Most of the seating is outdoors and it took a while for a spot to open up. We ordered burgers, fries, chili, and tots. The chili was cold fries were delivered with a ketchup smile that was cute but not enough to go around. We had to keep getting up and fetching things - salt, napkins, ketchup. And unfortunately 3 of the 4 of us got ill that night after eating there. I also felt like the burger was lackluster. Fries were on the cold side, too. Friends liked the oatmilk shakes although they said you could definitely taste the oatmilk.

The restaurant was super clean and they had the door open which provided a nice California breeze. The staff were so nice and welcoming. Service was great!! The food was Amazing!! Will definitely be back!!!

Half of the Spicy Houston Double

While the indoor area was small didn't feel crowded. Was greeted promptly and the waitress was friendly. Ordered a "Spicy Houston" and a side of fries. My fries came out "Perfect" nice and hot and crispy. The portion size was respectable. Some might have an issue with the fries not coming out with the burger, but I'm good with it. I asked the waitress to cut my burger jn half and pack the second half. She didn't even bat an eye. My burger had jalapeños, pepper Jack cheese. Was thinking this isn't spicy, but then my sinuses told me otherwise. I left feeling full, haply, and got my moneys worth.

So a while back we went to Anaheim to go to Disneyland and what not. We stayed at the JW Marriott so we were super close to all the restaurants. First day we just went walking around and came upon Johnny Rockets. Granted I've had it before in San Francisco, but it's been a while. I had a bacon cheeseburger with fries, my wife had a burger with grilled chicken and mushrooms, but I can't recall the name. I believe it was the Route 66...but not entirely sure. My daughter had a chicken club sandwich. First off, the place is small, but feels very 50's diner vibes. The workers were super nice and made the food right in front of us. Food came out quick, not thing is I felt like I could make these meals myself...so only downfall. Food was still good, and great taste, but for paying restaurant prices I would like a little more.

The establishment was clean, upbeat staff & helpful. The food fresh made to order & they have gluten free buns.

First time here and it was a good experience! My order was taken and made in a timely manner. Portion size was good and the staff friendly. I only had the shake but the food I saw being cooked looked good - next time !

From time to time, I'll come here for a burger and a shake after a day at the Disneyland Parks. It's located on the top floor at GardenWalk. Most of the time, I can just go in and grab an empty seat at the counter. The employees here have always been very nice and friendly. For my most recent visit, I ordered a Rocket single and a chocolate shake. It's always a solid classic cheeseburger.

I got chili cheese fries and a BBQ burger but substituted for a chicken breast. Delicious! Friendly, quick service and clean place.

Came to this Johnny's right before a concert at the House of Blues. It's very convenient and I definitely want to praise them at the SPEED in which they got our order ready. We were in, served, ate, and out all within 20 mins which was perfect since we had to catch a concert next door. Staff were very friendly and the food was great!

I was looking for food while waiting in line for a concert at the House of Blues. Johnny Rockets was a reasonably priced option and close). I placed my order online and then walked over to pick up my order, which was not ready by the time confirmed. My Original with a turkey patty ($10.99) looked super sad but was ok. My daughter ordered the kid's chicken tenders which came with three tenders, fries and a drink ($8.99). NGL, I wish I had ordered it, too. If you're stuck waiting in line for a show at the HOB, it's a reasonably priced option for food. Kid's options come with fries and a drink!

My Favorite Hamburger Place. My Favorite Burger. The Original. My only complaint. Not enough Johnny Rockets around. They're definitely better than In N Out

Wow, we came on one of the busiest Fridays, and our server was very kind and patient! It's a self seating, and the server will help you out by providing the menu. It was so busy, we saw servers literally running! We hope they are fairly compensated because they definitely deserve it. I ordered the smokehouse double with half fries/onion rings. Everything came in a timely manner. The onion rings were nice and firm, nothing was falling off and perfect crunch. The burger hit the spot. I enjoyed it, it has definitely been awhile since I had Johnny Rockets. Really appreciate of our server, even though she was so busy she made this simple, yet cute, smiley face of ketchup! It's the little things I tell ya. Can't wait to come back whenever I get a craving!

First time coming to this location and i thought my hamburger was ok but the meat came apart not the bun its usually the other way around. My salad was to small for the price but i had just an ok lunch. Its very noisy inside considering there wasn't very many people inside. They all slam the old dishes down every time so i wish i would of gad my earplugs in. Not a very comfortable place to visit but the food is ok and the service was very nice.

Unfortunately the jukebox thing didn't work :(

We ended up getting the Bulgogi burger, a bacon cheeseburger, some onion rings, and a carne asada fry. Ok. The food doesn't photograph well for your instagram, but it's delicious. Lemme tell ya - after an early morning of flying, we inhaled this food. Would absolutely come back. Was good enough that we're considering skipping dinner at the park The inside of the restaurant is clean and has a good mix of table sizes for everyone. Saw a table near us order the chicken teriyaki plate and it looked delicious as well. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu.

We were lucky and found a parking space on Bush St. We both ordered the Classic Hammer Burger ($10) and a regular order of shoestring fries. I was surprised at how busy they were. The burgers come out fresh and hot. They are smashed thin and have a crispy edge. The slice of cheese is perfectly melted. There are grilled onions at the bottom of the burger and the top is dressed with thick cut pickles and a decorative drizzle of Hammer Sauce. One of the things I like most about this burger is the overall texture and the proportions of beef to the steamed potato bun. It's soft and melty and delicious. The fries are great too (thin and crispy) and they have a nice selection of house sauces. Their signature Hammer Sauce, White BBQ sauce, Garlic Sauce, Chipotle Mayo, Jalapeño Ranch and Ranch. I went around the world and tried every one. Customizing your sauce by mixing a few together is not a bad idea and likely a veteran move. I have had their sweet potato fries before and they are above average. I have also had their chili cheese fries and a cup of chili...not bad. Their Flatty Melt ($11) was the first burger I tried when going the first time. Unique and tasty. I've also had Spicy Smash ($11) that has a pile of grilled jalapeño's on top. It's hot so be prepared. They have a nice selection of beers but I haven't gone down that road yet. Lunch was so good, I bought my son-in-law a $75 gift certificate. The downtown area has really be revitalized and now it's fun to walk around.

The staff were friendly and attentive. We arrived right before the dinner rush. The place had TVs on and music playing. It seemed like a fun place to eat and hang out. One of the staff mentioned how they were packed last weekend with all the FIFA games. We ordered take out - a classic Hammer Burger, a half order of chili cheese fries, and a small order of onion rings. Sauce station was near the soda, you could get whichever ones you liked. Despite our 15 minute drive home, the food was still warm and really delicious. The burger had good flavor with and without their house sauce. The chili cheese fries were skinny fries with a cheese sauce and bean-less chili. The chili was filling and had a little kick to it. The batter-fried onion rings were (still) crispy and yummy with both ranch and the house sauce. We will definitely be back to fill our smashburger and chili cheese fries cravings! PS- The bathrooms were clean.
