What an interesting spot! lol It's kind of like a fancy fast food joint, in the sense of the food is definitely NOT fast food but delicious. So you walk up and when we arrived (on a Saturday around 9am) there is a line out the door. I was a little nervous because that line was LONG. But it moved fast. I think we were in line maybe 10 minutes at most. You order your food and drink at the register and then it's self seating. A waitress comes by and says she'll be helping with drinks and stuff but I don't think we ever saw her again. Our food came out quickly but they forgot a few things on my sister's order that we had to snag someone walking by for about 3 times vs getting in that long line again. Same for the coffee--which was REALLY tasty. You kind of just have to lasso someone for assistance. Overall the food was really good, I really enjoyed the coffee and the inside was spacious and nice and cool. It was a packed diner but I never felt like it was too loud or I couldn't hear my sister talking. Afterwards we walked around the area, they have tons of little shops nearby and a coffee shop! Definitely will be back, even if it is a little chaotic in the beginning. lol read more

We came here for dinner around Friday 5pm before the rush and it was very busy! No line at the time but all the indoor tables were filled. Luckily, we found a table and someone to clear it. There were tons of kids and it was very loud, so just a heads up! I ordered the BBQ Bacon Blue Bird sandwich with Asian coleslaw for my side. We also got an order of my fave, the Fried Zucchinis! I got to try a shrimp that was surprisingly huge. Everything was quite pricey but it was good. I often purchase bread and other baked goods at nearby Source and noticed the queues and full parking lot at Joe's Farm Grill. Joe's was added to our give-it-a-go list and this past weekend we, along with childhood-friend couple, gave it a go. A Thai Chicken salad, patty melt, chicken burger and cheeseburger were ordered and happily consumed. But wait. That's not all. Noting Diners, Drive-ins & Dives featured Joe's garlic fries and onion rings they were a must on this our first visit. Delicious. All of our food was slurped down by lovely strawberry (real strawberries) and chocolate malts, and a coca cola. We, and our friends, will join the hundreds in our queue and return again. Every time I've been here, the line is out the door! You order at the counter, find a table inside or outside (in the cool weather now!), and your food will be brought to you. My family came for dinner on a Monday around 5:30pm for a family birthday. They give a $16 discount with photo ID on your birthday - such a great deal! The line moved pretty slowly with just one cashier, but then it picked up after they added another. Our food arrived pretty quickly, about 10 minutes or less. I got the Fried Chicken Tenders + One Side ($16). Upgraded my side to garlic fries (+$3.5). The garlic fries have great flavor, but at the bottom is a lot of olive oil. The 4 pieces of chicken tenders were crunchy and delicious with ranch. The ranch tasted house-made which is awesome. The entree also comes with a pickle and a slice of bread. The bread was just okay, not too much flavor. My family loved the BBQ Sampler + Two Sides ($20). It comes with so much food - pulled pork, ribs, two sauce-dipped chicken tenders. The sampler was enough for 2-3 people. We also tried the Date Shake, which is or was available for a limited time. It tasted like a vanilla soft serve mixed with ground up dates. It was good, but nothing special. Overall, we had a great meal and left with full bellies! Note: They don't do reservations, so plan ahead to wait in a long line. How do you know when a place is good? When the line goes out the door none stop. This place is an old farm house converted into a bustling restaurant, the food here and service is off the hook fantastic. Their menu is excellent, if you can't find something here that you like to eat then....honestly there is something seriously wrong with you! There is plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. You have to go to use the restrooms " trust me.... Come up with an excuse and go use one of there restrooms" they all have different themed with Barbie and GI Joe dolls with a cartoon playing on a tv. Ok now for the food: I ordered the honey mustard glazed chicken & waffles and a over the top chocolate chip cookie milkshake, wifey ordered their salmon and a Date Shake and the 4 of us ordered a slice of their homemade strawberry cheesecake. The cheesecake is hands down the cheesecake I've ever had! " Cheesecake Factory, who?" Seriously it was airy, dense, and moist all at the same time. " sounds like a contradiction, but trust me it's not." And don't get me started on the strawberry sauce. The honey mustard chicken was just banging good!! I got 3 super moist cutlets on 2 large waffles with butter and warm pancake syrup. The fried battered chicken had a hint of honey mustard. All the flavors are well balanced, simply delicious. My milkshake was huge and was honestly enough for 2 people. It came with whipped cream and a cherry on top. Under the whip cream was a homemade chocolate chip cookie and the chocolate chip milkshake had small chunks of chocolate chip cookie in it as well. As I said earlier the service is impeccable and the employees are all very nice. They do have long lines but it moves fast. We placed an online pick up order here based on great reviews and healthy eats. We headed there a bit early so we could check out the farm, and I'm so glad we did. It has a expansive property with a farm feel inside the city. We stopped through the interior, to check on the order, and it has a rustic, chip and joanna feel inside. We waited outside on a picnic table in, taking in the sights and sounds, and even smells! There were a lot of family and friendly get together for a Sunday evening. It's very kid friendly as there is a lot of room to stretch out. The bathrooms are also outside, but clean and kept. Overall, the food was good, and the atmosphere was even better. My husband and I tried Joe's Farm Grill many years ago and didn't love their grilled sandwich due to the oil taste. We thought we'd try it again late last week but this time, try the burgers. Parking was a bit chaotic if you have kids like mine who don't love to walk a long distance. Thankfully, we lucked out this time and got one around the corner. The line was quite long to order. My husband and I decided to divide and conquer- one orders whilst the other gets a table indoors. The young girl at the register was very nice and greeted me with a big smile. She helped me place two kids meals and two burgers (farm grill and 4b). Food came out not too long after. Kids smashed through their meals - yayyy! Husband and I loved the burgers. The meat was well seasoned and it didn't require sauces to make the burger edible like other places. Bathrooms were outside but were clean and had a change table for babies. Ordered the Nashville chicken. It didn't seem to know what it wanted to be. I didn't taste the chicken, or the sauce. And while I felt the peppers, I didn't really taste them. The chicken was a substantial piece. If you blindfolded me and had me take a bite, I couldn't have told you what I was eating. I might have guessed something with chili powder. The bun was oily for no reason. Fries were cold, but when I commented on it, they replaced them with fresh/hot fries. Service was very good. This was new for me. I usually get the BBQ plate, but I wanted to do something new. I would not recommend the Nashville chicken sandwich. And, as my previous review, even their BBQ isn't as good as it once was. I've come here occasionally for years, and it seems their quality is going down. At least that's what I think. They're still wildly popular, based on the crowd. read more

