My DS decided we should try Jollibee. It was ok, the fried chicken WAS juicy n crunchy, I enjoyed it. Now, we are a family who Loves pineapple on pizza, that being said, hubby did not like the Aloha burger too much. I thought the concept was interesting and might order it again if I was in the neighborhood. The chicken sandwich leaves much to be desired...bun, chicken, TINY bit of mayo. If you are a child who is an EXTREMELY pick eater? This sandwich is for YOU! As for me? I came home and added more mayo, cheese, pickled jalapeno n onion to mine. read more

This was my very first visit to the store location, and it just happened to be during the COVID-19 virus pandemic. I merely came to pick up food for my family as we were going to be celebrating one of my daughter's successes, and just before I arrived I noticed that the drive-through line was through the entire small parking lot out onto the street, around the corner, and down the block. Yikes! Noticing that there was a vacant parking spot inside the lot, my husband and I parked there and went inside to order instead. The lines inside was short but things looked pretty hectic. We'd called ahead to try and order for pick up but they told us that the wait time would be at least one hour. Wow. It only took us 5 minutes to drive there. So, we took our chances and went in. It was interesting to see how they were tryin to handle take out orders and what not. When you walk inside, first of all, they'll yell at you and shoo you out if you are not wearing a mask or face covering. That seems fair to me! I saw them do this to a few different transients who came stumbling in. There are 2 lines. There is a line to order and then there is a line to stand in if you are waiting to pick up your order. The one thing that I noticed is that there were grub hub and door dash type customers who came in and were getting a bit insistent about picking up their customer's orders. Some of 'em got kind of demanding and would go around to the side entrance that leads to the cashier counter. They'd stick 1/2 their body back there and ask them where is the order that they were supposed to be picking up. I didn't like that. That made me very uncomfortable. I ordered and then moved back into the waiting line. There are some bench seats. Some other people who were waiting seemed to have forgotten about the social distancing idea and would almost sit on your lap. Sheesh. In even "normal" situations, I'd never sit that ON TOP of another customer. Talk about personal space. EEEK! The order took about 20 minutes. We ordered a family pack of spaghetti and a 10 piece of original fried chicken along with a few use pies. We waited a little longer for the use pies though too. I loved the mango peach pies and so did my daughter. Although we ate first and then had our dessert, they were still good after we'd warmed them up in the toaster oven. Even the next morning, they were yummy. The fried chicken was good and was not over oily or anything. I really liked how crispy the skin was, not too salty and not spicy. It had a really good flavor. The spaghetti was tasty too. My little one loves the cut up pieces of hot dog in the sauce. She always goes hunting for them in my food. I think if you can call in an order and pick it up that would be convenient but you also have to figure out how to get into the parking lot to pick it up. I've noticed some people parked across the street or within the residential areas surrounding the restaurant. I look forward to they're not being a terrible line like there was that day but I don't think that is very likely with the pandemic. Nothing about the food was bad. Everything was tasty and was fresh, since we went there to pick it up ourselves. I'd like to go back but I have a feeling that if I did go to another JB's, it would be the one at the Eagle Rock Plaza because somehow that was a lot more convenient for us. read more

First time here and a quick five stars. I've heard good things about this place and thought maybe it's time to try it. I perused the menu online. I admit it interesting to see fried chicken being offered with steamed rice or spaghetti as side dishes. But hey, who knows why not try it. The drive thru was quick and the service friendly. I chose the two piece spicy chicken with the spaghetti side and a Pepsi. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and saw spaghetti covered in sauce and topped with cheese. The chicken looked crispy and two nice size pieces were provided. Now, I bit into the chicken. The coating was spicy, but not too spicy and crunchy. There wasn't too much coating. The meat was tender and not greasy. I was very pleased. YUM And the spaghetti...it was covered with ample sauce and cheese. The sauce was tasty and the spaghetti noodles were made well. To my surprise there were hot dog slices inside...I was like WOW, just like when I was a kid. YUM As I said, that was a quick five stars. I will go back. Sooo delicious! It was my very first time trying Jollibee! I was originally gonna get the 3pc chicken tenders but they said it'd be a 15min wait so i got a sandwich instead. We did drive thru and the service was pretty quick! No more than 10 mins. The sauce was sooo yummy (spicy sriracha mayo) and it had jalapeños! Jollibees chicken and food is great for fast food don't get me wrong. This isn't a food quality complaint. It is more so at the absolute mind blowing laziness and giving zero F's this particular locations staff exhibits. Corporate should come in fire all the leads and start fresh. After sitting in a drive through line of 9 cars for 40 minutes and moving 2 spaces I gave up. Any restaurant with a drive though that would take 20+ minutes to process each car needs a serious reevaluating. Upon walking up and attempting to go in only to be met with a closed dining room, I was greated through the windows of full racks of cooked chicken ready to go and a collection of 4 employees hanging out, our front. 1 was working the drive though and 1 was doing closing details. Clearly staffing isn't a issue with 6 in shift but with only 2 working the problem becomes readily apparent. read more

Go ahead.. Dip that crispy fried chicken in that gravy.. It's not bad. I'd skip the spaghetti if you're not into sweet spaghetti and you think cheese and hot dogs on top are weird. But if you're open to sweet and savory pasta, it's worth trying. My go to here is usually the pancit palabok which isn't the typical pancit that you've had at your friend's house. It's a thin noodle smothered in a shrimp sauce topped with egg, baby shrimp, and green onions. For dessert, go for the peach mango pie. Similar to the McDonald's apple pies but sweet and no tart in the fruit. Get two and you'll be a happy camper. read more

