I've always known Jimmy John's has great sandwiches, but I have to give them a shout-out for something new! Ever since I moved closer to a location, I'm there at least 10 times a month. During my son's long hospital stays, I was probably there 15+ times because it was quick, fresh, and one less thing to worry about. Last weeks I finally tried their new house-made lemonade, and WOW! They have a Classic Lemonade and a Strawberry Lemonade. As a '90s baby, Hot Dog on a Stick lemonade has always been my favorite, but now that I'm getting older, it's honestly become a little too sweet for me. Jimmy John's classic house-made lemonade is the perfect alternative. It's refreshing, balanced, and not overly sweet. I'm allergic to strawberries, so I won't be trying the strawberry lemonade, but if you do, let me know how it is! I really hope Jimmy John's keeps these lemonades around and even adds more flavors in the future because I think they'd be a huge hit. Until then, I'll definitely be back for that classic lemonade! I was very excited to try the only Jimmy John's in the Sacramento area. I downloaded the app which was easy to use. Orders can be scheduled ahead of time and was ready promptly. Parking was easy with a lot of spaces available. The restaurant was clean and well lit. There is a designated shelf for pick up items. I had the Italian wrap which was the best wrap that I have ever had. I am biased because I love the flavors of an Italian wrap but the wrap itself was on the thin side and not overly "bready" which is my preference. The wrap was large enough for two meals. I placed an online order the night before and received confirmation that it had been accepted. The following morning, I also received a notification indicating that my order was being processed. When I arrived at the store to pick up my order, I was met by an employee who was immediately rude and hostile. As I attempted to explain that I would have appreciated being notified if the order had been canceled, the employee repeatedly interrupted me, spoke over me, and accused me of attempting to steal from the company. These accusations were especially concerning given that the order had been accepted and processed through the company's own online system. Also to added it was stated that they store had over 50 different orders from customers that were canceled due issue. When I calmly asked for the employee's name, he refused and loudly stated, "I do not identify to the police, and I will not identify to you." At that point, I requested to speak with a manager. However, the employee continued interrupting and speaking over the manager while escalating the situation. He threatened to have me removed from the store and to call security, all while continuing to accuse me of being a thief and a scammer. As the encounter became increasingly confrontational, I felt genuinely concerned for my personal safety and chose to leave the store. This experience was extremely upsetting and unprofessional. I am also concerned that the employee has access to my personal information through the online order I placed. Given the nature of the interaction and the threatening behavior I experienced, I am considering whether it is appropriate to file a police report regarding the incident. read more

This half of we doesn't usually come to Jimmy John's. Took a bit for me to decide but almost just after we paid, our sandwiches were ready. Both had some type.of.turkey and both were good. Only complaint woild be the insides are a bit skimpy. Other observation is that the skimpiness comes at what I thought was a bit pricey. I would come back once in a while. My girlfriend and I are very big Jimmy John's fans. Normally never have a problem. Today we got our normal sandwich we always get, ate in the car right in front of Jimmy John's and my girlfriend bit down on a staple. We know mistakes happen but this is a pretty liable mistake to make. We didn't want to make a scene so we kindly told the worker that we see time and time again that there was a staple in our sandwich. He was visibly upset for us. He went to I guess tell the "manager" or someone of importance in a red shirt and this man with a smirk on his face comes up to us and says "yeah we obviously don't put staples in our sandwiches." I was already a little upset thinking of the possible of my gf actually being injured by this mistake but for him to act so entitled made me more upset. He waiting for some sort of response from us like we maybe put the staple in there? Not too sure why we was just smirking at us. But he didn't have any sort of solution other than "maybe you guys could have a sandwich or a cookie?" And that was literally it. I have been going to this Chain for a very long time. I've never had an issue with any of the other chains only this one. After the last attempt, I said I wouldn't go to this location again ever because they basically made my sandwich with a piece of bread, lettuce, and a tomato and added absolutely bare minimum. I don't like that there isn't an option online to toast the sandwich, and I'm unsure whether there is an option at all because the staff were very busy. There is also only French bread, which was really not good. The type that sounds like cardboard when you tap your fingers on it. A basic roast beef sandwich with very little meat or produce is nearly $10. To add cheese it cost almost $2. I think the sandwich was much lower quality than subway and had much less ingredients inside for double the price. I never tried Jimmy John's before let alone a pickle sandwich. The pickle sandwich was bomb along with the pickle chips! I added onions to my sandwich ofc for preference. I would say on the other hand to add extra sauces or seasonings of your choice as I felt that's what it needed. I added more of my own mayo/mustard/pepper after trying it alone. Other than that it was delicious! It's the only location I know around my area thay serves a pickle sandwich besides SoCal. The pickle sandwich was a perfect size for me and filled me up, however 2 picklewich may be needed for others since it's a bit small. I got #9 & gargantuan. Both were full. They didn't skimp out on anything. They were super meaty & tasted a bit salty since I got meatier subs. I did however added more kewpie Mayo and mustard on my sub and added in some sliced pickles that I had on hand. It was even more amazing afterwards! Even though it was an 8 inch sub I gobbled it almost all up in no time. It was like I've been starving for days but i didn't, it was just that good! These subs were good but imo I have tried other subs from the menu & they were so much better since I prefer those over these two. In case you're wondering which two, they're the favorites from JJs menu which was #7 & #12. I felt the overall taste of those two were so much more well balanced than the meatier subs and they were much tastier because all the ingredients just went together so much better. If you're ever on a road trip and need a quick bite that will last you hours because there might be leftovers throughout the trip, come here! Our closest Jimmy John's is this location on Douglas Blvd. It is the only one in Roseville because the next closest ones are in Sacramento, Marysville and Lodi. With that said I've only been to this location for pick up only once and the order was ready when I arrived. So my experience in-store was good. Jimmy John's is one of our go to places for sandwich catering when we have occasions at work. My co-worker loves their sandwiches here and she tends to buy extra to share with us in the office. I've enjoyed the Turkey sandwich and Roast Beef. These are sandwiches made with fresh ingredients and are delicious. The French bread is baked fresh daily and is so soft and yummy!
