Was recommended this place by a coworker of mine as I've been wanting meat Jun. I really liked their options for sides and will need to go back to try the others. We ordered one regular meat Jun with 4 sides and the honey soy garlic chicken. Portions for both of these were generous as we had left over for the next two days. Meat Jun was lightly battered and the meat was real tender. The meat wasnt super thinly sliced like others I've tried and I honestly prefer this cut. I thought the soy garlic chicken were going to be wings but I sure was wrong. The way they butterflied the chicken thigh was great to deep fry it was perfection. The chicken was crispy all around and flavor was great. I would order this as a party platter if I could. Will be going back Forsure!
The honey soy garlic shrimp rocked my world. Crispy, tender, sweet, salty, and fried to glossy perfection. Each shrimp had that sticky, caramelized finish I adore. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the sides were delicious. I went with shoyu potatoes (soy-simmered, slightly sweet & salty) and japchae (stir-fried glass noodles). It was a starch-on-starch kind of night. I did wait about 25 mins, maybe that's standard here? But the food was worth it. One small suggestion: clear containers for the side options would be amazing. I'm still learning my way around Korean food, and I'm a very visual person, so being able to see the options before you order would be very helpful to be able to choose what to try next. Speaking of next time...I've got my eye on the beef bulgogi.
To all my Hawaii people, if you know, Yummy from back home and you've been to hippo grill, this place is even better. The restaurant is small. They have a few dining tables to the side and they don't have any fountain drinks only can soda. When you walk in the front counter has all of your side options that you can choose from and believe me they have a lot. I chose to get the aloha plate which it comes with four sides.. I got the shoyu potato, Mac salad, bean sprouts, and potato salad. These are all great choices. Super tasty. As you can see in the picture of the plate is massive you better come hungry. The two choices I went with was the meet Jun and they let me substitute it for the honey chicken. The chicken is fried super crispy and inside was juicy and moist wow. The meat Jun is cooked perfect the only downside is they give you a small cup for the sauce and it's not enough not even close. I asked for extra sauce but they charge you $.25 per cup oh well. The other plate is kalbi and meat jun. Service is fast. Food is amazing. Lots of rice on the bottom of the plate so I really enjoyed everything here. Give this place a try and happy eating!!!!!!
Came here with my husband for a late lunch and there were only a few other customers in the restaurant. Parking is plentiful and the restaurant is nice and clean and bright. There are only a few small tables with a total of fourteen seats. The two of us shared an Aloha Plate with Original Fried Chicken, Spicy Pork, and four sides (Tofu, Edamame, Corn Salad, and Japchae), and a Mini Bulgogi Plate with two sides (Macaroni Salad and Japchae). There were plenty of side dish choices to choose from, I think I counted fourteen! The plates also came with steamed rice. There seemed to be only one lady in the store, she was up front and also cooking in the kitchen. She said it would take 15 minutes for the food and it took exactly that. She was friendly and efficient. The fried chicken (two pieces of bone-in thighs) and spicy pork were excellent. The chicken was crispy on the outside, and tender and juicy on the inside. The pork was perfectly seasoned. The Beef Bulgogi was not very tender, but the taste was quite good. The side dishes were all decent, Japchae was my favorite. The Macaroni Salad and Corn Salad were also very tasty. There was plenty of food and enough for us for two meals. Overall it was very good with generous portions. Prices were reasonable.

This is our second time here and it did not disappoint! We were greeted with a warm smile as soon as we walked in. We had called ahead and placed our order so it was waiting for us as soon as we got there. It is always clean and bright in here. There are not a lot of tables but there is enough to sit and eat. The portions are large and absolutely delicious. You will not regret eating here!
