I was going through some old paperwork and found a receipt. I realized that I hadn't left the review on the work that was done. I had my chevy SSR rear bumper fixed and repainted along with the hydraulics for the bed cover. The truck looks fantastic and there were no issues with the insurance. I really appreciate the experience being quick. The added touches and dent removal were appreciated. Thank you!

My experience at JRF Collision Center has been nothing but extraordinary. I appreciate the entire staff and all the work that went into my vehicle. Communication was a key factor in the process. Here are some of my personal pictures.   It all started with a phone call to the office and my first bit of communication was with Jake. After shopping around for other quotes, Jake instilled a sense of trust and reassurance that no job was too big or small for them. He provided an email address where I sent over pictures of my damages and later on replied with a quote after the damages were evaluated by the Estimator. Thank you, Jake.   No matter how many times I called or emailed, the answer was never "No" but more along the lines of "we are here for you." Bianca is such a patient person and I knew my thousands of questions annoyed her but she never made me feel terrible about it. She is a woman of her words; every time she said she will call me back, she always did. Thank you, Bianca.   The morning I dropped of my vehicle, I met an enthusiastic young man named Angel who made me comfortable leaving my vehicle with complete strangers for a few days. He was helping out while his other coworkers arrived. He showed me his vehicle and the projects he had done. We also walked around my vehicle and I told him what I had planned. We chatted a bit more until it was time for me to leave for work. Thank you, Angel.   While at work, Bianca called and asked a few clarifying questions before they touched anything on the car. When my bumper was removed, additional damage was found and they called me right away and sent pictures to show me. The communication was evidence of superior customer service. When I picked up my vehicle, I was in complete shock at how gorgeous the car looked. Clean lines, flush fitment, and quality painting is the type of work you will get at JRF. I will be taking my car back to JRF for future projects, depending on the price. Lol. Thank you guys!

I totally recommend this place, I took my Wife Subaru earlier this morning for an estimate and Brandon took care of it, this is an honest place, I would definitely recommend this shop to all my family and friends.

Fixed in a quick 10 mins if not less!

I am completely blown away by JRF Collision Center's customer service! In efforts to spend locally due to COVID, I went on a drive around my neighborhood for a quote to replace a bracket that broke on the front right side of my 2011 Toyota Corolla. I mentioned to Brandon I've gotten a wide range of quotes via Yelp's Project message blast between $40 - $270 (the later from business owner of Japanese Auto Repair Center in Torrance), and he said if he didn't need to take the bumper off it would cost ~$25 and ~$100 something if the bumper did need to be taken off. In any case, he had his guy replace it in less than 10 mins, and when I was getting ready to pay, he wouldn't take a payment! Thank you soo much, Brandon! I'm more appreciative of your kindness than even saving! There is definitely hope for humanity after COVID! Thank you again Brandon and your team for showing me such kindness. You have my business and any referrals I can give your way moving forward!!

Replacement door moldings on all four doors, repainted driver's door mirror. Yay, JRF Collision Center in Bellflower, California!

My vehicle had a deep, denting scratch on the passenger door and chips in both front door moldings. The paint was peeling from the driver's side mirror. I live almost 400 miles away but would be on vacation in this area and out of state, and not needing my car for several days. I contacted JRF Collision Center in Bellflower because they have a FIVE STAR RATING on Yelp. They are the only ones I called, and their rating was the entire reason I selected them. Six weeks ago, BRANDON wrote me an estimate for the work at a very fair price. I dropped off my car a week ago, and DANNY, the owner, revised the estimate, but included more work for less than $100 more. They managed to find new, replacement moldings that were discontinued and seemingly no one could get. The parts were in the shop, based upon our agreement when I got the estimate weeks before. I picked up my vehicle today, and even more work was done on the car, including the back door moldings! It looks FABULOUS! Not easy for a car with over 197,000 miles on it. I have tried hard to keep it well-maintained and pretty, so this work was very important to me. Don't bother calling anyone else. Make this your first and only call. This family-owned business has been around for 45 years and three generations, and they are kind, helpful, compassionate people. I highly recommend this business to anyone needing auto body work.

These guys are the real deal. Over the course of around half a year I was doing steady upgrades to…read moremy s2000 to make it look more like a Club Racer version. I took this car to this body shop twice for both upgrades; one for the bumper and lip and the other for the trunk and wing. Galaxy Auto Haus did a great job for all aspects of the upgrade, from paint matching to panel fitment. I really can't tell that the paint on the bumper, trunk, and body are not from the same painting run; the color match on these panels is that good. Pricing was pretty fair and Honorio was very meticulous when it came to getting all of the details right. If I have another kind of project for a car like this, I know that these guys will get it done right.

UPDATE: It's fascinating how some people can lie straight to…read moreyour face. I never said this job should cost only $200-$300. What I said was that it would take approximately 2-3 hours to respray a bumper that is already removed and disassembled, and that only requires scuffing with a Scotch-Brite pad to create proper adhesion before spraying. Second, your estimator attempted to upsell full respraying of both fenders on a practically new 2024 Mazda CX-5 for $1,600, so please don't claim the quote was based on the vehicle's condition or imply that it is in poor shape. The car is literally new. This is a classic upselling tactic--you wouldn't even fully respray the panels; you would blend them and increase your profit at an astronomical price. The bumper itself requires virtually no preparation and at most 6-7 coats with 5-minute flash times, so my 2-3 hour estimate was generous. At the midpoint, I stated that $100 would go toward materials such as paint and clear coat. That figure is based on what I can purchase it for myself, as I received several quotes. I am not buying in bulk or leveraging large volumes the way you do, so my estimate is not far from reality. It's a small bumper overall. As for spray booth time--you don't have one, and you would never rent one for a job this small. An important detail: I know how to paint and understand exactly how this work is done. Overall, I requested an online quote first and sent photos in advance. That request was dodged. Instead, I was pushed to come in person--so additional, unnecessary labor I never asked for could be "found" to justify the price. Lastly, I never said the bumper was painted twice. It was professionally painted, but the pearl component did not turn out to my liking. I came to your shop because you claimed you had matched this color before, yet your estimator was unable to name a single model you had matched it on. Nor did you provide any proof that you were capable of doing so. I don't mind paying extra for work that has already been done correctly, but after seeing these tactics and reading outright false statements, I'm glad I walked away. The "obstacles" your estimator tried to create included: 1. Searching for minor hairline scratches to justify repainting two additional panels on a new vehicle 2. Claiming shops don't like it when parts are already prepped or disassembled 3. Taking photos to point out alleged color differences between panels on a new car

I only discovered it once I got home. When I confronted the shop owner, Pat, he admitted to the damages but communication from that point on became challenging and more difficult than it needed to be. There were long gaps without his response and at times the tone felt dismissive or unnecessarily tense, which made the situation even more stressful. I've made many attempts to work with Pat to find a fair and reasonable solution. To this day, I'm actually still waiting for a reply to my last message asking again to discuss a reasonable solution. After repeated non-responses and apathetic communication, it became clear that no compromise would be reached. The only option he is willing to offer is the one solution I clearly stated I'm not comfortable with: bringing my car back this same shop that damaged it in the first place. Given the damages my car received from 5 Stars Automotive, my hesitation is understandable. I even tried to negotiate a different solution by providing multiple repair estimates from other reputable auto shops and he responded by calling this practice "dishonest" (very ironic, I know). I'm leaving this review because I believe it's important to be transparent about my experience. I put my trust in this shop to restore my car's appearance, but instead I'm forced to deal with additional damages they caused.
