I've been bringing my business here to eat with my family for a few yrs now. The staff would always be friendly and obviously the sandwiches made are awesome good. But i am very unhappy with the experience i had yesterday. I ordered sandwiches for my family, My 6yr old son comes in from the car and tells me dad i have to go pee pee. I asked can my son use your restroom. They all turned around and said NO!!! WE ARE STRICT NOW. I said but we've been here the last few weeks and it wasn't a problem. Their response to me was, SORRY!!! not anymore as of last week. Now i understand due to the covid 19 everyone is worried about catching it. The problem i have is, you have 4 people working in the back with you and not busy at all but talking and having fun. You mean to tell me one of the employee's can't go to the restroom and sanitize it whenever in use?. I mean those that are working there go to their homes and are with other people that may be asymptomatic to the virus and bringing it to the business. My son couldn't hold it any longer and went pee pee on himself. I was very upset and i will not going back ever again. My family and i will have TKB in indio as the best sandwich business. They put signs all over the place letting you know due to the covid 19, our restrooms are closed to the public etc. Jimmy johns, you just lost 6 customers for good. The owner needs to go in and retrain his employee's on a case by case situation. read more

Please Baby Jesus, don't let this place go down hill. This place rocks and I am going to say that it is because of the staff. I mean the subs are subs. Not mind blowing but good bread and good ingredients. The staff really is where it is at. They are super friendly and super fast! They should be ashamed to charge $8 for bread lettuce and mayo sandwich. I could have done that at home and saved $. Ordered a simple turkey and provolone, lettuce and mayo only. I saw her scoop out the bread to make a hole for contents, which is fine. But 2 slices of turkey, 2 cheese slices on a huge roll? I got it home, took a look and wrapped it back up to go back! When they opened in La Quinta. JJ's was the best sandwich in town. Has been fine, but not cheap. Today was our final lunch, and judging by how few customers, we are not alone in our thinking. SO expensive, and where is that "bread baked every four hours?" $3.00 for granson to get a tiny bun with ONE slice of cheese rolled up. Mine 6.99 for a sandwich so thin that I kept double-checking! One thin slice of cheese on mine as well - one thin, on a thick french roll. I had some meat, etc, but not enough to make it a really good sandwich. If cutting portions because so slow, bad decision. On my third visit I finally figured out how turn the standard subs into something really tasty--stack on items from the "free" menu. Dijon mustard, lettuce or sprouts, and especially the peppers. The peppers are spicy and flavorful and are the real secret ingredient and they will provide them on the side if you want. Also, comfortable indoor seating. read more

Literally the Best Sandwich place I've ever eaten at!!!!! I was so bummed when I moved back to the Desert from Omaha Nebraska because I loved the jimmy johns around the corner being my quick lunch stop on my way to work! When I moved back I bragged and bragged....... So you can imagine my excitement when they came out here to the valley!!! Just ordered Delivery tonight from JJ in LQ and it was literally at my front door 13 mins after I hung up my phone!!! they aren't lying when they say Freakishly Fast!!!! Whoever says these subs are just "subs no big deal" ur drunk and have poor taste! These subs are Amazing!!!!!! Super full of ingredients and they are not shy with the meat! That Beach club is the love of my life!!! (Sorry husband)! And Brandon who helped not only took our order but delivered it too!He had super good suggestions he was very accommodating and just over all sounded like he new exactly what he was doing, Great personality and super friendly! JJ's is my favorite sandwich shop. I love the bread and I love the delivery. I tell everyone how yummy the sandwiches are.

Horrible sandwich!! So the bread gets cut halfway through the roll which causes the meat to not fit on the roll fully without being rolled up. So you eat a bit of meat then a bit of onion with lettuce. Second the bread was missing the bread on the inside. Why would a restaurant remove the inner bread when you order a sandwich that you asked to be on bread? Doesn't make sense to me. Third, the remaining bread I had, was hard. Rubbery tasting. No way this is fresh made bread. No flavor in the sandwich which is bad seeing as though I ordered an Italian. Feel like I wasted 11$ on a bad lunch. read more

I've gone to Jimmy John's almost weekly, but the last time will be my last. The girl at the register was so rude, I would ask to add condiments to my sandwich and she would say it's already on there, she would point at the sign 10 feet above my head to look at what's on the sandwich. I clarified the additions and extras since I hate getting home with stuff missing. She rolled her eyes when I wanted to make sure. My girlfriend and I came in today to try out Jimmy John's, I've heard nothing but great things from this chain and wanted to check it out. I ordered a 8 inch sub which is the tuna sub, and my girlfriend ordered an 8 inch turkey sub. The atmosphere was excellent, nice, cozy and modern feeling and the employees greeted us as we entered the place which is always nice. But the food on the other hand. My sandwich was mostly all lettuce, and so was my girlfriends. I don't mind paying $20 for lunch but when it's mostly all lettuce, I'd rather do it myself and pay maybe $5. I'm not against lettuce, I just wish my sandwich had more of what I should already have on there. read more

Their promotion sign says $1.00 subs from 11 to 3. I arrived at 2:00 to find a long line but I had parked a long way away and driven several miles to get there. After a 15 minute wait in line I ordered a 8" sub $5.95 and a Slim $4.95. The cashier said I needed 2 people to order 2 subs. I said this was the first notice that it was one per customer. I am 78 years old and my wife is 68. I told the cashier that my wife was in the car and she said that she needed to come in. That meant that I would have to walk to my car, get my wife and stand in line again. The subs are ok but not worth the trouble. I left and I will never go back again. I also hate that they will not put mayo on one of their Slim subs. They will give you mayo packs but will not put it on for you. I will go to Jersey Mikes in the future where I can have any sub made any way I want. I also tried to order delivery but I was told that I am out side of the delivery area of one mile. I checked the milage to my home and it is 1.6 miles and one of the only home areas near the store. The store is in a large business area with no homes within the 1 mile radius. I asked the manager about delivery and he said the company sets the delivery area and my home is about 25 feet outside. I have had The Palm Desert store deliver to my work and it is 3 to 4 miles away. Another reason to never go back again. Too many good sub place to have to put up with their rules read more

I was first introduced to jimmy John's when I moved to Seattle, and now that I have moved back it's awesome that I'm able to enjoy jimmy John's here in the desert. There's nothing like a sandwich that is mad with the freshest of meats and freshest ingredients. As well being greeted by the nice friendly staff every time I go in and enjoy a sandwich. I have never had Jimmy Johns but my daughters love it. I called to have it delivered since I was waiting on my other daughter to get dropped off. They took me address and said they don't deliver there. I live a half block out of their "delivery area" and that was told to me by the driver!!!! I was going to give the driver $10.00 for the delivery. After my daughter got dropped off we went to Subway!! I still haven't had Jimmy Johns and I'm just fine with that. I feel that if you say you deliver then you should be able to get that service since I live in the same city. I will never go there because of my first experience!!!!
