I have had it with this slop chute. I ordered a sandwich h with.no tomatoes extra cheese and no vinegar. I now have a very measly item consisting of tomatoes no cheese and vinegar. So here I am on the Yelp page for Jimmy John's that says open until 9:00 PM yet the local chain closes at 7:30. Big problems in leadership especially if you are a franchise location. It is a shame great sandwiches have bad leadership running marketing and communications. Off to Subway where consistency I can can count on. I can say ....this is one of the best veggie clubs I've had in the area. Stuffed full of cheese, veggies and avocado. This sandwich was thick. The pickle was crisp and juicy, full of flavor and the chips....fantastic, homemade, and not to thick, crunchy goodness. I have tried most of the sandwiches and have never been disappointed. I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to the store and most important to Alanis and Shantall. In this time that we are going thru where everyone is on edge with the pandemic, this story needs to be told. I went inside to order my lunch (#12, best sando ever) and apon completion of my sandwich, said my thank you's and exited the store as we are still not allowed to eat inside the store. Once I got back out to my truck..... I realized that both my keys and my phone were locked inside it! I went back inside the store and asked if they had a phone I could use......without hesitation Alanis said; "here" you can use my phone. Now with all the negativity going on right now.....this was a great act of kindness. After using her phone to call triple A, I said thank you and proceeded to walk outside to wait for triple A. Again without hesitation Alanis and Shantall asked if I wanted to wait inside (as it was 110 outside). The girls even let me eat inside while I was waiting and gave me water to go with my meal. Every time we see a Jimmy John's we eat there because we love jimmy John's! We don't live near one so we don't get to eat it often. What we love about it is their fresh baked bread! Sooo good and soft. Also something about the sauces they use soo good too. So different from subway. One time I got the 16 inch and it's huge! And it cost me about $16.79, but it's so worth it. I ate some and saved some for later and it was a little soggy at the end, but still so good. I highly recommend this place and would even order for a party. And I'm not a sandwich person, but I love their sandwiches Oh and you have to try their bbq chips. Again I'm not a bbq chip person, but it's bomb. The JJ Gargantuan is MUST TRY (especially with extra hot peppers)! What really brought this LQ Jimmy Johns together was their employees. So...I have to revise my rating based solely on the past 8 months of service..or lack thereof. First, the meats, sauces ,chips are delicious. That is, if you actually get what you ordered! A little history, I work at Costco LQ, nearly every Saturday my wife or kids get me a Vito, or Italian sub as a treat after lunchbox lunches all week. The last 8 out of 15 sandwiches have Not been what was ordered. Either not enough oil and vinegar, or missing peppers or mustard, and even one came without Bread! A week ago Saturday, unopened my weekly sandwich with NO peppers, or mustard, but with Tomatoeswhich make me sick. My co worker who was eating there on my recommendation opened her sandwich and couldn't eat it. Not close to what she asked for, instead of extra oil and vinegar there was none! When we both went to complain after work, my co worker had her sandwich and I had a receipt. IN fairness when the owner is there, he makes sure things are done to expectations, and knows my wife by face. When we presented him with our concerns, I mentioned one of 70 hours a week between 2 jobs and I look forward to the weekly treat. His reply...Well I work 100, what's your point? At that point, I told him it was not a competition, and I would no longer shop in his store! He was confounded as to my irritation. I walked out, later my co worker told me, he looked at her, thinking she was my wife, even though we clearly explained who we were at the outset, and said, "what"? "Why are you still here, your husband left." When she explained again, the issue he remade her sandwich even though he berated her for njot having a receipt. She was afraid to eat it and tossed it when she got home. Neither her or I will spend a dime at the La Quinta store again. Sad, since my family spends 4 to 5 hundred dollars a year there. read more

I visited the Reno-Tahoe area this summer and after a long hike we stopped in Jimmy Johns.. The employees were pleasant and the sandwiches were great.. On my drive home to Southern California I stopped back in. My thoughts wee I wanted one more excellent sandwich! I had never heard of Jimmy John's before. So when I arrive home I discovered there's one in my town.. Of course I moved here only a year ago.. This evening I went to the La Quinta location.. Family members and Yelpers rave about this place, but my sister and I felt it was truly overrated. I hear that some locations are better than others but it's a chain so how could that be? I ordered a #12 or #13- I forgot exactly which one, but it was a Club sandwich with 2x the meat or cheese. Anyways, it was a turkey sandwich with provolone, tomato, sprouts, avocado spread, mayo and sprouts. I asked for no cheese and no mayo. This was supposed to come on whole grain bread, but i was told to get the sub bread because it's "that good". It wasn't "that good" the bread was okay and seemed undercooked. It didn't seem like my sandwich had double meat either. I felt it was a bit skimpy on meat. In addition, the turkey was round slimy slices, like the spackaged Hillshire farms stuff you get in thw grocery store. I'm not sure what is in the avocado spread, couldn't really taste it as there was a thin layer spread in the middle of the sandwich. The lettuce is shredded finely and you can get tomatoes, onions and sliced cucumbers if you wish. A bonus is that they also offer sprouts which is nice. For some reason, they couldn't give us mustard in a condiment container. I had to give my sandwich back to get mustard added to it. I was also a little perturbed because I paid $8.09 for a sandwich that just didn't seem like my money's worth. i talked to the manager and he ended up refunding my $8.09 and charging me $5.99 which is the price of the sub. He was very nice, apologized and seemed sincere. In general, the sandwich was not great and I don't think I'd stop into this place; other sandwich places are better and more reasonably priced. read more

We ordered a number 4 Turkey Tom with avocado added. When we got home the sandwich had very little to no meat and the avocado was extremely skimpy. The following morning I contacted the manager, Peter, who insinuated that I was lying about my experience. I am extremely disappointed and upset since I have been a good customer for a long time. This is how I knew that the product was not up to their standards. I asked for a replacement but the manager, Peter, refused and offered a 15% discount instead! This was ridiculous and unacceptable! Good Job Peter! You single handedly lost a long time customer! Mistakes happen, but when you refuse to accept and acknowledge them, not to mention that you inferred that they were lying, then you lose credibility! If there were negative stars you would have earned them! ** Update - Nick the owner called and was a complete professional. He apologized and made it clear that the way they handled it was not appropriate and up to his standards.
