A nice surprise. Walked in and ordered my food, and it was nearly ready before I was finished ordering. They toasted it for me and it was fresh made right there in front of me. The service was outstanding, professional, and friendly. They also offered me a military discount. Ambience in the place is very friendly. The employees were chattering all the while attending to their jobs. They asked if everything was OK and if I needed anything else. There are also tables and chairs outside where you may consume your food. The outside area was clean and well kept. They do have a drive up and drive-through area to pick food up. However, I like to go inside a restaurant when I have time. I have used their drive up and pick up window and it is just as quick as going inside, sometimes I think it's faster. read more

Manager Mercedes is horrible!! I ordered a sandwich, order was NOT repeated. Received wrong sandwiched, but didn't realize it until taking a bite. Went in a notified them, and Mercedes response was it was my fault for not catching it when it was repeated, but it never was. Then wanted to redo it using the same bread, after asking why they won't make a new one, she said she'd have to charge me. So we agreed to add the bacon, since I ordered a BLT. She decided to just throw it away along with my receipt. Everything could of worked out fine if she wasn't so snippy and rude about it, and saying it was all my fault to begin with. Absolutely horribly ran establishment. I ordered online. It was promptly delivered. 2 of the 3 sandwiches were missing items. So I called. After 10 minutes on hold and 3 different people, the third person says she personally made the sandwiches and would need to send a driver to verify. ME AND MY FAMILY WAIT FOR 30 MINUTES, no one comes. First of all very disrespectful and demeaning for them to need to come and verify, but whatever if that's what they need to do but no one had any intention of coming and me and my family were left waiting to eat for this so called verification. Absolutely unacceptable. I call, dude says let me get my manager, to which I get left on hold for 30 MINUTES until I drive to the store. The front desk lady was nice and apologetic, and tried to get the manager, to which I'm literally looking at him tell her to say he's not here and she's like I don't know what to do. So I ask if there's a general manager where they both hear me and the "not here" guy responds he's not allowed to give out personal info. So I ask for a corporate contact and he replies for me to look it up because he doesn't know, to which I say kind of like he doesn't know how to run this shop. I ask the nice girl if she would like to help me to which she gets on her phone and goes to the back. After a few minutes she comes back and just says the GM will be in tomorrow but there's nothing she can do without verifying the messed up order. I obviously replied we waited 30 minutes for someone to come verify and she was just like I know I'm sorry and seemed genuine about it. I appreciate her, the rest are clowns. I'll update tomorrow... UPDATE: the following day me and the wife went to Jimmy John's to speak with the GM. After having us wait 5 minutes for him, which is ok I'm not complaining about that, but it was when he approached us that things got weird. He literally comes up to us and starts the convo with, "we are short staffed so can we make this quick..." (there was 7 other employees there, and no one in line... :/) So now we know why the employees are crap, his leadership was horrible. So I proceed to tell him the situation and when I'm done he just kind of stand there blank. My wife then interjects, "can we at least get credit for the toppings we paid that we didn't get?" And he obliges by taking our name to apply at a future use. We realize he only listened to us to placate us, and we were completely unsatisfied with the interaction. This is the slowest JJ I have ever been to. The drive thru is horribly slow and they get something wrong on my order at least once a month. Ordered 2 sandwiches and there was minimum amount of meat on both sandwiches. I took my sandwich up the counter and asked if I could get more tuna and the answer was "we have a pre-measured amount that we put on a sandwich. Subway puts 4 scoops of tuna on their foot long sandwich, Jimmy John's put 2 scoops of tuna on their sandwiches. Lesson learned. read more