If you're craving all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ in Vegas, Jin's on Tropicana is absolutely worth the stop. From the moment you walk in, the staff is friendly, quick, and on top of everything--plates are cleared fast, the grills are changed often, and the servers actually check in without being asked (which is rare for AYCE spots). The meat quality is excellent for the price point. The brisket is thin, buttery, and cooks perfectly in seconds. Their marinated short rib is easily the star of the menu--tender, flavorful, and not overly sweet like some places. The pork belly and spicy chicken are also solid choices if you want variety. Everything comes out fresh, and the kitchen is fast even during busy times. Side dishes are plentiful and consistently good. The kimchi has great flavor, the japchae is surprisingly tasty, and the steamed egg is a must-order every time. Their dipping sauces also pair well with everything on the grill. The restaurant is clean, spacious, and has a comfortable vibe. Even when they're slammed, the tables don't feel cramped and the ventilation keeps the smoke down, which I appreciate. Parking is easy, too. The value is one of the best parts--great price for quality meat, generous portions, and fast service. You definitely leave full and happy. Overall, Jin's Korean BBQ on Tropicana hits all the marks: great food, great service, and a great AYCE experience. We weren't sure what to expect when we decided to visit Jin's Korean BBQ. But it was definitely worth a try, and our visit was quite pleasant. The staff are super helpful, and informative. I was curious about the Hawaiian drink that they offered but were out of at that time, but the person at the register was nice enough to show me on her phone the flavors that they usually have. The food was very flavorful, aside from the Pork Bulgogi. Bae was using the Elite testing options as she was chosen for the visit while I ordered whatever I wanted. She got the Pork Bulgogi and I tried it and it didn't have much flavor. Maybe it was the piece I got but I was very happy with the fried chicken that I got and the Mandoo. Both were extremely well cooked and seasoned, came out piping hot, and were very juicy. The chicken even held up to be good enough to eat the next day, as well as the Mandoo. Bae liked the Cucumber Kimchi, macaroni salad, and Japanae noodles. When you walk in it is just your typical strip mall restaurant, not really much ambiance to speak of. There is a hallway of seating but I believe most orders are pickup as the cashier kept expressing how everything is better if you're picking up to order ahead or if you have a specific order in mind or already know what you want they'll have it ready or something. The chairs are very basic metal seats, definitely not meant for anyone with back issues. There were a few pictures on the wall, and I did not see the bathroom. I say this is worth a try because of the food and the friendly service. I don't necessarily think I would recommend dining in but their food is worth a try however you decide to do so!
Amazingggg food!! Jennie, the cashier, was super sweet and so fun to chat with. She gave great recommendations and really knew the menu well. We tried the garlic butter shrimp and the honey garlic soy chicken--both were incredible! The flavors were bold, the crispiness was perfect, and honestly the honey garlic chicken was better than other Korean fried chicken places I've tried, including Bonchon and k.bbq. The garlic shrimp was perfectly crispy and not overly battered at all. I love all the garlic flavor! For sides, we got the japchae, kimchi, potato salad, and fish cake. The potato salad was interesting because it was big chunks of potato and tasted like it's mixed with kewpie mayo. Everything was fresh and delicious. The inside has a few tables, and I loved that the sides are displayed up front so you can see everything. It smelled amazing the second we walked in. Big portions too! Jennie told us 2 people can split the regular plate depending on hungry they are. Can't wait to come back to try more items!
I liked coming here. This restaurant isn't fancy. Everything is simple. I was greeted by a nice lady. She seemed knowledgeable and gave advice on handling the to go box. I learned something new. The chicken was good, but the breading was very brown. The broccoli was too salty, but didn't ruin my experience altogether. I love the cucumber kimchi.
Great Mom & Pop locally owned Korean/Hawaiian Fusion restaurant. Service was very friendly. Small eating area so plan accordingly in case there are no seats/tables. Worst case, enjoy in the parking lot and grab a scoop of Hansel's after (same parking lot, 3 min walk). They were kind enough to switch my initial order from the fried chicken to the BBQ chicken after my initial order. Food tasted great and the free "mini" plate was gigantic! Not sure if that is the normal portioning but there was plenty food in there. What a great find and will definitely revisit when in that area.
My husband and I have been wanting to try Jin's Korean BBQ since we moved into the neighborhood and we finally got a chance to go there for lunch. We both love Korean food and my husband lived in Korea for 2 years. We both loved our dishes we order. I got the mini, sweet and spicy shrimp, with edamame and cucumber kimchi. Excellent! My husband got the regular Bulgogi, with the kimchi and also the cucumber kimchi. He enjoyed his dish as well. The portions were so large, we had enough for dinner too. Stacey, the manager, was very attentive and made sure we were okay and enjoyed our meal. The restaurant was small, but very nicely decorated and clean. We were very happy and can't wait to return and try their other dishes too. It's only about 3 mins from us and that's a great bonus too!
Wow first of all, this portion is insane. Only ordered one plate for 2 people because theres no way I would have finished all of this by myself. Even with 2 people eating, we had enough for left overs the next day. There wasnt anyone eating inside. It was a quick 20 minutes maybe even less to actually get the food out. The sides and sauce that the entrees come with are sweet and a little sour and savory. It really brings out the flavor of the meat very good. They have a big menu so theres definitely something for everyone here.
