A decent selection of taps and wines with a friendly staff. Prices seem reasonable with a happy hour from 3-6:00. The ambiance sucks however due in part to the exposed ceiling and lack of decor. Pretty nice new brew pub. The soup and sandwich lunch special was excellent. The have a wide selection of pubs. This is my closest brew pub and may end up my neighborhood pub! We went back for dinner so my wife could check it out. Had the steak chili; wow! It is one big bowl of meat! Both of us loved it. Now THAT'S chili! Only complaint is the noise level. The floor is concrete, with few large barriers. And nothing to absorb the sound energy. So it can get very noisy. read more

The tap room was cute, I liked how the bar is set up with high tables. We didn't have very good service, our waitress rarely came over to check on us, we got one drink and a shot of liquor but aside from that she didn't ask if we wanted more. We had to call her over when we needed anything. I had the crab tower salad, the flavor was really good. I liked the citrus dressing but the salad is way over priced for how much you get. The food was fairly bland. The French fries looked were basically like Ore Ida's frozen fries. The fish was fine, but again, had that distinctly "from the freezer" taste. As far as the beer, the Blood Orange Wit was quite tasty and the selection was good. Most distressing, perhaps, was the service. Our waitress was pretty nice, but also fairly inattentive. Went with the family. Waited to be seated as expected. Once seated, our server came over asked what we would like to drink. With no time to look over the menu, we answered water. Waited 10 minutes... still no water and no sign of our waitress. The table next to us (who was seated after us) got drinks, ordered and started to eat before I got up to talk to someone. Our "waitress" was at the front laughing and giggling with the hostess. She proceeded to act stupid on not knowing that was her "section". We went there for a happy hour on Friday, not even 4:0pm yet, but the entire place is packed. Service is good, food is amazing, especially their happy hour bar food, everything is so delicious! I saw someone ordered the whole rack of ribs, looked way to good, I cannot wait to go back already. We had been meaning to go try this place for awhile and glad we finally did. The reviews I read on Yelp were mostly about lack of service. We doing the service to be great, very attentive. The food was awesome! I had a hankering for a Reuben and this place did not disappoint. It was house roasted corned beef, not deli meat that they bought. It was so good ( could have used a little more sauerkraut) but still awesome. My wife had the ribs and they to were cooked to perfection. Very meaty, not fatty or too saucy. The ambience is a little Stark and cold feeling, but it is a tap room after all. Great beer selection as well with all the pertinent information on their beers clearly listed. My chicken burger wasn't anything to write home about, but they managed to get my order right. They completely messed up my sisters chicken ranch burger. Went to JP's tonight for dinner. It was awesome! We ordered the fried pickles and mozzarella sticks. Holy wow the fried pickles are so good! And a large portion. For dinner I ordered the sausage and pepper pizza. It was great! Not too greasy, the thin crust was delicious. My boyfriend ordered the BBQ burger. It was stacked! And cooked just as he had ordered. (He's really picky about burgers!). It wasn't very expensive, and didn't take too long to get out to us either. The best part though...was the service. We had four different people check up on us. But not in the annoying way. Our main server was Phil, who is honestly the best server I have had in such a long time. He gave wonderful drink recommendations, got us everything we needed/asked for, and was overall really friendly and helpful. I'm so sad. I was so excited to have another restaurant near by (I really miss The Keg!) Anyway, have been there 3 times and have to say that the 2 stars are for the friendly staff and bartender and for the happy hour wine and beer selections...very good deal. However, the food and the timeliness of receiving the food, not so good. French fries: cold and bland Chicken strips: tasteless and warmish Rib steak: pretty good taste, but the broccoli and mashed potatoes were cold and had no flavor or seasoning. Spicy wings: good, but my friends ate the blue cheese while I did not and mysteriously both ended up sick overnight and I did not. Nachos: fair, but beware the many jalapenos layers! I could see myself being here for happy hour with friends, but will probably opt for another food place unless I start seeing less cold and bland reviews. read more

We noticed people that where works here drinking and all that doing there hints was kinda weird to notice so many people at the bar that where works . My score was based of the works drinking at the bar and getting that glare when you walk into the restaurant not so welcoming , other than that our server was GREAT !!!!!!!! If I could pick one word to describe this place, my word would be LOUD. I'm not sure if it had to do with the way the acoustics are in there, but it was very hard to hear and talk at our table. That would be my main complaint. Otherwise the restaurant was aesthetically nice and served good food. I had a burger and fries and it was very filling and delicious. I don't think we had any food complaints from the rest of the table. And we had a nice, attentive waitress as well. I was surprised and disappointed when my beer came in (what I presume to be) a 12oz glass, because it definitely wasn't 16 as someone else's at my table came in a full 16oz pint glass. Not sure why that was, but overall if you are looking for a place to eat this would be worth a shot. Pretty wide range menu and suitable for everyone. read more

I'm giving them three stars because the waiter we had was very sweet. I ordered a pizza, and I picked up a slice and it totally fell apart. They hadn't cooked it all the way so the entire center was pure dough and grease, I ended up cutting all the crust off and eating that. Once we told the waiter he took if off our bill and offered something else. I declined but still appreciate the offer. The food is standard pub food, nothing special. Definitely hits the spot if you're feeling like some fried apps or a simple sandwich. The service can be hit or miss. There are TVs everywhere, but they don't have the NFL package, so you have to watch whatever few games are on. Kind of a bummer. read more

What an absolutely disappointing experience. Came by this weekend with my husband and daughter with high hopes. Most of this complex has really spruced up over the last few months. The decor is drab and lacking. It looks like Bed Bath and Beyond artwork threw up on the walls. I ordered a cranberry margarita that tasted like...watered down tequila with cranberry juice waved over the top of it. It had no flavor except for the pound of salt around the rim. It was so awful I asked the server to take it back. Even the server agreed the drink didn't look very appetizing. We ordered the pickle chips since they seemed to be highly recommended on the reviews. The pickles themselves were so salty they were almost inedible. I ordered a cheeseburger with a side salad. There was so much salty dressing on the salad it was also inedible. The burger was the only redeeming part of the meal. It seemed to be made from real beef and was a real hand formed patty (unlike the frozen beef pucks you find at some restaurants). But it was hardly good enough to warrant a return visit. My husband got a sandwich which he claimed was fine but unremarkable. My daughter had chicken tenders which had a funny aftertaste. My husband said his beer was decent, but I guess its kind of hard to screw up beer. Our server was kind, attentive and promptly took my returned margarita off of the bill, but even a nice server can not redeem garbage food. I know its a sports pub/grill but the television was so blaringly loud that we had to request it be turned down. I can't imagine this place will be around very long. If you want a good burger, try Habit at the opposite side of the parking lot. Much cheaper and better quality food. read more