My husband and I always take advantage of eating jollibee whenever we are in LA. So I looked up the nearest one luckily it was less than 10 min away from us. Upon arrival it was tough to get through drive through since there was traffic, so we decided to go inside but the doors were locked looks like they shut down inside services an hour or so ahead before their closing hours and they were allowing customers in who were picking up mobile online orders. But luckily they were nice and allowed us to order so their menus are on their screen but they were turned off so we had to pull up their menu items on our phones. Everything was made less than 15 min. Everything was fresh as well. The cashier who took our order was new she missed a few of our items and the manager was very sweet she apologized for the inconvenience and gave us our missing items. We ordered 10 piece spicy bucket chicken gravy and mashed potatoes with gravy and 2 of their pineapple drinks and 2 cokes and one order of spaghetti which was sweet btw. Employees are so sweet and communicative with one another and with the customers. They doubled checked everything on the receipt before handing off our order to us. Gave us plates and utensils as well with napkins. Definitely will continue to come back when I'm in town again. read more

I had been hearing about Jolibee for some time now and then there came a day it was convenient enough for me to pick it up on the way via drive thru. I couldn't wait to have the peach+mango hand pie, so I opened one while driving. Let me tell you, my sweet tooth don't wait for nothin' or nobody! Anyways, needless to say, I do not recommend anyone to do this. It was piping hot and I very much burnt my tongue. Aside from that, I actually enjoyed it. Good news is, you know they just prepared it and you got a fresh batch. Even with my burnt tongue, I was very much grateful. The fried chicken itself was very juicy, yet oily. That's to be expected, after all, it is fried. Still, unnecessary oil is rarely welcomed. I chose half-half regular and spicy fried chicken. You can definitely taste the spice in the spicy. It has a distinct different flavor from other fried chicken joints, which I appreciated. Jolibee is an affordable option for family dinner or just cravings for fried chicken. Looks like everyone is in love with fried chicken now more than ever. If you haven't tried it already, try it out. It probably won't be the best fried chicken you've had, but it's totally worth the cost. The staff that assisted at the drive-thru was so sweet and she even recommended me to get the family meal. Ugh. I really thought that this was going to be a 5 star review. I had had it bookmarked for several months and could not wait to try it! High hopes. 3 stars here is pushing it. Our time came to come here after a Rams game and we made the busy drive to Beverly. It was a smaller place than what I had thought in my mind. Language barrier and noise (crazy, tight spot) made it harder to order than it needed to be. Restroom occupied by someone the entire time I was there. 1 small cubicle for this place! Grrr. Impossible to use a washroom in LA anywhere. Even as a customer. Now, the food came hot and fresh which was a plus. We got take-out but pulled the fries out almost right away to try. They were pale and mushy. Needed seasoning which was not in the bag. We realized our full order was not given to us. Drink was missing in the combo :( Our fault too but geez. We paid for it... too late to go back. Chicken Joy, spicy. Amazing. Would order that again. Spicy here really means it. Palabok was terrible and hit the garbage. Saddens me as we never, ever throw out food and I am a noodle addict. This was just inedible and a $6 small box lessen. Egg slices are a no for me. Shrimp on top was teeny tiny and I still do not know what the brown meat bits were. Just, no. Smelled so bad too. Sauce, a mystery. Chicken sandwich, good. Not great but good. Firstly, the location is on a weird corner but it works. The drive through is tricky when the line is long but it doesn't take too long to move. I like the spaghetti and the chicken with the gravy is delicious. I did try the spicy chicken sandwich but was not my favorite, I think the sweet bun throws it off, but just my opinion. Love me some Jollibee! I'll take chicken joy and some Filipino spaghetti please :-) I know what you're thinking... I'm such a typical Filipino... but seriously, try it first then let me know if it's typical. I've been to several Jollibee locations, but this one is located in a nicer area versus some of the other Jollibee's I have come across. I'm not sure if this is a newer facility, but it looks new inside and it's clean and the workers look happy. On the outside of the building, they have their signature bee statue posing and ready to greet you as you come in. I recommend the chicken joy and they'll give you some brown gravy on the side for your chicken to dip into. I've never really had their breakfast and I should probably try it one day, but so far everything I've tried on their menu has been a hit. I also recommend that you try their peach mango pie... it's delicious. If you're not big on the spaghetti, then try the pancit palabok instead. I always order both because I have one kid that likes one and the other kid that likes the other. Place stays quite busy, but service is always a pleasure because the staff is always hard working and ready to help and if you're in a rush they have drive-thru. I stopped by here today around 4:40 to 4:50 pm . I had a great experience at the drive thru . There were no line it's just me and another car in the front which is a good luck for me , The order taker did great me with a jolly voice , ordered a yum burger meal with a side of French fries and an pineapple drink , The yum burger was delicious , I would say better that cheeseburger from McDonald probably cause I'm tired of mickey d's. Palabok Fiesta nope not a fan, looks nothing like the picture the shrimp are 4 little cocktail shrimp. So yummy. I came here the day after my second vaccine shot and was delirious from not eating a full meal. I immediately ordered a Yum Burger and a 2 count hamburger meal with fries and mashed potatoes. After eating it, I felt more rejuvenated and healthy. Jollibee is a beloved Filipino fast food giant that has captured every Americans. This store is small but has a drive thru and it's located on busy intersection of Beverly Blvd and Vermont ave on East Hollywood section of LA. I was craving for a Filipino fast food (only my third time in 6 yrs) and went to their drive thru on a late afternoon and there were three cars ahead of me. I ordered the 3pc Chicken joy combo (two sides and a drink) and Halo-Halo, dessert. Their fried Chicken were crispy, tasty, warm and juicy. Similarly, their white rice is pretty basic. Halo-Halo was really good and perfect for a hot weather. Prices were fair. Service was mildly fast. Staff have excellent customer service and very professional.
