My dual pane picture window had moisture between the panels, and I had someone from Jon's Windows come to make an estimate for replacing it. We bought our house last year, and knew right away that we'd have to replace about 10 windows that had not been updated in many years. We put the project off for almost a year while we settled in, and finally decided to contact Jon's Window & Awning--they happened to be around the corner from us, and we always try and support local businesses. Milguard highly recommended Jon's windows - and since day 1, they are punctual, reliable, responsive, honest, and well priced. They have done more than I could do to keep up with the delivery, and have gone above and beyond to make sure the process is smooth and easy for us. The installers day of were amazing. Careful around our things, fast, and professional. And of course, the windows are amazing and perfect. They were the only company that gave detailed honest review of the job, and I am beyond relieved to have worked with Jon's windows. Honestly I wouldn't trust any other company after our other experiences, and they have been 110% on every aspect of the process. I cannot express how grateful I am that I finally found Jon's windows. We have been trying to replace our windows for 15 months. This is the third company we have hired and the only one i recommend. Here is our experiences before Jon's windows so you get an idea: We used Window Design group first, and they said 2-3 month installation, 3 months into it (after calling once a month to check on the status for install date), they said it would be double the price. An additional 10,000$ to do the job. So we got out of the contract and went to American Reliable windows, who rescheduled us 10 times, and after calling Milguard directly found that they had never started the order and each excuse was untrue they had told us for reason of rescheduling. 10 months after ordering with American Reliable (6-8 week promised installation time), after finding out they were dishonest and hadn't started the process, we requested a refund which they said they would process. 6 week later they hadn't and wouldn't return our call, so we had AmEx refund and take over from there. When talking to Milguard they recommended to use Jon's windows - which we did, and they had an installation date and were on time and ready to go in 6 weeks! Amazing really. I wish we found them sooner. It's so difficult to find an honest hard working company in Los Angeles - we are SO beyond happy with Jon's windows. read more

WATCH OUT ! GO SEE JON AT JON'S WINDOWS IN BURBANK BEFORE BUYING AT THE FANCY DOOR AND WINDOW STORE !!! I don't do reviews on Yelp - -except for this one about Jon's Windows in Burbank. I have lived in Burbank since the 50s and have been in the same house since 1965. Needless to say, I needed some remodeling and, of course, new windows. One large window and door company gave me a quote that was , in my opinion, way out of line, although they had done some work at my home in the past. I was forced to look elsewhere for my new windows - -I contacted a company in Glendale for some Milgard windows. OMG their price was way high AND they wanted full price for the job UP FRONT !! No thanks, bad business and risk for me. I put them on the "do not call - ever" list! Ii contacted the Milgard company and asked who was a large supplier of Milgard products in my general area. Jon's was said to be one of their biggest customers ! I had never heard about Jon's. So, one phone call and Jon came and measured. He gave me a quote that was a huge percentage less than the bigger place. The Milgard product quoted was identical to the prior quote, and the labor competitive. I proceeded to order with a very small deposit. My windows came in the time frame promised, although a small mistake caused one window to be wrong size-wise. Jon realized the situation and without any fanfare whatsoever, the correct window was ordered and delivered. The installation went perfectly (new construction, stucco removed, etc.). So, here is the best part: Jon's crew (Antonio, Marcello,Julio) came on time. They covered all workspace to catch debris and covered what would be the window openings while work in progress to keep dust out.. They worked through lunchtime and in two days (the estimated time) my windows were in and stucco repaired. My carpets were covered with drop cloths to insure no dirt was tracked thru the house and my new windows washed. Antonio did a craftsman's job of framing out the inside of the windows with new trim and sill. Perfect and ready for me to paint. The existing wallpaper was not damaged (one of my worries).. Then the whole crew cleaned up their tools, vacuumed any remaining small debris, hauled away the old material. No hassles, no mess, no re-negotiation - -just a fantastic job. I'm a very light sleeper and the very first thing I needed to do when I moved into my new house was replace the bedroom windows - they were the old flimsy single sheet of glas kind. I contacted a few places through yelp and Jon's Windows was the first to respond with a quote and with knowledgeable advice on what I needed. I waited a bit just to get more quotes, but one place told me my order was too small for them to care (2k may be nothing in the world of windows, but I feel it's a good chunck for a regular household). Another called back a week later, and many other places didn't even know what I was talking about when I requested soundproof windows with Stc of 45 or above. Jon's Windows was not only awesome in knowing what I wanted and giving me realistic advice (I was debating a few different options for windows), but they were also very friendly and fast in responding to all my questions. They have been in the business for a while and it shows. The guys did a bang-up job installing the new windows, and the walls were unscathed (I was afraid originally that I'd have to repaint around the windows, but I actually don't - there's not a scratch.)
