I visited the new Jollibee location and had a very disappointing experience. I placed my order through the kiosk and waited for my food, but when my order was brought out, I was informed that one of the menu items I ordered was actually out of stock. What made the situation worse was the employee's attitude. From the moment she approached me, her facial expression and tone seemed irritated and unfriendly, even though the mistake was clearly on the restaurant's side. Since the item I ordered was unavailable and there was about a $3 price difference, I politely asked if they could replace it with two additional pieces of the 12-piece chicken instead. I had already received the side items and did not want any other substitutions. However, I was told that because they were busy, adding two more pieces would require creating a completely new order and I would have to go back and wait in the long line again. That response felt unreasonable since the unavailable item should not have been selectable on the kiosk in the first place. There were also several small details that showed a lack of care in customer service. My order was supposed to be to-go, but it was brought out on a tray instead of properly packed. When I asked them to pack it, the bag was handed to me without basic items like napkins or utensils. Overall, the issue was not just the missing menu item -- it was the poor attitude, lack of professionalism, and careless handling of the situation that made the experience frustrating and unpleasant. read more

It was garlicky, crabby, and loaded with decent sized shrimp. All my favorite flavors in one dish was explosive. I thoroughly appreciated the real crab meat that was used. I drove to a nearby coffee spot and saw Mr. Fries next door. A name like that deserves a visit. With the look inside and outside of a fast food place, I expected fries, cheesefries, and similar items. I was not prepared for Lemon Garlic Crab and Shrimp Fries. Super friendly worker greeted me and introduced me to Mr. Fries with his suggestions, but I was set on the crab and shrimp. He told me they use real crab. Awesome flavor, lotts of crab and shrimp, cheesy and well-prepared fries. I think I even taste some Old Bay Seasoning...just like my East Coast blue crab meals. The downside: was quite greasy, didn't have veggies/greens, and was about $30 with tax (for the reg size). Did I mention that the dude at the counter was awesome? Great service!
