he was going to put my plate in the system so I could never pass anywhere. I have that allll on video. When I asked for the surveillance footage to show the RMV and report this station, one of his employees grabbed a tire iron and ran at me. Its the guy who is always wearing kneepads. Other employees had to physically hold him back. Then the inspector called the police and told them I had threatened him -- I have video of him coaching another employee to "say he threatened to hurt us." Police came, wouldn't pull the footage, and I got trespassed by the guys, which I wanted anyway cause no chanc I would ever go near that place again. I've filed a complaint with the RMV. Do not go here, especially alone.

So I agreed to replace the four tires later that week. They called me Monday to let me know they would be calling for pricing and would get back to me, and they actually did! They offered me pricing and three quality of tires, and they gave me the pros and cons of all three. I went with the Michelin and I got an immediate rebate of $80 off each tire! That's a lot of money! It's because they do so much volume, they can offer discounts. They arranged for me to drop my car off on Wednesday, provided a loaner car and it was ready by 4pm that day. They also warned me I would be needing brakes, which again I suspected but was not wanting to pay for all of these repairs at once. I asked if I could delay it by a month and they said yes, and it's been three weeks and my brakes are definitely in need of replacement. I'll be going back to them next week! That is very important if you have a budget so there are no surprises when you get the bill. Every mechanic there does a great job and I have never had any problems at all after having a problem fixed. Each mechanic will go over your bill with you to explain what he did when you pick up your car. Also, they take the time to listen to and to explain all. I was surprised to see her negative comments and questioned if this happened at this location. I say that because she ends with that there is Gulf station across the street. The Massachusetts Turnpike (and a bridge to get over it as part of the Newton Corner rotary) are across the street. There is a Honda dealer to the left and a Dunkin Donuts and liquor store to the right. There isn't a Gulf station nearby...the closest is probably three miles west in West Newton. I believe the customer who wrote the bad review is mistaken about the station and visited another station.
