Check them out indeed I volunteered in their fall program. And once you get a look and taste of exquisite greens from Agua Dulce you won't go back to buying crappy greens on the shelf of stores. Holy smokes after seeing how they are committed to sustainably raising this farm and seeing the operations close up with every aspect of aquaponics, seeding, transplanting, and harvesting vegetable crops, and feeding and harvesting fish, I was sold. A truly self sustaining certified-Organic urban farm located in southeast Austin, Texas. Now they only sell on Saturdays at SEC Farmers Market downtown 9am-1pm to the public and restaurants come buy up the rest so I dare you to go inspect how superior their greens are. Go early! And oh the variety! I go spend $20-40 every week and get an amazing variety to sauté up, or salad or enjoy into a smoothie. My cells and health appreciate the huge variety of nutrients I get every week. I feel so terrific eating their greens! Variety: mizuno, mustard, watercress, butter lettuces, bok choy, tsat su, arugula, parsley, rosemary, cilantro, kale, swiss chard, onions, eggplant, strawberries and the list goes on. I'll take some photos of their booth next time I go and share.

Keeps your car cooler in the Texas heat and there are shopping cart friendly escalators to get your groceries easily back to the car. The produce selection at this Whole Foods is insane! Any type of produce that you could want or need can be found in either traditional or organic format. They also have an extensive seafood counter with very knowledgeable staff to help you make a selection. With a dedicated area for fresh sushi, a barbecue selection, freshly made sandwiches, prepared foods, a hot bar, and a salad bar all of your grocery needs can be met here. At the front of the store, there's also a fantastic coffee bar so you can remain caffeinated while you shop. They're seating area if you pick up a little something and want to have a bite to eat before or after you get your groceries. There's additional seating upstairs as well as an outdoor area. If you are an Amazon prime member, be sure to shop the sales to save a little bit of money. Weekly specials are designated with a yellow tag, and it shows the sale price as well as the further reduced price for Amazon prime members. And if you are a tourist visiting Austin, one of the more Instagram-able photo stops is at the corner in front of Whole Foods...the ATX sign.

I need Diet Coke and food that is bad for me too. We come here probably once or twice a week. The Amazon return center is super convenient. There's a self serve kiosk too. Major plus. Our second stop is juice land and then the hot bar & salad bar. I like being able to make a "girl dinner" lunch with a couple of bites worth of several things. We typically go to the roof to eat and to let the kids run around the playscape. If anyyyyy corporate Whole Foods people are reading this- can we please update the play area? Maybe add to it? Or make it toddler friendly? I know I'm being picky we just come so much and it would be a dream update.

It's pretty well stocked, except once I went in at the start of December, specifically for vegan marshmallows and there were none in the shelves. I was heartbroken, but I'll forgive them. I forgave enough that even though I only stopped in for marshmallows I ended up buying like $40 worth of other stuff. One item being a single can of Spongebob Olipop. I don't really do pineapple, but husband said it was ok. I'm just glad I could get one can for him to try rather than be stuck potentially buying a four pack and having three left over because he'd prefer RC or whatever else. I honestly don't know what else I got there! Lmao. I'll be back soon; I'm sure.

When we moved to Washington state there weren't any for a while but since then... last I heard there are two in the Seattle metro area. We have been to those but we don't live close to them so our visits to those are infrequent. But one evening while on our vacation to Austin we were wanting to go to a brewery but they didn't serve food. So we swung by this Sprouts here and got some of their very fresh and tasty salads and sandwiches to take to the brewery to eat on while we enjoyed our beer. Such a great blast from the past getting sandwiches from the deli section and appreciating the freshness, flavorfulness and crispness these organic oriented sandwiches are. I believe I had a turkey sandwich which was awesome! The small salad I got was great too! It was really great to go back to Sprouts again and enjoy their products once again!

Since there are really two things to talk about here, the grocery store and the cafe. Both deserve a shoutout. Grocery If you're into health food and local Austin brands, this place has you covered. It's not a huge store, but the selection is solid and thoughtfully chosen. Lots of organic options, pantry staples, local brands, and of course, the famous popcorn tofu. It's a great alternative to the big chains, and you can tell they actually care about what they're putting on the shelves. Cafe The cafe is an underrated gem. Great sandwiches, a build-your-own salad bar, and some nice grab-and-go options like sushi. It's perfect for a quick lunch and offers healthier options than fast food. It's worth mentioning this location might be closing in the next year or two because of city mobility projects, which is a real loss for this part of town. Places like this matter, so it's worth showing them a little love while they're still here, and hopefully giving them reason to pop back up somewhere nearby down the line.
