    Spicy creamy vegan ramen (4.5/5)

I tried the spicy creamy vegan ramen and karaage (Japanese style fried chicken). Both were delicious and I'd give them 4.5 stars - the only reason why I rounded down instead of up is because both dishes were on the salty side.

Smaller Jinya, but what you can expect from any of their locations. Service is efficient (though not as friendly as I expected). Food is delicious and consistent. I love getting the kids meal. You get fries, fried chicken, ramen, oranges, salad, rice and meat, and a sucker and ice cream!!! All for around $12. It's great to split between 2 kids.

We ordered takeout from here as we usually do once in a blue moon. Service is quick and food is so hot that by the time we get the food and drive 15-20 minutes back to our house, the food is still just the right heat temperature-wise to eat. This time I tried the Birria special, while my husband had his usual Tonkatsu Red. The specials are a good change to mix things up a bit, but we still love Tonkatsu Red the most.

Wonderful experience our server was 10/10 in amazing with service, patient , friendly and informative . We ordered 2 flights and since y'all were out of one of the beers my sister ordered the bartender came with one extra just in case she didn't like the replacement (which by the way was a great call because she definitely Preferred the extra over the replacement) We ordered the Crispy Chicken which tbh wasn't the best small plate to order since I ordered the Pork Chashu Bowl it just didn't mix (pork & chicken in one sitting never again. ) but the shocker was I am not a fan of jelly egg yokes but this seasoned egg I actually enjoyed it which was the first and only time I've ever eaten and enjoyed eggs cooked that way my compliments to the chef and recipe creator. My sister ordered the JINYA Tonkotsu Black which I regret not ordering for myself though I did get to taste and loved it ! Can't wait to return again and hopefully we can get to enjoy the outside (fireside) dining . All in all great atmosphere and wonderful staff .

First timer here! Jinya did not disappoint. I had the spicy chicken ramen; my husband enjoyed his salmon poke bowl and wonton chicken ramen. The kids meal was alot of food. However the kids ramen has absolutely zero flavor in the broth. My son used my spicy chicken broth to flavor his food. I had the passion fruit lemonade, very refreshing. Food was a bit pricey. Overall, I would definitely come back.

Well with such good reviews we decided to give this place a try - everything was tasting great until I took a bite of the side salad and about gagged all my food out as I had a mouthful of long blond hair we told out waitress but the manager was too busy to address it, so even though the food was good - if you like it "hair free" guess to somewhere else!

I first tried this spot for date night last year with my husband and instantly fell in love. This time I came back by myself and had the Spicy chicken ramen and it was delicious. I love the spinach and bean sprouts that are in the ramen. The server was nice and attentive, and I enjoyed the good service.

First time visiting this awesome Ramen bar in the Exchange and boy was I surprised at how good it was. Great food, good service and fair prices. The pork bun was off the chain goodness and I am already looking forward to my next one.

TAKE OUT EXPERIENCE here on a Friday night. 2 people, just me & my husband. $72 plus tip. A little pricey, but hang with me. We live about 10 minutes from The Exchange at Buford. Absolutely beautiful & so many fun restaurants to choose from. Careful driving, it's an interesting lot to navigate & lots of folks to not hit!! Attempted twice to place online order, but shut down twice. I called & the associate said it's been an issue for 2 days. She took my order on the phone & was super sweet about it. Jinya Ramin Bar is in the back, sort of middle of the compound. Nice place, casual & trendy! No problem picking up- easy & friendly! Got home & taken back by the TINY sizes, but.... Don't let the size fool ya. Inside is the most amazing flavor & it all works. Salmon & Shrimp Tacos we filled ourselves & they packed nicely- GREAT flavor. Maybe a great appetizer, NOT meal size!! Tuna on crispy rice- delicious! Appetizer size or that can be a side to another sm poke bowl. I got the large Poke Bowl- SO GOOD & way more food than I expected- a do over! Hubby LOVED his ramen & we will come back, AS A TREAT. See pics & notice the TINY to-go containers, lol! Again, $72 & tip. 2 people with takeout.

Spicy Tuna Tacos were straight fire crispy and bold. The Buffalo Cauliflower came in like a sleeper hit... no right being that good. Perfect crunch, perfect heat. 100% worth the cheat meal. Service was great along with fun vibing atmosphere!

I'm going to go ahead and slide Jinya into the "frequent repeat" category. I'll admit this isn't my first trip to Jinya. I wanted to hold off until trying a few additional dishes over a few visits. Jinya has won over this Japanese food lover! Sure it's officially a ramen bar, and there are so many to choose from. There are even gluten free, and even impossible meat options. But don't sleep on the "others"! The menu is absolutely jam packed with classic favorites and new creative items alike. Salads, Mini tacos, Pork buns, rice bowls, and even kids meals. The Tonkotsu black is a crowd favorite, and for good reason. Chashu, Green onion, dried seaweed, seasoned egg, garlic chips, garlic oil, fried onion, and a spice sauce. Did I forget anything? A beautiful marriage of textures and flavor. I def think the broth would be even better if spicier, but the chashu and noodles are the star here. The chashu basically melts in your mouth, while the choice to go with a thinner noodle doesn't overwhelm the bowl and allows others to shine. Can we direct our attention to the Brussels sprouts tempura?! Brussels sprouts encased in a light and crispy tempura batter, drizzle with a touch of truffle oil. I can't seem to find the words to describe how magical this is. I wanted so bad to scarf this entire bowl down, but knowing how much my wife enjoys sprouts, I had to show restraint. Probably the hardest thing I've ever had to do in the name of love lol. I certainly did not come here for a vegetable based appetizer, but bar none, the best vegetable dish I've probably ever had!! In an area that is densely populated with an insane amount of Asian options, Jinya is a must. Great modern space, friendly staff, great energy, and even greater food. It hits the spot every...single...time...

