    Random salmon rolls

I liked this place bc my kids liked the appetizers. Its kind of pricey here but it ayce. I didn't liked the pizza bites but I liked all the other appetizers. Its weird they have mini corn dogs at a sushi place. Lol. I liked the chicken teriyaki and the rolls were decent enough. My kids usually get rolls with shrimp and I always get salmon rolls. Its very small inside but the service is good. Its a nice little place with decent sushi and appetizers for my boys!

First time trying this restaurant for family/date night. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by who seemed to be one of the owners. My wife and i always enjoy family owned restaurants. We didnt have to wait for a table, the server explained to us the menu, and the all you can eat option. We opted for a la carté menu. The server suggested the garlic edamame appetizer which was a great choice. Our kids ordered miso soup which according to them it was soooo good! We were suggested the exgirlfriend roll... BEST ROLL we have had in a while. We also order joons sushi, or joons choice, cant remember the name but it was also really tasty. Drinks: i had a sapporo and we shared a hotsake bottle and a cold one too. Price is pretty reasonable. Our server was very attentive, they sent a few balloons so that our kids would be entertained while we had our last drinks, i thought it was a pretty good gesture from them Overall: price, food and service was excellent. The 20 minute drive is worth it

This is coming from someone that has 6years of experience as a waitress, part of that working in a sushi restaurant. The staff was very unkind to my mother for having a gluten allergy. They stated that she cannot have the rice because of having gluten in it?? My mom react to the soy sauce, we have not had a problem with the sushi rice from this location. The tone that the first male server gave was giving "this is an inconvenience" so by stating the rice claim, almost to get us to leave all together. Then he says he will have all the rolls not have any sauce on top which was nice of him to offer. Then we had female waitress, Kelly, who we tried to ask a a question as she was passing. I watched her sit a table, clean a table, place a check before coming back to answer our question. (All I understand) until she walks by our table and pretends not to look at us. So I have to stop her again because one of the roles had a sauce on top. So I asked her if the sauce had gluten in it. Again. (2nd time I asked this question from her passing by twice) she acted as if this was a new question, and was trying to walk away. She assured the sauce does have gluten. So I told her that we already explained to the male sever that we cannot have gluten in the sauces. We kept that roll for the gluten people and order another roll for my mom to eat. She then asks us for another round of tea and brings us a teapot of just hot water.... Overall, I cannot stand when servers make you feel like an inconvenience. The Hana sushi staff by chaparral on Winchester is MUCH FRIENDLIER we are regulars to both locations. After this encounter, we all agreed we will make it a point to only go to the Winchester location as they are very kind and attentive to my mother's allergies.

We've been coming here since they first opened years ago, and it's still our go-to sushi spot. Jenny is an absolute treasure. She somehow remembers details about our family and friends that even we occasionally have to stop and think about. She knows our usual order, remembers which sauces we love, and greets us like we've just returned from a long voyage instead of missing sushi night. At this point, we're fairly certain she has either a photographic memory... or an FBI-level file on us. Either way, we adore her. As for the food? Dangerous. The sushi is phenomenal, the miso soup is pure comfort in a bowl, the tempura is perfectly crisp, and the ramen and noodle dishes are outrageously delicious. Every visit begins with, "We'll keep it light today," and ends with us wondering if there's enough room for "just one more roll." The restaurant is always spotless, the décor is beautiful, and the entire atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing. Ryu has spoiled us to the point that eating mediocre sushi elsewhere now feels like a personal betrayal. We'll see you all again very soon... probably sooner than our waistlines would recommend!

