I was very excited to try the only Jimmy John's in the Sacramento area. I downloaded the app which was easy to use. Orders can be scheduled ahead of time and was ready promptly. Parking was easy with a lot of spaces available. The restaurant was clean and well lit. There is a designated shelf for pick up items. I had the Italian wrap which was the best wrap that I have ever had. I am biased because I love the flavors of an Italian wrap but the wrap itself was on the thin side and not overly "bready" which is my preference. The wrap was large enough for two meals. My girlfriend and I are very big Jimmy John's fans. Normally never have a problem. Today we got our normal sandwich we always get, ate in the car right in front of Jimmy John's and my girlfriend bit down on a staple. We know mistakes happen but this is a pretty liable mistake to make. We didn't want to make a scene so we kindly told the worker that we see time and time again that there was a staple in our sandwich. He was visibly upset for us. He went to I guess tell the "manager" or someone of importance in a red shirt and this man with a smirk on his face comes up to us and says "yeah we obviously don't put staples in our sandwiches." I was already a little upset thinking of the possible of my gf actually being injured by this mistake but for him to act so entitled made me more upset. I don't like that there isn't an option online to toast the sandwich, and I'm unsure whether there is an option at all because the staff were very busy. There is also only French bread, which was really not good. The type that sounds like cardboard when you tap your fingers on it. A basic roast beef sandwich with very little meat or produce is nearly $10. To add cheese it cost almost $2. I think the sandwich was much lower quality than subway and had much less ingredients inside for double the price. I never tried Jimmy John's before let alone a pickle sandwich. The pickle sandwich was bomb along with the pickle chips! I added onions to my sandwich ofc for preference. I would say on the other hand to add extra sauces or seasonings of your choice as I felt that's what it needed. I added more of my own mayo/mustard/pepper after trying it alone. Other than that it was delicious! It's the only location I know around my area thay serves a pickle sandwich besides SoCal. The pickle sandwich was a perfect size for me and filled me up, however 2 picklewich may be needed for others since it's a bit small. Went in with my mom after a tiring doctor's appointment and were immediately greeted with wonderfully attentive, fast, and kind service from Joshua. Our food was made in a timely manner, and when I had asked for a side of avocado that (I thought) was missing from my sandwich, Joshua got me some immediately and checked in with us to make sure we were enjoying our time there. The atmosphere is friendly and playful with their funny signs everywhere, our food was yummy, and overall we had a great experience there today. I got #9 & gargantuan. Both were full. They didn't skimp out on anything. They were super meaty & tasted a bit salty since I got meatier subs. Even though it was an 8 inch sub I gobbled it almost all up in no time. It was like I've been starving for days but i didn't, it was just that good! In case you're wondering which two, they're the favorites from JJs menu which was #7 & #12. I felt the overall taste of those two were so much more well balanced than the meatier subs and they were much tastier because all the ingredients just went together so much better. Wow incredibly rude staff! I called today to place a catering order and was told my delivery address was out of range, which is beyond 5 miles. Well according to both Apple and Google maps it's only a 3.8 mile range. The nice man I was speaking to told me their system showed it was 8 miles. I very nicely asked if he could check if there is some error because that is way further. He put me on hold. John, the manager, picked up and was so incredibly rude and disrespectful. He picked up without a hello and curtly asked me why I was on hold. I explained, and he said in an extremely rude and irritated manner "you're out of range," just like that, no other words. I told him that maybe there was an error because I'm half that distance. Here are some quotes I wrote down as he berated me: "I've told you for the 7th time." "Now we are behind because I'm on the phone with you." "Try online I'm hanging up on you now." This was a 10 minute call in which I was on hold some time. I was extremely nice and never once spoke with disrespect. I was genuinely confused as to why their system shows the delivery address double the distance. I honestly haven't been spoken to so rudely and with disrespect ever in my life. I have worked in fast food in the past and never ever would imagine speaking to a customer that way. When I asked who his manager was he stated, Andre and suggested he would say all the same things. I would hope not. I will no longer be using them for my party, I will never eat here again. John, you are a horrible manager and a mean person. I would've never spoken to you that way or treated you that way had the roles been reversed. I would have had the patience for you and would have tried to understand why we were having such a discrepancy in delivery distance. You see, Quarry Park is 3.8 miles away (a 10 min drive) from the Roseville JJ location, this is less than the 5 mile delivery range you told me on the phone. Can you fairly see my confusion?
