JT's is a neighborhood bar. You'll mainly see locals and regulars here. They don't have a drink menu so be prepared and know what you want. Very casual place and they have karaoke on certain nights. You basically seat yourself and make yourself comfortable. The kitchen is closed on Mondays and open at 3pm on other days. Cash, Venmo and Zelle only. It's operated by one chef called Beto's Kitchen at JT's. We've been here many times. Wings take awhile so we call to place an order and come pick up. We had Prime Rib Friday's for $24 that comes with roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes. Perfect seasoning but the piece of meat was very chewy. Loved that the beer battered onion rings did not fall apart and maintained crispiness. Also got chicken nachos which were loaded and had fresh fried tortilla chips. My Volo kickball team comes here after our games to hang for a bit. The outdoor area has big jenga and a free pool table. It's a simple and fun spot to share a few beverages and have good conversation. Also parking isn't an issue because it backs on to an industrial park. read more

I tried another sports bar near my home. It's called J.T.'s Tavern. It's located on Mission Gorge rd. off the 8 fwy. I called and spoke with Foxer the bartender and informed me that there was NFL Ticket to watch all the games. That was good news because my team Steelers vs Bucaneers wasn't on basic cable. The place is small and not very much parking space. I found a space because it was a morning game. I get there and met Foxer the bartender. She pointed where the Steelers game was playing. The majority of the crowd were 49ers, Jaguars, and Ravens fan. I noticed there is a patio in the back that could hold maybe 30 people out there. There are tvs and you can possibly smoke. This place has a small kitchen that provides breakfast, sandwiches, finger foods like wings and fries. The bar had beer of the month for $3.50 for Miller High Life and Rolling Rock. Not a bad price for bottle beer. I didn't try any food this time, but the food looked good that was coming out of the kitchen. If it is your 1st time here,you order drinks at the bar, and to order food at the kitchen. Credit cards accepted at the bar and I only saw people paying cash at the kitchen. Perhaps, you can ask the bartender to include food on your tab from the kitchen. The bathroom surprisingly had a keg for a urinal to use. That was creative right? The bathroom looked cleaned and didn't smell. I overall give this place 3 stars for having NFL Ticket, a place to drink for cheap, and sell food. I absolutely love JT's! My sister threw my husband and I a wedding celebration party here before we got married and I was soooo turnt tf up that night! Lol. The bartenders were super cool and everyone was so sweet I felt like they were all my friends by the end of the night. Wow, what a terrible night! Me and 6 other industry people came in around 11pm for a night cap and were treated so poorly I'm actually still confused what went wrong. There was exactly ONE other person in the bar when we got there. Being a slow Monday night, I would have expected her to be happy to see a large group coming in! If it was busy, we would totally understand but that wasn't the case. Our Bartender was so angry and agitated with us, to the point that I had to ask what we did to upset her... She Sarcastically answered "OH NOTHING! Everything is great! Can't you tell!!" It only got worse from there. I'm super sad about this endeavor since I live nearby and always have great service from Foster. But this lady was so angry and agitated! She yelled at us about our form of payment (we all had matching Darden cards), when we inquired about incorrect charges on our checks, she yelled at us and told us "there was so much I didn't charge you for!"... we received nothing for free... And as she was getting angry, the kind security guard stepped in and told us to stop arguing with her. We explained our complaints and he then walked over to her to reason with her and her response was " THEY'RE 86'D!" A couple of friends of mine had recommend this local tavern to us for a drink that is offered, and all means go straight to animals. When arriving at JT's Tavern with my wife the security there had ask for our ID's. Okay, no problem. I handed him my ID. I asked, "How's the volume of the music?" I wanted to bring my pug and he has sensitive hearing. Just asking that question to him I was disrespected, threatened, discriminated against, yelled at, and harassed. My friends and wife witnessed his actions. I wouldn't recommend going here at all. Definitely no a friendly environment and the customer service wasn't up to par. This place was so unexpectedly fun! I went here for girls night AND we had a blast. Some times karaoke bars are awful but not here. The staff jumped in the late ole and had the crowd cheering! D was especially fun behind the bar and kept us entertained and laughing! It was such a great night and I just want to thank everyone there for helping us to have a much needed fun night out!
