    Tacos
    Mel J.

We came in for lunch and ordered several tacos (steak, chicken, fish). All were excellent and reasonably priced!! We saw several people order the table side guacamole which looked good too. We also got a Margarita which was good. Although we enjoyed the food and drinks, the service was not great. It took them several minutes to take our order and we never saw our server after our initial order was placed. We also had to track down someone down so we could pay and leave, which was disappointing. Food is 5 Drinks are a 4 Service is a 1 Overall, a 3.5

Our annual pilgrimage to John's Place. A must stop for one of the best margaritas in Cabo San Lucas. Food is great but can't beat their margaritas. Staff is always friendly and curious. Fun atmosphere! Great stop for drink, food, or watch a game. Highly recommend for a stop.

This place is pretty good. The table side guacamole needed more seasoning, but it was tasty. The quesabirria was absolutely delicious. The Al pastor and chicken tacos were okay. The side rice and beans were good. My mom liked her shrimp tacos. This place is much cheaper than other restaurants in Cabo, which was nice.

Friendly staff for sure. The place was clean and lively. The dishes were hit or miss as it related to flavors. Also took a bit of time for the food tile. Come out. Pork tacos were my favorite. The table prepared guacamole was great. It was open air facility so flys were swarming around the food and we were getting bit on our legs under our table by mosquitoes /bugs.

My husband and I were on a cruise that stopped in Cabo and stayed overnight. We've walked past this restaurant many times and even taken pictures with our cousin, John, who cruised with us several months ago. We finally decided to eat dinner here. We ordered guacamole, which was prepared tableside. He ordered a Pastor Taco, and we shared Fish (Veracruz style). The taco and fish were both just okay. However, the guacamole was delicious! We will definitely try another restaurant the next time we are in Cabo.

We stopped by this place looking for some good Mexican food! Plus my guy's name used to be John so we thought it'd be funny to eat here. We got shrimp tacos and flank steak with mushroom sauce! We also got drinks here! I got a Miami Vice, my fave. My guy got margarita. Drinks were great! There was a lot of food - we were able to take some home and eat as breakfast the next day! Service was great. Servers were helpful and fun! Food came out quickly! We had a great time!!

Husband and I both split so we had one chicken and one steak taco each, and you can see the salsa as well.

Best tacos w've had in Mexico hands down! We got the steak and the chicken with flour tortillas- meat was flavorful, cooked well, salsas were delicious (one mild and one spicy), and service was great - we had an excursion in less than 30 minutes, they knew and food came out in time. Ambience was chill. It's an indoor outdoor kind of setting, which is nice cause you get the fresh air from outside. Their sinks were very clean to wash your hands before you ate, which is something I always look for. Great time highly recommend! Would come back to Cabo just for these tacos lol

Absolutely terrible customer service.... The restaurant is basically empty that should be your sign not to go there. It is nearly impossible to place your order. My ribs were terrible and the restaurant refused to give me another meal instead they wanted to argue and question why I didn't like their food. The ribs are terrible and tasted like old meat and the fries are store bought not fresh at all.

If you're in Cabo this place is a must for dinner! The staff are so kind, the drinks and food are delicious. The Mexican Molcajete is literally one of the best Mexican dishes I have ever had. Super fresh guacamole as well. My sister had the chicken quesadilla and it too was so delicious. We came here twice for dinner and once for breakfast while we were here. 10/10!

pastor and carne tacos came in an order of 3 and i personally lov the super thin and soft taco shells.. shrimp was standard and the tequila shots went down super smooth waooo the cocktail drinks were okay too also such cute (and heavy) clay plates! only downside is that service can be a bit slow here and there but it does get packed

    Just fantastic!!!

On the main road so some vendors to deal with, but truly the best freshest shrimp I have EVER had. And this mango sauce was a perfect addition. The key was Sergio who took such good care of us and spoke just about perfect English. We try but he made it easy. Deb loved her enchiladas and overall a great meal! Fun new spot!

I have to honestly say after being here an entire week and eating everywhere from fancy to boat that this was the best food I've had since here. We were actually looking to eat on the water when this place was suggested by someone when we parked. We were all skeptical just because it wasn't the plan and we really wanted to be on the water. I'm so glad I made the group come here. I'd say the staff was attentive and provides great service, but that's been EVERYWHERE I've ever been in Mexico so far (I've been many places to many countries). So, the staff was friendly and great, but the food put them over the top! I honestly could have eaten here daily over and over. I had margaritas, beer and the Baja bacon wrapped Crab stuffed shrimp! It was literally the best stuffed shrimp I've had in my life. I've been MANY places and shrimp is my favorite dish on the planet :) Others in the group got the chicken wings/fries, stuffed burrito, and the chorizo omelette...it was everyone's favorite meal while out here. Everyone agreed this was our best meal while here. I can't say enough about the food here, I wish everywhere had food I could count on and best believe this is a goto for me and anyone I hear coming to Cabo here out. They earned these 5 stars for sure!

The live mariachi band was incredibly talented and created the perfect atmosphere for the evening. The staff was welcoming, fun, and professional, making us feel like valued guests from start to finish. Their recommendation to order the appetizer sampler was spot on--the fundido, quesadilla, empanadas, and sopes were all fantastic and perfect for sharing. The carnitas were unbelievably tender and full of flavor, while the sea bass had everyone at the table raving. And just when we thought it couldn't get any better, dessert stole the show! The flan was silky smooth, the churros were warm and crispy, and the tres leches tequila cake was an absolute must-try. To top it all off, the cocktails were creative, beautifully presented, and just as delicious as the food. Los Tres Gallos delivered an incredible dining experience with amazing food, outstanding service, and an atmosphere that truly captures the spirit of Cabo. We can't wait to come back!

But that was the end of the positive things as a swarm of flies quickly came to eat the food. Trying to swat them away helped a bit but there was way too many of them. I eventually flagged a waiter down, and he shrugged at the flies. A minute later some candle flame thing came out saying that it will help with the flies but already that was too late as flies were all over the food and I lost my appetite at that point. It was disgusting. I just got up and left. Went to cashier to pay my bill. The cashier also shrugged at my fly incident, and I asked how much it was going to be. Full price. No consideration about bad operating environment and since they knew about the fly issue they didnt setup before food was served to control it better. Even after bringing it up again in detail, she shrugged again. No sorry or anything, just a brush off. Then to make it even worse she asked if I wanted to tip the service. I was in there for a few minutes, staff didnt help quickly or even pre-empt the fly issue, and I'm being asked to pay full price. Sorry but no thanks. How did this place get on the Michelin list? Service poor. Environment poor. Zero or negative star rating for me.