I ordered the Triple Combo featuring New York Steak, Chicken & Shrimp, which came with miso soup and a salad. The food was good overall--not necessarily the most memorable hibachi I've had, but definitely satisfying and hit the spot when I was craving that teppan-style meal. The service was great! The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. Since I visited on a Sunday and it wasn't overly crowded, the atmosphere was pretty relaxed. The ambiance definitely gives Benihana vibes, with the Japanese-inspired décor and hibachi-style setup. It creates that fun, traditional teppan dining experience without feeling overly crowded. Overall, I'd give Arashi 4 stars. It's a solid option when you're craving hibachi, especially if you're looking for something similar to the Benihana experience. I'd definitely be open to coming back and trying some of their other menu options!

When I asked him why he didn't use the whole pre-portioned amount, he made up multiple excuses such as: he couldn't put the raw chicken into the dish with the cooked chicken (then why didn't you use the whole thing when you started cooking?); another excuse was that he would get in trouble if he used all the pre-portioned chicken; and another one was we would have to pay extra if we wanted him to use all the pre-portioned chicken. Well, that didn't sit well with me since my chicken fried rice was all vegetables and hardly any chicken. When I brought this up to our server, she apologized and took the rice off the bill. Too late! Damage done. My hubby and I spend at least $100+ at every visit, and guess what? We're never going back to this place again. We can spend our money elsewhere.

Perfect for anniversary dinner:…read more Omakase sushi is one of the most refined and memorable dining experiences you can have, especially if you appreciate attention to detail, freshness, and craftsmanship. From the moment you sit down, there's a clear sense that this is not just a meal--it's a curated journey guided entirely by the chef's expertise and intuition. What makes omakase stand out is the trust you place in the chef. Instead of choosing dishes yourself, you allow the chef to present a sequence of sushi that highlights the best ingredients available that day. This often results in a progression that feels intentional and balanced, starting with lighter, more delicate flavors and gradually moving toward richer, more complex pieces. Each bite is thoughtfully designed to showcase the natural qualities of the fish, the texture of the rice, and the subtle interplay of seasoning. The freshness of the ingredients is immediately noticeable. High-quality omakase typically features fish flown in from top markets, and you can taste the difference. The fish is clean, tender, and often melts in your mouth. The rice, which is just as important as the fish, is seasoned perfectly--slightly warm, lightly vinegared, and shaped with precision so it holds together without being dense. Another standout aspect is the craftsmanship. Watching the chef prepare each piece right in front of you adds a level of appreciation you don't get with standard dining. Every movement is deliberate, from slicing the fish to forming the rice to brushing on just the right amount of soy or adding a touch of wasabi. It becomes clear that years of training and discipline go into even the simplest-looking piece of sushi. Omakase also introduces you to varieties of fish and preparations you might never order on your own. This expands your palate and helps you discover new favorites. Seasonal ingredients often play a role, which keeps the experience dynamic and unique each time you go. Service is typically intimate and attentive, especially if you're seated at the counter. The chef may explain each piece, offer guidance on how to eat it, or adjust the pacing based on your preferences. This interaction adds a personal element that enhances the overall experience. While omakase can be more expensive than regular sushi, the value lies in the quality, skill, and overall experience. It's not just about eating--it's about enjoying a carefully orchestrated meal that reflects both tradition and creativity. Overall, omakase sushi delivers a level of quality and thoughtfulness that's hard to match. If you're looking for a dining experience that combines artistry, flavor, and a sense of occasion, omakase is absolutely worth it.

All of the servers were friendly, attentive, and quick to check in on us. We never had to flag anyone down or wait long for assistance. The menu offers a great variety of options, making it easy to find something for everyone. We ordered the Black Garlic Ramen, Shrimp Tempura Udon, Garlic Edamame, and a variety of rolls. Everything came out quickly, was fresh, and tasted great. The ramen and rolls were especially enjoyable, and there wasn't much left behind except for the broth. The only item that missed the mark for me was the Garlic Edamame. It was coated in quite a bit of sauce, which ended up overpowering the flavor of the edamame itself. I'd recommend ordering it with less sauce or asking for it on the lighter side if possible. Overall, the prices were reasonable, the food was good, and the service was attentive. If I'm back in the area, I'd definitely stop by again.
