Unfortunately I did not love it here...My first time in and I probably won't come back. The whole place was confusing. Where do people pick up online orders? Where do I pick up my in person order? Where do we all stand? Ha. Lots of parking, private lot, easy to find. The employee taking orders was extra crabby and not helpful. I ordered off the menu/stock. My sandwich was wet and kind of gross from the wet lettuce. Also the sandwiches are small for the price. Not a good value for what I received. I wish it was better because it is convenient.

This half of we doesn't usually come to Jimmy John's. Took a bit for me to decide but almost just after we paid, our sandwiches were ready. Both had some type.of.turkey and both were good. Only complaint woild be the insides are a bit skimpy. Other observation is that the skimpiness comes at what I thought was a bit pricey. I would come back once in a while. There are sandwich spots that are better and definitely one chain that is substantially worse. The service on this visit was fast and friendly. This staff did a good job.

The service was good, but the sandwiches were bare! Hardly any meat, dripping; just soggy bread. So disappointing yet again.

Not cut half and Left the tomatoes in

The only Jimmy John's in the Sacramento area so we try to stop by everyone we are near it. The bread is different than most sandwich shops and the quality ingredients are actually fresh. Unfortunately most of the time the instructions of no tomatoes (cuz of an allergy) and cut in half is not followed. I just tried the wrap and it was also delicious and healthy. The service is pretty fast but not accurate. The inside is clean and maintained but we usually sit outside.

My girlfriend and I are very big Jimmy John's fans. Normally never have a problem. Today we got our normal sandwich we always get, ate in the car right in front of Jimmy John's and my girlfriend bit down on a staple. We know mistakes happen but this is a pretty liable mistake to make. We didn't want to make a scene so we kindly told the worker that we see time and time again that there was a staple in our sandwich. He was visibly upset for us. He went to I guess tell the "manager" or someone of importance in a red shirt and this man with a smirk on his face comes up to us and says "yeah we obviously don't put staples in our sandwiches." I was already a little upset thinking of the possible of my gf actually being injured by this mistake but for him to act so entitled made me more upset. He waiting for some sort of response from us like we maybe put the staple in there? Not too sure why we was just smirking at us. But he didn't have any sort of solution other than "maybe you guys could have a sandwich or a cookie?" And that was literally it. To the worker that is always so kind to us, thank you for all your help you are so kind. To the other dude in the red shirt.. you got off so dang easy with us whispering there was a staple in our sandwich and for you to act the way you did is embarrassing for you. Hope you learn human decency and empathy. If someone came into my work with the same problem I'd immediately refund the order. There isn't a ton to do in this scenario but I'd sure as hell not have a smile on my face while hearing about a STAPLE IN A SANDWICH? Wild stuff bro.

I personally love Jimmy John's... always have always will. It's a big thing in the Midwest. Out in Cali the Roseville location is the only one I've seen in the Sacramento area! Anyhoo... best freaking bread ever! Yeah. I said it. So soft. So fresh. I got the turkey tom, so good!!! I am so disappointed/ sad that they got rid of the kick in ranch. They have a new ranch that's jalapeño. It was okay....... But idk why they got rid of the good good. The service in here was good, but I feel like I was rushed to order and I was the only person in the restaurant. That's why I'm giving 3 stars. I still love you JJ!!!

My initial visit I ordered from their "vintage" menu. I got Erik's B.L.A.S.T. with bacon, Arcadian lettuce, avocado, clover sprouts, Secret Goo and tomato on toasted sourdough. They accidentally forgot the clover sprouts on my order. I love sprouts, so I was a bit disappointed when I realized they were missing. However the sandwich was great so it didn't ruin the meal. I loved their special tuna sandwich, called the Ocean Avenue, which was a delicious concoction. Made with tuna salad, cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, clover sprouts, and sweet hot mustard on swirl rye bread. The ingredients were all fresh & tasty. Another winner I just consumed was the Ciao Down, made with the softest Dutch Crunch I've ever eaten. I appreciated having the roof of my mouth intact! The combination of ingredients (salami, turkey, Swiss, tomato, onions, clover sprouts, basil pesto) gave me salty, vinegary, sour, and savory, with just a mild spicy kick from the hot cherry peppers. Whatever you do, don't skip the carrot cake! It is the best carrot cake I've ever had. I actually wondered if they outsourced it, but it turns out it's a proprietary family recipe. Made with carrots, pineapples, cream cheese frosting, and walnuts. It tastes homemade and perfectly balanced.

Yelp Review This…read moreplace is your classic, no-frills sandwich spot, and sometimes that's exactly what you're looking for! I usually grab my food to go, but whenever I do step inside, the atmosphere feels just like a good neighborhood sandwich shop should. Nothing overly fancy, just a casual setting and the delicious smell of fresh ingredients greeting you as soon as you walk through the door. The service has always been friendly and welcoming, and I honestly haven't had any complaints. They're helpful, quick, and make the whole experience easy, whether you're grabbing something to go or staying for a bite. Now, let's talk about the cheesesteak! It's flavorful, satisfying, and even better with their Dirty Sauce. I highly recommend adding bacon and getting it on a Dutch crunch roll. That combination gives you the perfect mix of savory, crispy, cheesy, and crunchy in every bite. The Dutch crunch really takes the sandwich up a notch! Overall, this is a solid spot when you're craving a hearty sandwich without any fuss. I'll definitely be back the next time that sandwich craving comes knocking!

Whenever I order, I try something different. The sandwiches taste pretty good, but there isn't anything crazy which is something I would want to order. So, if you like pretty standard choices with a ton of options that different an ingredient or two, then this is your spot for a sandwich. In terms of service, it's been mostly good. We've been to this location a handful of times. About half the time the staff makes a little mistake such as not putting extra lettuce or leaving out the extra sauce on the side. Otherwise, they are pretty good. The price is okay. I wish I could get a solid sandwich for $10, but that's just not realistic anymore.

It was decently backed, which I thought would delay us getting our food but within 10 minutes, our food was out. Portions were generous. Ok, so you have to love cream cheese (which I do) because that's what makes this behemoth of a sandwich so good. It's turkey, avocado, and bacon with the usual lettuce, tomato, onion, greek peppers, and mayo and mustard. Everything I've had there over the years at BHD has always been consistently delicious and stacked. I tried the hot pastrami for the first time, as it comes, and it was yummy. It has avocado, cheese, and mayo. For a pastrami sandwich purist, it might not sound good, but it was so flavorful, and even my husband loved it, and he's one of the pastrami purist and not a fan of mayo. That says a lot. We also tried the hot roast beef with cheddar cheese that came with an au jus for dipping. So dang good! I love the beach and Hawaii theme, of course.
