    Another turkey type

This half of we doesn't usually come to Jimmy John's. Took a bit for me to decide but almost just after we paid, our sandwiches were ready. Both had some type.of.turkey and both were good. Only complaint woild be the insides are a bit skimpy. Other observation is that the skimpiness comes at what I thought was a bit pricey. I would come back once in a while. There are sandwich spots that are better and definitely one chain that is substantially worse. The service on this visit was fast and friendly. This staff did a good job.

The service was good, but the sandwiches were bare! Hardly any meat, dripping; just soggy bread. So disappointing yet again.

Not cut half and Left the tomatoes in

The only Jimmy John's in the Sacramento area so we try to stop by everyone we are near it. The bread is different than most sandwich shops and the quality ingredients are actually fresh. Unfortunately most of the time the instructions of no tomatoes (cuz of an allergy) and cut in half is not followed. I just tried the wrap and it was also delicious and healthy. The service is pretty fast but not accurate. The inside is clean and maintained but we usually sit outside.

My girlfriend and I are very big Jimmy John's fans. Normally never have a problem. Today we got our normal sandwich we always get, ate in the car right in front of Jimmy John's and my girlfriend bit down on a staple. We know mistakes happen but this is a pretty liable mistake to make. We didn't want to make a scene so we kindly told the worker that we see time and time again that there was a staple in our sandwich. He was visibly upset for us. He went to I guess tell the "manager" or someone of importance in a red shirt and this man with a smirk on his face comes up to us and says "yeah we obviously don't put staples in our sandwiches." I was already a little upset thinking of the possible of my gf actually being injured by this mistake but for him to act so entitled made me more upset. He waiting for some sort of response from us like we maybe put the staple in there? Not too sure why we was just smirking at us. But he didn't have any sort of solution other than "maybe you guys could have a sandwich or a cookie?" And that was literally it. To the worker that is always so kind to us, thank you for all your help you are so kind. To the other dude in the red shirt.. you got off so dang easy with us whispering there was a staple in our sandwich and for you to act the way you did is embarrassing for you. Hope you learn human decency and empathy. If someone came into my work with the same problem I'd immediately refund the order. There isn't a ton to do in this scenario but I'd sure as hell not have a smile on my face while hearing about a STAPLE IN A SANDWICH? Wild stuff bro.

Overall service was friendly. I placed an online order and a phone order and the experience was seamless and there were no complaints. It was busy during lunch hour when I picked up the food. I don't like that there isn't an option online to toast the sandwich, and I'm unsure whether there is an option at all because the staff were very busy. There is also only French bread, which was really not good. The type that sounds like cardboard when you tap your fingers on it. A basic roast beef sandwich with very little meat or produce is nearly $10. To add cheese it cost almost $2. I think the sandwich was much lower quality than subway and had much less ingredients inside for double the price. When I go to a sandwich shop and pay nearly $10 for a sandwich I would expect different bread options and a good amount of ingredients.

I never tried Jimmy John's before let alone a pickle sandwich. The pickle sandwich was bomb along with the pickle chips! I added onions to my sandwich ofc for preference. I would say on the other hand to add extra sauces or seasonings of your choice as I felt that's what it needed. I added more of my own mayo/mustard/pepper after trying it alone. Other than that it was delicious! It's the only location I know around my area thay serves a pickle sandwich besides SoCal. The pickle sandwich was a perfect size for me and filled me up, however 2 picklewich may be needed for others since it's a bit small. Obviously cause it's a pickle though so it's suppose to be smaller. And it's only 190 calories!

I personally love Jimmy John's... always have always will. It's a big thing in the Midwest. Out in Cali the Roseville location is the only one I've seen in the Sacramento area! Anyhoo... best freaking bread ever! Yeah. I said it. So soft. So fresh. I got the turkey tom, so good!!! I am so disappointed/ sad that they got rid of the kick in ranch. They have a new ranch that's jalapeño. It was okay....... But idk why they got rid of the good good. The service in here was good, but I feel like I was rushed to order and I was the only person in the restaurant. That's why I'm giving 3 stars. I still love you JJ!!!

My initial visit I ordered from their "vintage" menu. I got Erik's B.L.A.S.T. with bacon, Arcadian lettuce, avocado, clover sprouts, Secret Goo and tomato on toasted sourdough. They accidentally forgot the clover sprouts on my order. I love sprouts, so I was a bit disappointed when I realized they were missing. However the sandwich was great so it didn't ruin the meal. I loved their special tuna sandwich, called the Ocean Avenue, which was a delicious concoction. Made with tuna salad, cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, clover sprouts, and sweet hot mustard on swirl rye bread. The ingredients were all fresh & tasty. Another winner I just consumed was the Ciao Down, made with the softest Dutch Crunch I've ever eaten. I appreciated having the roof of my mouth intact! The combination of ingredients (salami, turkey, Swiss, tomato, onions, clover sprouts, basil pesto) gave me salty, vinegary, sour, and savory, with just a mild spicy kick from the hot cherry peppers. Whatever you do, don't skip the carrot cake! It is the best carrot cake I've ever had. I actually wondered if they outsourced it, but it turns out it's a proprietary family recipe. Made with carrots, pineapples, cream cheese frosting, and walnuts. It tastes homemade and perfectly balanced.

She later came and checked on us to see how we enjoyed the food and brought us a bag for leftovers. Megan also told us they get there at 6am and make the bread daily (you can tell!). They have lots of different items such as cheesesteak sandwiches, subs, burgers and salads with different sizes. They do offer a kids meal that seems like a great price for all you get. They also have crinkle cut fries that come in regular or large. They have a soda fountain machine and beer on tap. They also have a sauce station that has a house made fry sauce, malt vinegar, ketchup, horseradish and packets of mayo and mustard. They have ranch in the back (ask for it) which is delicious!!! We ordered two breaking bud beers, a chicken Malibu cheesesteak, a pepper steak cheesesteak and a regular fry. The fries were seasoned well and cooked perfectly. After the fries we started with the pepper steak cheesesteak- holy moly. I am still thinking about it! The bread was so soft and everything was cooked perfectly. The flavors were on point. The whole thing was pipping hot almost till the last bite. We got full so we will try the chicken Malibu later. I am so impressed with this spot I cannot wait to go back. Ok, so you have to love cream cheese (which I do) because that's what makes this behemoth of a sandwich so good. It's turkey, avocado, and bacon with the usual lettuce, tomato, onion, greek peppers, and mayo and mustard. It has avocado, cheese, and mayo. For a pastrami sandwich purist, it might not sound good, but it was so flavorful, and even my husband loved it, and he's one of the pastrami purist and not a fan of mayo. That says a lot. We also tried the hot roast beef with cheddar cheese that came with an au jus for dipping. So dang good! I love the beach and Hawaii theme, of course.
