Every time I come to this nail spa, my nails turn out beautiful. This is the 5th time I've been here and I shared a picture with them and they did exactly what I asked. The only thing I was a little surprised about was that the person taking off my powder nails from a previous visit wanted to use a plastic nail to take off my old nails. I told him it hurt and he was able to soak them after. Also, I will be asking for the price in the future. This cost me $80 even though my nails were used and not acrylics (including the $10 soak off). I've gone other places and here previously and have never been charged more than $55 for getting my actual nails painted. This has happened previously as well. I came to get a full two months apart and I was charged two different prices. I will ask for the price up front in the future. I was referred to JN Nails by my coworker Tiffany. Her nails looked beautiful everytime she got them done. She told me to call and book with Helen. I called trying to book but some Man picked up with a very rude and unpleasant tone. He seemed preoccupied and was speaking in a different language to someone and hands the phone to another person who starts yelling loud. "I am booked" and the call ends. I try calling back thinking maybe the call dropped. No same Man speaking very fast and rushing me off the phone saying if I want to book with any available person it's OK but Helen is busy. I had an appointment for a full set-$75 total. Upon entry, I noticed that it's a small and quaint salon. Inside is pretty clean and everyone seems friendly. I was told to wash my hands and go to table 5. There were already two individuals at the sink, so i stood by table 5 until the area cleared. My nail tech, Uyen, was finishing up another client's pedicure. She stopped what she was doing and very rudely told me I need to wash my hands. I told her I know, but the sink is being used.... whatever we move forward. She just kept treating me like I was incompetent, which I did not like. Maybe she was having an off day, but you shouldn't take it out on others, especially when we're using our hard earned money towards a service you provide. Be nice to your customers, they're the reason you're a success. Overall, my nails came out beautifully. Will I be back? Definitely. Will I go to Uyen? I wouldn't recommend this place. I paid $50 for a full set just for all of the nails to be lifting within a week. One of the nails actually lifted so much and it hurt so much, now you can see under the nail and my hair is constantly getting caught under the nail. read more

I had an okay experience here. I don't remember the name of the guy that did my nails but it was awkward for sure when he was doing my nails. He had an AirPod in one of his ears and he barely said a word to me . The only time he spoke to me was when he asked to see my inspo pic and when he wanted me to switch my hands. He never asked me if I like the shape of my nails when he filed it. He just kept doing his own thing. I tipped and gave him 10 dollars and he didn't even say thank you or anything like that . The nails itself were pretty nice . I got many compliments on it. I would give this place a second chance but probably with a different nail tech that works there. read more

The manager of this place John is DEPLORABLE!! If I could rate this establishment zero stars I would. I had a broken toe nail so I called in ADVANCE to see if they were able to do acrylic overlay. The man answered the phone and said "yes we are able to do it, come in we can do it for you." I show up 15 minutes later and I get placed with an older woman with a clear language barrier who began doing Dip on my toe which is not what I wanted. So I politely told John that I wanted acrylic overlay and he tried to convince me that dip was better because she already started. I told him no thank you I would like acrylic overlay and he immediately got angry. He stated "well I have to do it for you!" And I responded that's okay. He came over to me yanked my foot to the point where I told him "you are being kind of rough." He began speaking in a mix of Vietnamese and English to a gentlemen next to him and the English part was "don't come back." I responded to him and said are you referring to me? Are you telling me not to come back?" He proceeded to ignore me and was slamming his instruments in the containers to the point where people were staring and looking over. I have never been so embarrassed at an establishment like this. And I called BEFORE I arrived to alleviate this. Avoid this place like the plague!!! I love this beautiful upscale shop. I met John at another shop he worked at, and I followed him when he opened his shop. There is no way that I couldn't. John is very creative and pays attention to detail, and my nails always come out better than I pictured. He's always kind and courteous, along with the other nail techs.
