Thank you Schlotzsky's! I recently got a sandwich here and it was a medium veggie. When I got it, it had hardly anything on it. One tomato and 2 little cucumbers and very little lettuce. It was like eating just bread. And I usually get the small a thread is more in the small then what was on the medium. So I called and they said they would remake and give me a new one next time I was in. Well I went today and they made me a new one and it was fantastic!! It was hot fresh lots of lettuce tomato's and cucumbers. Thank you so much for making it right. I love this sandwich. This is what I call great service!! Thanks again. read more

Used to like Schlotzsky's so don't know if it was this location or what. Beef on the sandwiches is cut thick and very chewy/rubbery. Food just didn't seem to be the of the quality I remember. If I could give zero stars, I would I was there earlier today I ordered a medium ham and cheese sandwich with no mustard and a bag of barbecue potato chips. There was a car in front of me so after I pay, they told me to pull up behind that car that was waiting. I waited 25 minutes for my food. I had to call them twice and ask them where the food was a guy came out with a receipt and said is this your order and I said yes he goes back in 10 minutes later. He comes out with my food I get home. There's no chips in the bag and it's the wrong sandwich I will never go to that location again it's terrible. It was a waste of time and a waste of money. For a good sandwich in bulverde, TX, you can't beat fresh bread, good tasting meat and great service, you better go here! They are always busy but the staff is so friendly and courteous! Team lead Cheyeanne kept apologizing for the wait time but it wasn't anything to be apologizing for since it's being made fresh! I go here at least once a week (sometimes twice)! I'm a big fan of this chain and was so glad when they built in our town. I waited a couple of weeks for them to get everybody trained. We went on a Saturday evening and expected to have a long wait based on past reviews. However, we were pleasantly surprised as only one couple was ahead of us. We had also seen the bad reviews about service, but the young lady that waited on us was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. We placed our orders and the food was brought out quickly. Probably the best thing about their sandwiches is their bread. However, it appeared that they had not let the bread rise enough. It was rather flat but tasted great. The sandwiches had very little lettuce or onion on them. Also, there was so little mustard that you could hardly taste it. The good thing about these sandwich issues are that they can all be corrected easily. It appears that they have already fixed their service issues, so your experience should only get better and better. Will I return? Most definitely! read more

Don't let the negative reviews stop you from going here. We ate lunch here yesterday. Our orders at the drive through were taken by a very courteous young woman and served to us by a very polite young man. The sandwiches were delicious and we will be back again as we get to San Antonio about every other week. This was a wonderful change of pace from the Golden Arches just up the road on 281. I am happy to report that after a few weeks of opening that the Service and wait times have greatly improved here. We came after school time around 400pm. Light crowd and few were waiting on any orders. We have 3 dining inside and 1 order to go today. All arrived at a reasonable amount time. I can see why this location only gets two stars. I've come here at least five times and every single time I get here there's no one standing at the front counter. I have to step around the corner and go into the kitchen and always catch people standing around talking. Food is decent and the location is nice and clean but they don't have the right customer service orientation. They're too busy joking around in the kitchen and make customers wait. If you ask them for something special, they may bring it out to you. Great location but unfortunately the service is not what you would expect. read more

We ordered two pizzas today one regular and one gluten free. I picked them up asked the girl at the drive thru if one was gluten free and she said yes. Got them home and had two regular ones. Called the store and the manager said he did it and remembers not making it gluten free. I was livid. He offered to free gluten free pizzas. I drove over and got them. Took thirty minutes round trip and I explained the side effects of eating the gluten. So if you go to this restaurant and have food allergies be careful. The sandwich I had was very good and seemed much more full of meat than the other store we go to in town. Service has been knocked in other reviews but we had no issues, but they were not busy. Chicken Avocado Flat bread was fresh and FIRE. The delicious melt of the cheese and juicy chicken breast satiated my hunger quite pleasantly. Not to forget the Classic cinnamon rolls that were literally on TOP. I hate myself for giving into to the sugary goodness, but I'm glad I did. Went at 8:45 through drive through, waited and no response, should be open until 9pm. Went around and front door is locked, huh it's only 8:52 now ? He proceeds to slam door In my face with a smirk. Well it isn't hard to figure out who the taller white assistant manager is, with scruffy half beard, brown hair, wearing blackish jeans, blue shirt and hat, with a tattoo on your left arm closing the store 9-14-23 at 8:50pm. Shame on this establishment for doing business this way and having employees like this, the reviews reflect this.
