Ok, so I eat hear from time to time and I have eaten at other Johnny Rockets in Arizona, California and in Nevada. Food is for the most part consistent from store to store. Sometimes mistakes are made by employees. Johnny Rockets is not fast food and comparing to McDonald's or In and Out isn't a reasonable comparison. Just like the old Wendy's commercials, "wheres the beef", its at Johnny Rockets. I say the burgers are juicy not greasy but the fact is its fried food. I do agree that corporate seems to be getting away from what got them started. I say stay with what got you there and be consistent. Just wanted to add my part, seems to be a lot of unfair reviews. Good food, as you would expect from any Johnny Rockets. Hard to find from the freeway. No signage, but it's actually INSIDE the Cliff Castle Casino. Friendly staff - they let me bring in a beer from the adjacent casino bar! Perfect road stop lunch. read more

This place Sux! Burger & fries were tasteless, there was Lil burnt peices of old fries in the onion rings & fries; which can only mean that they r cooked in the same oil. Lettuce was all center white & no green, waiter was pushy too. So glad I never have to come back. read more

Why the bad reviews? This place was great! Took my grandparents here to eat before he hit the casino and they were in heaven! I've only eaten at Johnny Rockets once before in Vegas. Our waiter was a doll and they LOVED the staff dancing in the aisles. And the burgers were juicy, delicious and affordable? Only 2 complaints (directed at the company management/policy not staff) 1.) Our waiter said the new management wanted to discontinue the staff from dancing in the aisles.....whaaaaaattt??? NO! NO! NO! and 2.) The juke boxes were out of order at all the tables and had been for almost a year. Waiter said they were getting replaced with kiosks like at Applebees/Chili's etc....why??? It's supposed to be a retro place, keep it that way! Anyways, after such a great experience I'd definitely go back for the atmosphere and great food! read more

After being ignored for five minutes. The GM Regina(I think was her name) came over greeted and took our order. She was apologetic and friendly. Wish the same could be said about our server. Maybe she was just having a bad day. On to the food. I don't mind paying 6 bucks for a shake IF it tasted like an angel peering deliciousness into my mouth. This one did not. It was just ok. My burger was ok, the chicken sandwich tasted as though it was cooked once and then cooked again to insure zero juiciness. Sweet potato fries were soggy and wayyy overcooked as well. It even smells like grease in there. It seems overpriced as well. I will start with, love the staff. Very nice and always help us right away. BAD NEWS is, the food is of poor quality. This franchise/brand has lost its way. There's a reason I don't eat fast food at mc Donalds, because the foods is fake. Well same here. Initial server response was good, but the server admitted that he put in my mother's order with the wrong patty type (ie Turkey vs. Beef). Had to send it back. No napkins or silverware brought to table. Had to ask for a knife to cut my burger in half. Cheery come was wasted down with weak carbonation. Not bad it is fast food and we were served in a timely manner. We ate lunch before our trip back to the valley.

Our server, Kimmie, was ABSOLUTELY STELLAR. She was a flawless example of excellent customer service. Very knowledgeable of the menu, friendly, personable, and treated us like people instead of a table number. The food did not disappoint and we were served in less than 15 minutes. We had a bit of a challenging time this weekend from the start, but, as I told Kimmie, it all changed when we met her. We were so impressed that we even called the manager over to brag on her. I never heard of Johnny Rockets before today. What have I been missing! The place was very clean, I loved the decor, and the music was set at a nice volume. I wanted to go home and get my Fonzerelli jacket. I haven't had a burger like that since I fired up the grill at home. There's no sense in grilling anymore! Yeah it was a bit greasy, but I like that. It was juicy and delicious. The bun was baked fresh and it beats the other burger chains hands down. The fries were endless, but we didn't need a second serving. They were tasty and the chocolate malt I had was great! It's hard to find a real chocolate malt these days without paying extra. They add malt for free. The best part though was the service. Our waitress named Fantasia was fantastic!. She was pleasent and her customer service was the best. She was funny, fast, polite, and knowledgable. I can't say enough good things about her. It did get busy and the cook even took an order out to the waiting customers. That crew rocks it. That's why I give Johnny Rockets a five star. read more

Greasy, greasy, GREASY!!!!!!!!! My burger was literally dripping with grease. I understand that a bacon cheeseburger is going to be greasy, but this was disgusting. If I didn't know better I would've thought the cook ladled a big helping of old fryer grease onto my burger. Maybe that's the special sauce... My girlfriend's chili dog was apparently not much better - she took one bite. To be fair the shake was good, and the waitress was friendly. read more

I am a business owner in the Camp Verde Area. I went to this Johnny Rockets in the Cliff Castle Casino for my daughters birthday on 05/19/13. The server, Kayla, did a fantastic job in greeting us and serving us. They danced for my daughter, and gave her a birthday hat, song, and hot fudge sundae. Man, great place to eat. Great server and a wonderful General Manager. I ordered a Houston burger with sweet potato fries and a coke. The fries were definitely good but the burger was the highlight of the meal. It had just the right amount of sauce and lots of jalapenos. I was kindly great and the front door at told to sit where ever I would like and shortly after I sat down I was handed a menu and my drink order was taken. Great service, really fast. She then gave me my drink and continued to take my order and it didn't take very long to receive my food. So glad I went here instead of the buffet. I highly recommend Johnny Rockets. My son and I stopped into the Johnny Rockets inside the Cliff Castle Casino on Tuesday, 06/17/14. We were headed home from Flagstaff and it is right off the freeway, a quick stop. We got to gamble a little and then headed into the restaurant. I have to tell you how friendly everyone was. They had three cute little gals on the floor serving, and mine looked like she was 6 months pregnant. Our Food was fantastic, they did a little dance for us, and just really made us feel like we were part of there little Johnny Rockets family. I will be stopping at this restaurant for our trips to and from Flag more often. The casino staff was friendly as well, and the bathrooms are clean to boot!! read more

My family and I went to Johnny Rockets. When we came in the restaurant was busy. We were greeted as soon as we entered. And as soon as we say Brittany, our server, came and got out drink order. She was very very sweet.She got our drinks and order very quickly. But when we got our order the sandwhichs were made wrong. Brittany had tried and tried to get the two cooks to fix and they were both very rude. I recommended Brittany but not the two cooks. Brittany thank you for trying to help us. read more

Just a note to thank Nikki for a great experience. Location has great food and is usually very busy. Even fully staffed it can take a while to receive service and to get your food. However on the evening of 10/05/2015 there was a cook and one waitress and, as usual, they were very busy. Nikki seated us, took our drink order, returned to take our main order - all this while taking care of everyone else too. After watching her fun around, I jokingly asked her when she was going to sing and dance. The statement earned a laugh. Then to my surprise the music volume went up and she danced to an oldie. Short staffed and busy yet my wife and I received the best service we ever received here. Awesome read more

Just got back from Johnny Rockets!!! Well we use to go there, as of today we will not!!! And we live here. They changed their menu and it is now over priced. We finally got waited on after being there for 15 minutes, The waiter says oh I forgot this was part of my section today, Then the food came missing a hamburger and a shake, it will be right here in a second, okay when people who came in after us gets a shake and their hamburgers and was another 15 minutes we waited we said cancel those two items, Went to pay had a 100 dollar bill the guy takes my money and is waiting on another table guess the cash register wasn't in his section a gal comes up says he is getting change,[ what from customers in his section] finally comes back gives the change. So long Johnny Rockets-- food wasn't that great anyway, service is horrible and the new manager needs management skills along with everyone else. read more