The tables are way too close to one another (I felt like I was in Paris). It feels cramped, with no conversation privacy because you are touching your neighbors. The restaurant was dark, and the menu was small, making reading it impossible. Service & food was good, but I prefer the Alpharetta location. The bathrooms needed to be cleaned and I'm unsure who designed it with the toilet paper so low to the ground. I wanted to love this location since it's close to our house, but I'm not everyone in my conversation.

Sadly I must give this place a 3 star rating, despite its other good reviews. From the get-go, the music was really loud and the atmosphere inside did not feel like a Japanese ramen spot, more like a bar with food. It was really chaotic when I was eating and really dim inside too, I could barely read the menu. The ramen itself was okay, the flavor of the soup was fine but I wasn't particularly impressed by anything. The noodles felt slightly undercooked and they only gave two small pieces of pork in the ramen. It was at a good price point for all that it came with without any additions, but it didn't have much personality. Just a heavy, slightly salty ramen. Service was fine, but also not particularly impressive. Everyone seemed busy and like they didn't have time for anybody.

I would like to say I planned the perfect date, but as some of the best things in life, this was just an impromptu visit to cap off an already great evening. Outside of being on the rooftop, the bar itself is upscale yet approachable, service was fast and friendly. Being a bit of a self engrandized home bartender I'm a bit critical when out of my home lab, but their Smoked Old Fashioned wasn't bad. ("Wasn't bad" really means very good.") While I don't love the prices and hate paying a cover charge, when you throw in live music, a great vibe, and a view, I can't really complain. The owner made an announcement that whoever tipped the band $10 would get a free drink, and since most drinks were over $15 I thought that was cool on many levels. Will definitely be back to The Rooftop!

We walked around and finally ran into a waitress who told us to sit anywhere we wished inside or outside. The only area festive was inside a closed igloo and no heaters were on outdoors which was just a tad too cool for me despite the super nice weather that day. It would have been so to sit outside but without the warmth of the heaters we headed inside. We placed our order and explained we were just there for a pre-dinner drink and wanted to check out the venue so we didn't leave our tab open but we were quickly served the fabulous taking drinks on their menu(s). The Old Fashioned was on the regular menu and the Russian was on their seasonal tabletop menu. Server was very nice and took photos for some ladies we met. The only reason I can't give them a 5 star is they claim they are big on hospitality but yet we were not acknowledged upon arrival. Many restaurants and even some retail stores have a way to ensure they say hello/welcome immediately when you enter and without a hostess - the mindset should be that the bar or wait staff have a way to immediately say hello or welcome so those who have never been feel welcomed as well as those who frequently come. It would be nice to have a more festive decor for the holidays but that didn't affect my review; just a statement to say that the entire Sugar Hill area was pumping and themed with the holiday spirit then we walked in the only area decorated was not even accessible nor was it offered as an option to enjoy.

The grits were the standout item for me. We learned they are made with locally sourced grits from a North Georgia mill, and the cheese combination created an incredibly creamy texture and rich flavor. The coffee was excellent as well and was served in a large mug that we really appreciated. We also discovered that the coffee is sourced from a small local roaster in Johns Creek, which fits perfectly with the restaurant's commitment to supporting local businesses. The dining area is somewhat small, but there is bar seating and outdoor seating available, which provides additional options. We also found out they have a second location in Johns Creek near our neighborhood, so we'll definitely be giving that one a try soon. The good parts didn't outweigh the not-so-good for me. 1. Located on the 9th floor of The Westin, BUT, parking is mad affordable, which is a big relief as usually hotel rooftops have a static valet parking fee for $25 or more. There is a garage right in front of the entrance and its 5 bucks for up to 4 hours. 2. Views - decent enough for the 9th floor, but mostly overlooks trees and some highways. There isn't much to actually look at as far as a skyline. I was here in the daytime though, maybe at night with whatever city lights coming in, it may be a lil more charming. 3. Ambience - the inside was really nice, the tables were big and seating was comfy, a combo of cushioned chairs and velvety booths or couches. nice decor, and the outside portion of the rooftop also seemed very spacious, with a big main area as well as seating & a few more tables down the side of the building. I went during the yacht rock brunch period, so there was a live DJ spinning old hits from the 70s/80s. the music was at a cool volume, not so loud that you can't hear anyone speak, but not too low like background music - loud enough that you feel like its okay to vibe out. 4. Food & Service - this is where it fell apart for me. when i was seated, it took about 15-20 minutes for my waitress to come and ask me what i wanted to drink. when she finally did, i realized this same woman had walked past me several times before, on the way to do nothing in particular. she didn't introduce herself but was polite. she brought out my coffee and took my order, it took an hour for my food to come out. and the place wasn't crowded. only 2 couples sitting outside and about 40% capacity ithe indoor section where I was. and the food was subpar. it all came out hot, BUT. chicken sausage was hard to bite because casing was burnt and tough. eggs were cooked with so much butter it just tasted like i was eating fluffy butter. biscuit was dry and couldn't possibly be homemade. 'parmesan potatoes' had a few sad dried dots of cheese and parsley but no seasoning whatsoever. i forced myself to eat about half. I live far from Duluth, so really no reason to come back. Maybe a nighttime hang with drinks only, on the outdoor terrace would be a slightly better experience. But I don't have to find out.
