On my third visit I finally figured out how turn the standard subs into something really tasty--stack on items from the "free" menu. Dijon mustard, lettuce or sprouts, and especially the peppers. The peppers are spicy and flavorful and are the real secret ingredient and they will provide them on the side if you want. Also, comfortable indoor seating. read more

Just ordered Delivery tonight from JJ in LQ and it was literally at my front door 13 mins after I hung up my phone!!! they aren't lying when they say Freakishly Fast!!!! Whoever says these subs are just "subs no big deal" ur drunk and have poor taste! These subs are Amazing!!!!!! Super full of ingredients and they are not shy with the meat! JJ's is my favorite sandwich shop. I love the bread and I love the delivery. I tell everyone how yummy the sandwiches are.

Horrible sandwich!! So the bread gets cut halfway through the roll which causes the meat to not fit on the roll fully without being rolled up. So you eat a bit of meat then a bit of onion with lettuce. Second the bread was missing the bread on the inside. Why would a restaurant remove the inner bread when you order a sandwich that you asked to be on bread? Doesn't make sense to me. Third, the remaining bread I had, was hard. Rubbery tasting. No way this is fresh made bread. No flavor in the sandwich which is bad seeing as though I ordered an Italian. Feel like I wasted 11$ on a bad lunch. read more

I've gone to Jimmy John's almost weekly, but the last time will be my last. The girl at the register was so rude, I would ask to add condiments to my sandwich and she would say it's already on there, she would point at the sign 10 feet above my head to look at what's on the sandwich. I clarified the additions and extras since I hate getting home with stuff missing. She rolled her eyes when I wanted to make sure. My girlfriend and I came in today to try out Jimmy John's, I've heard nothing but great things from this chain and wanted to check it out. I ordered a 8 inch sub which is the tuna sub, and my girlfriend ordered an 8 inch turkey sub. The atmosphere was excellent, nice, cozy and modern feeling and the employees greeted us as we entered the place which is always nice. But the food on the other hand. My sandwich was mostly all lettuce, and so was my girlfriends. I don't mind paying $20 for lunch but when it's mostly all lettuce, I'd rather do it myself and pay maybe $5. I'm not against lettuce, I just wish my sandwich had more of what I should already have on there. read more

I was first introduced to jimmy John's when I moved to Seattle, and now that I have moved back it's awesome that I'm able to enjoy jimmy John's here in the desert. There's nothing like a sandwich that is mad with the freshest of meats and freshest ingredients. As well being greeted by the nice friendly staff every time I go in and enjoy a sandwich. Their promotion sign says $1.00 subs from 11 to 3. I arrived at 2:00 to find a long line but I had parked a long way away and driven several miles to get there. After a 15 minute wait in line I ordered a 8" sub $5.95 and a Slim $4.95. The cashier said I needed 2 people to order 2 subs. I said this was the first notice that it was one per customer. I am 78 years old and my wife is 68. I told the cashier that my wife was in the car and she said that she needed to come in. That meant that I would have to walk to my car, get my wife and stand in line again. The subs are ok but not worth the trouble. I left and I will never go back again. I also hate that they will not put mayo on one of their Slim subs. They will give you mayo packs but will not put it on for you. I will go to Jersey Mikes in the future where I can have any sub made any way I want. I also tried to order delivery but I was told that I am out side of the delivery area of one mile. I checked the milage to my home and it is 1.6 miles and one of the only home areas near the store. The store is in a large business area with no homes within the 1 mile radius. I asked the manager about delivery and he said the company sets the delivery area and my home is about 25 feet outside. I have had The Palm Desert store deliver to my work and it is 3 to 4 miles away. Another reason to never go back again. Too many good sub place to have to put up with their rules read more

I have never had Jimmy Johns but my daughters love it. I called to have it delivered since I was waiting on my other daughter to get dropped off. They took me address and said they don't deliver there. I live a half block out of their "delivery area" and that was told to me by the driver!!!! I was going to give the driver $10.00 for the delivery. After my daughter got dropped off we went to Subway!! I still haven't had Jimmy Johns and I'm just fine with that. I feel that if you say you deliver then you should be able to get that service since I live in the same city. I will never go there because of my first experience!!!!