My 12 year old son and 11 year old daughter play baseball and softball respectively at the Jumbo Evans sports park in Spring Branch. They both had games on the evening of Monday 5/15/2023, with my son's game not staring until 7:30 p.m. His game was eventually cancelled due to rain and lightning. Thus, we thought we would stop by the Jimmy John's in the Singing Oaks shopping center in Bulverde on the way home. We were all sopping wet and sought refuge to eat at your restaurant and have eaten many times there in the past. My wife and I were in separate cars, and I got to Jimmy John's first. I poked my head in the store and asked one of the young associates what time they close, as it was about 8:45 p.m. She stated that they closed at 9:10 p.m. I asked if that was enough time to make sandwiches for myself and my wife and two kids, who would be there any minute. I asked if if it was OK to have my wife on speaker phone to order in the interest of time. She said it was. My order was placed and my sandwiches were being made. My wife and kids arrived promptly and I had already starting getting their drinks. We wanted to just sit down for just a minute, eat our food, and then we'd be on our way. It became very obvious to me, that one of the other associates wasn't too thrilled that we had stopped in. She was apparently the manager, as she told the male associate that "....next time we are 17 minutes from closing, you have my permission to turn off the 'Open' sign." She said this loud enough for me to hear it.......because she wanted me to hear it! So, I stood up and walked to the counter and in a very polite and calm way said "Thank ya'll so much for putting up with us, and making our food just before you close!" And I looked right at the manager (of which she confirmed later she was the manager on shift) when I stated this. The initial response I got was a roll of the eyes and basically a gaff off. I repeated it again, just so she would know that I meant it. "I really do want to thank you!" Nothing! Notta! Zip! Zilch! Same no response with a disheveled look in her eyes. Basically, a "F" you for coming in here and spending your money in this store just before we close. I could feel my blood pressure boil and my anger build. This was in front of my wife and kids. I became angry and enraged that I just spent my hard earned money in a store, and was humiliated in front of my wife and kids, by the manager nonetheless! I let it go at first and focused my mind on getting my kids their drinks. But, I could feel the disdain towards us spewing from the manager's eyes in our direction as we sat down. Mind you.....we're sopping wet.....cold, hungry, and tired.....and we sought refuge in this Jimmy John's store. So, I couldn't let it go anymore! I called the store manager out on not even acknowledging the fact that I thanked her and the other associates with a basic "You're welcome!" That's all she needed to say. She could have cursed us up and down after we'd left and I'd never know it and wouldn't care. But, she made it very clear that we were not welcome in the store and essentially shouldn't have come in. I'm a Marine Corps combat veteran and retired Marine officer. I don't expect the red carpet to get rolled out for me. But, I also don't expect to get treated like garbage, in front of my wife and kids nonetheless, when I'm spending my money in your store. I let her know how she made us feel and was direct and plenty abrasive so she knew just what kind of nerve she struck. Even then, she still refused to acknowledge that I thanked her for the store taking our orders. It's almost like she believed she was acquiescing to me by saying a simple "You're welcome." That's all she had to do. I could have even accepted the "turn the open sign off 17 minutes early" comment. But, not even saying back "You're welcome".....not evening acknowledging that I physically spoke to her...rolling of the eyes and gaff off gesturing! Totally disgusting! As a Marine officer, and then supervisor in other positions in life, I've had to lead and be in charge of people and do things that I didn't want to. But, I never treated people like the way we were treated, who were seeking just a few minutes of refuge from the cold rain, in particular with their wife and children on hand. Is this the kind of employees you let run your store and set the example for your employees? She has no business being a manager. read more

If you look REALLY close up, you can barely see the meat (it's not easy to see, impossible to taste or identify a meat while you are eating). The picture stays it all - a very sad sandwich, overall. Ok, they were busy when I was there. I had to wait for my sandwich, which really wasn't a big deal. I was not in a hurry. The downside of waiting though was that I watched them make 7-8 sandwiches... The two young ladies making the sandwiches reached into their pockets multiple times to pull out their cell phones and check something. Again, slightly irritating when the store was busy but not my main issue. The real issue? Both of these women then proceeded to keep making the sandwiches without changing their gloves or washing their hands. Done with the lack of customer service. For a while they were accommodating my request to replace the capicola with salami. Now they're back to wanting to charge me extra to sub the capicola out for salami with a variety of excuses like salami costs more than cap and if they replace 1 with another they'll have extra of the 1 they subbed out. New to Spring Branch, Jimmy Johns!!! Went at lunch today. Place is new so it was exceptionally clean. More than 6 people working today and the service was freaky fast! I had the #12 Beach club on wheat bread. It was so good and very fresh. Bread was so soft and scrumptious! Has the little seeds in it. Sandwich didn't stay together very well because of the mayo/avacado/tomato kinda messy. Had the reduced fat chips, like kettle chips to me. Those were also really fresh. Health Dept score is an A as of today! So I hope they keep up the good work. Place was very busy by the time we left but people stilll got their food fast. Kinda pricy for a sandwich but it's the quality that you pay for. 10$ for sandwich, chips, and drink. No napkins on the tables, you have to ask for them. They do have two tables out front for outdoor seating. As well as a drive thru. Everyone was very friendly and attentive to the customers. I asked and this location does not offer sprouts. I am an old school JJ's fan. Started at the original location in Charleston, IL. I am so happy to see y'all have made it to Spring Branch. I have ordered several times, including the very first opening day. The sandwiches were consistent with what I'm used to. There were several people working the counter. I was greeted when I came in. I did have to wait just a bit for my order but they were really busy. If I can, I order through the App and pickup through the drive through.