Large portions! Don't expect a grab and go style, everything is cooked fresh to order, which makes the meats fresh and juicy! I ordered the Aloha plate, 2 choices of meat, 4 banchan and rice. Had the meat jun and original fried chicken. Meat Jun was plenty (see picture) with mildly seasoned meat inside. The korean fried chicken was delicious! Crispy and tasty outside with a juicy inside. All the banchan(sides) were all mildly seasoned, authentic Korean style, just like my recent visit to Korea. The Kim chee was more "sour" style to me instead of the americanized hot and salty. This food takes me back to Hawaii (Yummy's Bbq). The meat Juns delicious. The kalbi is delicious and all the banchan is delicious. The photos speak for themselves. I highly recommend their garlic salt chicken. I wasn't expecting anything from it. I was skeptical, but because I heard only good things about it I had to try it. I'm glad I did! Quick and friendly service! Ordered the Aloha Plate and was able to swap out the rice for another side. Yangnyeom chicken (4/5) - Drumstick had dry meat but the larger chunks were juicy! Love the crispy and how saucy it was. Kalbi (5/5) - flavorful, juicy, and delicious! Definitely recommend the Japchae, pickled onions, and seaweed sides! Japchae was seasoned well. Pickled onions were a good cut to the oiliness of the other items - it has jalapeño so be wary of spice! Seaweed side was nice and pickled. It could've been chopped up a bit so you're not eating huge chunks, but I enjoyed it. The potato salad and the bean sprouts weren't my jam. Potato salad was grainy while the bean sprouts didn't have much flavor. Overall definitely coming back! Parking was also super easy. This is a small place with a few tables but I saw a lot of customers order to go. Build-your-plate spots are dangerous because I want everything!! Loved being able to mix and match and create the perfect combo. Come hungry or share it with someone to try different plates What I ate at Jin's Korean BBQ Spicy Pork Kalbi Short Rib Honey Soy Garlic Chicken Passion Fruit Lychee All plates come with rice and your choice of sides - Mini (2 sides) and regular (4 sides) I would say, go big or go home on this one! The food at this Jin's location is just as good as the one on lake mead. The lady that served us at the OG location goes back and forth to both and she helped us at this one too lol. I do like the the way this one has the lighting and a little paint goes a long way to make it a lot more appealing before you walk in and order. Being this was an old Subway location it is rather small if you want to eat in, they largest seating is a 2 seater tables that would be hard to combine because the walk way is very narrow. Other than that I love the food here and since this one is closer to where I live I know I'll be coming back often, the prices and portions have been winning me over compared to going to Hippo grill which is only 2 minutes from my house and Jim's is 15 minutes, hopefully that would give you an indication as to how good this spot is. Another thing I love about this location is the fried chicken is with the bone in and skin on, so when you have them do it extra crispy, it's just so darn good. read more

If you've never left a restaurant with your to-go box looking like it just survived a CrossFit session... welcome to Jin's Korean BBQ. When I tell you the portions are massive, I mean they had to slap a rubber band around my plate like it was holding on for dear life. At that point, it's not takeout. It's a survival kit. And somehow, despite the portion chaos, every bite still tasted like it was made with intention. The meat jun? Easily some of the best I've had. Perfectly seasoned, tender, and dangerously addictive. And don't even get me started on the honey sweet garlic chicken. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and coated in this sticky, gooey, flavor-packed glaze that should honestly be illegal. To top it all off, the owner was incredibly kind and accommodating like the kind of person who makes you want to come back before you've even left! He even handed me a free iced coffee which at that point felt less like a bonus and more like a reward. Even the young girl that was working the front was so very sweet and kind. Food reminds me of the Korean food back home in Hawaii! Comparable to Gina or Pearls Korean Food on Oahu and would recommend stopping in if you're from the islands and looking for that home style feel. Banchans are delicious and their Korean fried chicken is fire! Prices are fair and portions are huge, been here twice in the last 2 weeks, which is not usual for us. The biggest plate lunch I've ever seen in my whole entire existence. Pricey but worth every penny, it's literally 2 meals in one. If I lived in this area I'd eat here 4 times a week. My life in Vegas is finally complete, been looking for a take out Korean bbq spot just like "Yummy's" and "Peppas" back home on Oahu and I found it. Made to order, entrees tasted fresh and so delicious. The side dishes are everything, I love the jap chae, kim chi, potato salad and beans sprouts (could use a little more sesame oil and sesame seeds) I got the meat jun and original fried chicken, phenomenal. My plate was given to me open, the lid could not close because of how massive it was. Service was outstanding, inside is clean and lots of parking. If you're not willing to wait for food I suggest calling ahead of time to order because the wait can range from 15 - 20 minutes depending on how busy. Definitely coming back! read more