A Gilbert staple! Some of the "gotta try it" menu items are kind of mid and the pricing is bit inflated, but the ingredients are fresh, farm-to-table, and endorsed by Guy Fieri. Big fans of the onion rings here along with any of the burgers. Random items like pizza, chili cheese dogs, BBQ, and ahi tuna sandwiches make for some menu fatigue, but all the items on the menu are solid. Milkshakes and cookies here are very good. I have been to this restaurant so many times I've lost count. I've always tried to get something different and this time I got the Bacon BBQ Bleu cheeseburger and a side of their onion rings. The onion rings never, I mean NEVER disappoint and they did not this time. The homemade ranch is amazing. The burger was good don't get me wrong, but the description has bleu cheese and there was 1 dime size dollop on it. I was a little bummed. Joe's Farm Grill is one of my favorite local places to eat at and definitely someplace I bring out of towners too. It's a great place to get food, milkshakes and desserts and then walk around after! The long line might be a bit intimidating but I promise it goes faster than it looks. I recommend going on a week day if you don't want to wait that long or even ordering online! My favorite thing to get here is the Waffles + Ribs. Hear me out - the ribs on top of the waffles just makes the waffles even softer and so flavorful because of the bbq sauce. The service, atmosphere and the outdoor location shakes it up for from the norm and it feels like a mini vacation escape. Lunch time on the weekend will always have the line out the door but it will move fast (IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU WANT... hint hint, that's why the menus' are available while in line). I was prompt and order the Chili Cheese Fries, 2 Farm Burgers, one with Gouda cheese & Asian Slaw as a side, the other with the ghost hot pepper jack & Caesar salad. Also had a full order of Baby Back Ribs with house salad and fruit (yeah, I was trying to balance it all with the fruit :-)). Unfortunately, I wanted to place an order for the Cookies, but was told they wouldn't be available until later in the day as the ovens were loaded with Cheesecakes. Chili Cheese fries were as expected. Ribs were good and sauced well. The hot pepper jack cheese was spicy as advertised but the feedback on both burgers were they needed some more seasoning on the patty. The staff was bringing out orders quickly and refilling drinks. Clearing the tables is a priority, but no matter how fast the staff moves, the birds always get to it with the quickness... They misheard and brought out garlic oil. The burger would taste so much better with garlic aioli! Also needed more onions too. The garlic fries were good though. My friend liked her pulled pork sandwich but said it needed more bbq sauce. She ended up asking for extra. My other friend said one of her waffles was a bit undercooked but they remade her another! By far my favorite place to eat in Gilbert. It's a little pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for--I never finish everything on my plate. My go-to is the Ahi Tuna Sandwich, and the fried zucchini is always fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is great as well. I couldn't recommend this place more. read more

One of my favorite restaurants in Gilbert! This is a very quaint restaurant with cottage/farm/family vibes. Outside, there are plenty of places to take pictures featuring gardens and white picket fences. I like getting their ahi tuna burger, which comes with an ample serving of fries. They have a pretty extensive menu, so there's something for everyone. Lots of staff bustling around and willing to help. I typically come on my birthday, as they will comp one entree. Ahi tuna sandwich with fries and a separate aide order of beet salad were today's delectable order to make my day and I'm so happy to have lots leftovers for dinner later! The staff are always wonderful and friendly! It's rare that I ever come in and there isn't a long-ish line snaking up to the order counter but it moves fast! There were patrons of every walk of life inside and outside enjoying their wonderful foods gorgeous weather we're currently having.
