The cashier was friendly and professional, however our food was made without informing us and it got cold. They immediately threw our cold food away and swapped it out for one that was already made and warm. As my family and I try to enjoy out dinner we noticed our chicken was raw on the inside. I drive past here almost daily. WHen I saw that the KFC was under renovation, I began to wonder who was the new tenant... When I saw the brick facade going up, I thought maybe a coffee shop? When I mentioned it on Facebook, alot of people said how much they liked Jollibee's. I've never been there before and was told the Fried Chicken is what theyre known for. We stopped by on a Saturday, the drive thru line is usually pretty long. We got some chicken and burgers for the kids. I did not see any kids meals being offered. The chicken was okay. I think I like Popeyes better. The burgers were not very interesting. The prices were higher then I expected, $24 for two 3 piece chicken meals and 2 burger meals but not too outrageous. I came here to pick up a bucket of chicken and they did not disappoint. I ordered 6 pieces of fried chicken for $12.99. And it came with a small cup of gravy! Do you get that at Popeye's? No! I believe that their offering costs a little more than Popeye's. Yes, Popeye's has coupons which makes it a better deal when getting the buy-one-three-piece chicken meal and get a two piece meal free (on the understanding that you buy a drink to go with the free meal). And that comes with a drink and side. But the pieces are so small and the chicken is obviously frozen variety. I have included a photo of the chicken and they are decent sized portion. When you go to Popeye's you can end up with huli-huli chicken sized drums. As you can see the pieces of chicken are larger and they are juicier. If you like fried chicken juicy and not dry like Popeye's, this is the place to go. One thing I noticed is that the cashiers seem more friendly than the ones at Popeye's. My mother ordered the chicken and claimed their was a deal for buy one bucket and you get one free on Wednesdays but the cashier at least did not give me the stern look of disdain for even asking that question. The deal was over last month by the way. I give this place 4 stars yet again. You can't seem to go wrong with this fried chicken place. The price is certainly higher than Popeye's but the chicken seems larger. And the chicken is definitely juicy. So if you are looking to get a fried chicken fix, this is the place to go. I finally got the chance to try out this joint after hearing all the hype about their ono chicken. Their third restaurant opened right down the street from my apt at the corner of King St and Dillingham Blvd. I ate the C1 which is two pieces of chicken with one side item, I got the mashed potatoes with gravy (meal also came with extra brown gravy) and a drink. I believe I paid like $6. Unfortunately I was quite disappointed. My meal didn't live up to all the hype. Everything...the chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy were just ok. Personally, I prefer Popeye's. I will go back to try the other items on the menu like their spaghetti and burgers. But I won't be making a mad dash for it. This was my first time at Jollibee and I stopped because of the convenience. The staff was friendly and ready to take your order. The place doesn't have much seating and must be meant to eat and run as fast as you can. I order a cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato. I was totally unimpressed. The burger had an over fabricated feel in my mouth that made me wonder if it was meat or soy products. The fries were nice and crispy, bit some tasted like they'd been fried a second time to be warmed up. I was going to order a drumstick, but at $2.50 each it was a "heck no techno." Love pretty much all fast food fried chicken places in oahu. But here the chicken not only is fried but very moist and juicy in the inside. The gravy for it makes it even better! To be honest, it was really hard for me to get myself to leave this review. It is because I really do love this place, but sometimes I just can't. The thing I absolutely love about this place has got to be the spaghetti, and yes, they are sweet and not like the typical spaghetti's that people might be used to, but to me, it is the perfect combination of sweet tomato sauce, sausages, and fake-ish cheese (lol). This might offend some of my Filipino friends as they have told me that their version of spaghetti is so much better and I do believe them, but their version isn't as readily available as Jollibee's so I am going to have to stick to theirs. Also, lots of people mention chicken, and yes, the fried chicken is good, not as oily as KFC can be sometimes, and they are not too salty or not too bland. The only problem I have with the chicken, and the reason for my 3 star review is because the chicken gives me stomach ache. You may tell me that it's my fault for keep eating them and yes, it sure is, but sometimes you are craving fried chicken and it's the best one in your neighborhood. I don't know if it's because the chicken is not fully cooked, but it always gives me stomach ache. If you want to stay away from that, TRY THE SPAGHETTI! IT IS DELICIOUS! read more

Parking at this location is limited. I recommend the C4 3 piece chicken and 2 sides. They give a lot of rice and the chicken is always crunchy.
