Since I didn't stay to eat and see how service is. Here's my review on the food. Chicken is juicy and perfectly crunchy. Cooked good. It comes with a gravy like dipping sauce. It's not gravy. It's a little sweeter than the typical gravy. Tastes good with the chicken. Mash potato is good. My boys said it's better than other fast food restaurants. Spaghetti is sweeter than normal spaghetti. Love me some Jollibee! We always get chicken bucket, Palabok or spaghetti, and mango pie. If you're not familiar with Filipino food, Palabok is a rice noodle dish with shrimp and pork ragu style sauce. The spaghetti is Filipino style, so much sweeter and has hot dogs. Both are delicious but definitely not your standard chicken joint dishes. The chicken is crunchy and moist. The gravy taste like kfc gravy. We love how the gravy pairs with chicken and rice. I always been avid fun of Jollibee even when I was younger in the Philippines. But the customer service at Mack Road Jollibee needs to have some improvement. Food is not a problem always been the same chicken is always been good. However store manager please train all your employees how to get order and how to talk to customer. It's really important sometimes they are rushing you or sometimes they are sarcastic . Let's have some training and always have a pleasant personalities. The quintessential Filipino fast food. There isn't many places like Jollibee, especially in Sac but this does a decent job when you want some fried chicken. The food has always been pretty good and no issues with the quality. The biggest issue with this place is the pace of service. You can find yourself stuck in line or waiting for food for a surprising amount of time for a fast food place. Don't get me wrong, I love this place but that wait can be excessive and make me yearn for the non fast food Filipino options. My first review of Jollibee was 3yrs. ago. I didn't like the service because it was too slow. I recently gave them another chance and although it's always crowded they fixed the issue and now provide faster service and food was always good now just more popular. Hey Jollibee Sacramento, please have one of your workers fix their attitude especially the one that was working today 9/17 at noon in the order pick up line wearing a blue mask. My son had to order just an extra gravy, he patiently waited in line for 10 mins to place the order and then had to wait another 10 mins but his buzzer never went off so he walked up to the pick up area to politely ask for his cup of gravy. The worker walked away, madly poured the gravy in the cup and threw it on the counter. How hard is it to serve the gravy as soon as you order it instead of putting it in the queue for pickup? They had a counter full of orders stacked up and no food being given out. They need better training and management. They try to do to many orders at once and then spend A LOT of time figuring out which orders are complete slowing down the whole process. We wanted to get the chicken and try the spaghetti to . The girl tried to help us but between us was a plexi glass partition for COVID I guess and it had a speaker in the middle of it. Kind of sucked. She said there was a meal with the stuff we wanted. So we ordered ten piece. I asked her if the chicken was good. She said it was so got the bigger meal. The place had a lot of tables but we ordered it to go and took it home. There were a lot of people inside. Are food took a little while but it was cooked right as we ordered. I've tried Jollibee years ago. I remember it was ok back then and it's still ok now. We ordered a bucket that came with mango peach pies and a tray of spaghetti. I also order a side of mash and gravy to try. The order comes with a brown gray for dipping. We took our order for to go. The chicken comes only in drumsticks and thighs, which I like. The breast, I think gets dry and it's a too big of a piece of chicken to eat. The chicken was crispy and moist. The flavor was ok. The chicken wasn't too oily either. The spaghetti wasn't bad either, it had some pieces of hot dog slices in it. The sauce had some sweetness to it. I can see kids liking the flavor of the spaghetti. The gravy for the chicken was ok. It was just a brown gravy. I thought there was a taste that was a little chemically. I'm not sure, it could just be me. I'm not a fan of brown gravy. I like the turkey gravy that is made from the stock, fresh with turkey bits in it. The mashed potatoes was ok. The mash had little chunks of potatoes in it and the brown gravy was poured over the top. The mango peach pie wasn't bad either. I'm just not a fan of mango peach. Apple pie is more my speed. I ordered the spicy chicken as usual, I saw they had a bunch waiting under the heat lamp so I'm thinking "oh this won't take too long".. we waited 40 minutes AND they said it would take more time to make more spicy chicken so I just got regular, no biggie. I'm not gonna lie, I was very happy after I ate the food, it's consistently delicious. However, the wait time is ridiculous and their service is aggressive. I asked an employee for an update at the 20 minute mark and she was incredibly rude. I also heard one of the other employees talking about how miserable she is and how she didn't want to do her job because she hated working there. This is the only jollibees in the area so there is usually a line of costumers waiting. It can and will get pretty crowded. The chicken here is good. Costumer service was friendly as well. The peach mango pie is great. When I went on a Wednesday evening, there was no long wait thankfully. I took away one star because this place is pricy. My order of a 2 piece chicken combo with side of fries and drink, a yumburger with cheese and peach mango pie was $18. It is more than what I remember.