We moved from Hawaii and miss the delicious Korean bbq in takeout boxes with choice of banchan (side dishes) with our favorites being tbeir cucumber kim chi, macaroni salad, fish cake, radish kim chee and nap chae (sesame noodle salad). FINALLY we have found delicious Korean bbq with delicious banchan with GENEROUS portion enough for 2-3 meals. We have been coming here for about a year and found their fried chicken is juicy, crispy, and delicious with a light golden batter. We have tried all their flavors, but my favorite is the Yangnyeom chicken (choice of bone-in or boneless). My hubny loves their bbq chicken and their fried mandoo (pork and veggie dumplings). Our friend got theor Aloha Plate and chose the fried garlic shrimp and mandoo. The owners are friendly and everyone smiles and gives top-notch customer service! They even offer 4 free mandoo Mon-Thur with orders over a certain amount. We have found our favorite Korean bbq spot in Vegas and will tell our friends and family about Jin's Korean BBQ. They have 2 locations, and our preferred one is on Tropicana & Hualapai. read more
First off, service is amazing! They are so friendly and warm! The portions are huge! My husband and I eat a lot and we could've easily shared a two entrée aloha plate. However, we did order a regular size plate of meat Jun and a regular size plate of kalbi it did not disappoint! Kalbi 10/10 The meat Jun 20 out of 10! if you're from Hawaii, this is the closest to tastys! The vegetables were OK, I'll have to try more to find my favorite there . I probably ate less than half of my regular size plate and was already super full! That's how much they give! but I will definitely be going back for the meat jun and kalbi again! They give a lot of rice too! Like I said, I think an aloha plate with the two choices would've been perfect and we wouldn't have even had to get extra rice! The ambiance is clean and chill! If you are looking for good quality ono Hawaii kbbq fast food like yummys or pearls the meatjun is saucy great portion lots of meatjun and lots of rice, bbq chicken both is AMAZING. Meatjun sauce just right, the rice is good not dry and not too soft just like Hawaii. Service and waiting time quit and easy to understand very kind. I prefer to go to their first location (lake mead) instead of this one. I am pretty disappointed. The meat in the meat jun is so thin. They disguise it by making the egg batter thick. I've never had meat jun where it had a texture and thickness of a korean pancake. I felt like it needed more flavor including the japchae and fish cake. At the other location I barely used the sauce because the meat jun was already sweet on its own. On top of the high prices they charged a 3% convenience fee. Idk if it's because I paid with a card, but they should put a disclaimer out near the cash register. I was surprised when I saw my receipt! read more

I love Korean BBQ, but I didn't feel like going to a place where you have to cook your own meats, even though that seems to be very popular nowadays. Instead, I searched for a more casual spot that serves great Korean food and offers takeout options. I came across Jin's Korean BBQ and noticed all the excellent reviews and high star ratings. The food pictures looked mouthwatering, showcasing all the delicious aspects of Korean cuisine, including various side dishes. My wife and I decided to try the Aloha plate, and it did not disappoint! The food was not only delicious, but the portions were more than enough for two people. We thoroughly enjoyed all the side dishes and felt we got great value for our money. I would definitely come here again. I highly recommend this place if you want great Korean food at a great price. Be ready to leave feeling stuffed! read more
8/10/25 this place popped up on my Yelp. So why not check this place out. I believe they have a couple locations but we came to this location on W. Tropicana. Was not as busy. We ordered take out of Aloha plate which consist of 2 choices. We opted for the honey soy garlic fried chicken and meat jun. Since it was a regular plate we had 4 sides to choose from. We got the radish kimchee, broccoli, jap chae, and potato salad (the potatoes was slightly hard and need more cooking). Meat Jun was okay, needs more flavor. The honey soy garlic fried chicken was good but I notice a "star anise" taste in it that I don't care for. Sides were good but compared to the Yelp picture , customers were given more. Place was clean and staff is friendly. Positive thing is it's cook to order. Probly try this place one more time to determine if I'll be back and invite others. This is the closest thing I can find to having a place like Yummy's back home in Hawaii! They pack your plate very well here! I was able to feed my family of 5 with 2 plates! Ive been here probably every week since they've opened this location! The chicken is cooked to perfection. So juicy and tender! It's a must try. We always get the Original. From the wonderful customer service to the delicious food. Everything we experienced was phenomenal. I couldn't wait to look when we got home so I took a photo as soon as we got in the car. From the smell alone, you can tell how appetizing the food is. Love everything we tried. My favorite was the Kalbi ribs, meat jun and potato salad. After we finished everything, I wanted to come back and get more. The staff and everyone was also very friendly, I went with my baby and bf and we had a great time. read more

The best KBBQ takeout! They don't shy away from the portion size either, definitely worth the price. I got the Aloha Plate (starting at $10.50) with the bulgogi and mandu as my 2 entrees - totaling $19.50 The plate can definitely feed 2 people, so if you are a first timer you can try out one of their mini portions. Or portion for lunch and dinner So glad there is a korean food in the summerlin area! No need to drive too far out for good eats. read more

We were so excited to find out that Jin's opened a location near us! The food is exceptional, the portions are beyond generous, and the staff are amazing!
