This is a new lounge that opened downtown. My friend hosted her birthday happy hour here. The decor in here is gorgeous, all black and gold marble. I came on a Thursday around 6:30pm and we were the only patrons there so I do not know what their "party" nights look like. More people started trickling in around 8pm but I left shortly after. Happy hour, wasn't "happy hour". I still paid $15 for one drink. 20% gratuity is automatically added. There is no kitchen on site. Beautiful place. Of course there is no parking on site on Main Street. You will have to drive around to find a free street parking or pay $20 to park in the lot. read more

Super cute place, definitely good for a night out. I will try this place again on a weekend but I came in on a Thursday just roming around downtown and stopped in here for the first time. The only thing I was disappointed about was that I got 2 shots of Bailey's for "dessert" and spent $54 dollars for that. My only complaint is that as slow as it was I felt like a nice glass or something to make the price worth while not just a plastic cup that looks like it's used for mouthwash. Maybe it just me but spending that much on 2 double shot of Baileys is kind of kind of crazy. But hey that just might be the new era we live in. read more

Visited with some friends for their Saturday ladies night. While I see the potential, the experience was a bit of a miss. We did not get to experience the other levels due to it being slower (we went before 10). We asked multiple times for coals to be replaced before they eventually were. I passed through for a drink and it is a very plush establishment on the inside. Beautiful interior and color. I sat at the bar, there were no other patrons. This was around 7:00 p.m. on a Saturday night. The bar reeked of fabuloso cleaner. There was a special during that time with $7 martinis. I originally was stopping by for a shot, but the bartender was nice enough to mention the specials, especially on a weekend night. I tried the espresso martini and I did not like it at all lol. Nice try though, the bartender did put effort. I asked for no Bailey's because I prefer no cream. He used it anyway.... And a lot of it. Tasted like chocolate milk with vodka. Used their restroom and my feet stuck to the floor there and back to the bar. Very sticky floor. Nice vibe but would try different drinks and try a later time with more people. Two couples came in while I was leaving and a birthday party was checking in for couch seating. No food is available here, but the bartender said they have a food truck nearby and they hope to have more options soon. Not sure if I'd go back, there are similar options nearby but I won't count them out. read more

This was a very nice spot that me and my girls came across, while in Houston for one of my friends Birthday over the weekend. We were looking for a nice vibe with music and this definitely was the spot, the music was great and so was the atmosphere. We did get seated right away in a nice spot, but not only knowing we had to be moved to another spot right near the front door, folks coming in and out I remind you it was very cold outside. The manager was very nice about getting us seated and making sure we had everything though we just couldn't stay at that door, and it was very very crowded at the time. So after that our stay wasn't to long, found another spot and stayed We had and amazing time there as well. We definitely will be coming back to Houston just when the weather is warmer. read more

Drinks were good, hookah was good too ( but don't try the mint if you're not a minty hookah person). The inside was cute. There's 2 levels to the building and both DJ's were good and playing some good jams. A great spot to come and hang with friends. Service was good. We were looking for a lowkey spot with good music and cheap drinks, and after stumbling upon an IG video we decided to give this spot a try! We arrived around 6:45p on a Saturday (AKA Ladies Night), and had the pleasure of $7 martinis all night! The hookah took abt 20 minutes to come out, but once they were out the coals were changed about twice during our time seated. We didn't notice that the sofa was on lean until our hips and backs started hurting but by then we'd started dancing and eventually moved to the top floor. The lady taking care of us (either Hawaii or Kawaii) was really nice, and made sure we had everything we needed. No food on their menus BUT you can bring in whatever food you want!! Super helpful because there's a guy making tacos right outside the door after abt 8 or 9pm (and we could smell fried fish coming from somewhere nearby too??). The DJ showed up around 10:30, and he was FIRE!! *When I get his name, I'll update this review, he deserves the recognition* He literally had the establishment dancing and singing all night. Before the DJ arrived, the music playing was like a random playlist but full of bops. That being said, it was like a slow burn as far as people coming into the establishment throughout the night with the peak time being around 11p. The crowd was also mixed between people in their 20s to someone's uncle lol regardless, the environment was friendly and felt pretty open, and welcomed fun vibes! Def recommend this spot, and it helps that it's around the corner from Off the Record. There's street parking nearby, and in a great location for hopping around in the area. Not good a place to chill with friends, and if you just sitting with a drink they will kick you out if you don't purchase a bottle or more drinks. Tall blonde waitress was rude to my party and did not have good customer service at all. We wanted to move tables since it was a small and we were told that she had someone else coming who was purchasing a bottle so we couldn't move sections. Do not recommend if you wanna just chill with your friends and drink. Also, don't do a deposit because they will just sit you anywhere even if you reserve a section. read more

Ok Jolie is not what I expected. I hate the idea of partying downtown, but coming here changed my mind. This is why they get a 5 star review. You can choose your vibe. They have the downstairs lounge, a private area for a big group, then the club upstairs. I was blown away by the aesthetics alone. But the service is great, they are very nice and attentive. You get to choose between different DJs which is the coolest thing to me. I have a new fav DJ in HTown(DJ Lowkey) Amazing drinks (ask for Frankie) Best hookah in town! They win I promise. My friends and I came here for New Year's Eve. Before we decided to come, we had to scope out the vibe via Instagram and it looked like a great time; we were not necessarily looking for the "club" scene. There was a promoter having an event there, so the amounts for the sections were very unclear. We purchased on Eventbrite (where the venue told us we could) but through Eventbrite were the promoter's fees. Our table was listed at a specific price and said we would get a bottle with it. Cool. Upon our arrival, it was just not organized. We received our wristbands, but no one escorted us to the section. Considering this was New Year's Eve, there were no party favors, no one passing out champagne for the toast, just very unorganized. After we got seated, a waitress came over and said we needed to purchase another bottle because the minimum for the section was a certain amount, but this was not listed or communicated before. THEN someone else came to our section saying it was their section LOL. The DJ was piss poor, but hell after a few shots, we did not care, my friends and I brought the vibe. We were not going to go to another spot and miss the countdown and waste money we already spent on the section. These lounges and clubs need to do better with customer service. read more
