I ordered carne asada fries and pina colada. The pina cada was great and refreshing but the problem i had was with the carne asada fries. It took exactly 15 minutes to come out, I thought it was going to be amazing cause it took a while. What I received was a pile of French fries that were not even cooked through, it was a pile of mush. It looked as if they microwaved the potatoes for 30 seconds. They were raw, undercooked, disgusting French fries. They barely put any asada on top. I paid $23 total including $4 tip. This was the most disappointing carne asada fries I have had in my life. LOCATION: This place isn't huge or fancy but I also wouldn't call it a "hole in the wall." SERVICE: Service is quick, keep in mind they make their juices and food right when you order so its fresh - fresh takes time! Came in on a cold Thursday evening and got the perfect pick me up of Carne de Res soup. The cashier and staff were friendly and quickly rung me up. This place is delicious! It's hard to find a good latino restaurant to eat in in Orange County. Many places have received awards, but they are not this good. I told my gringo fiance ;) that he doesnt know what good tacos or real latino food taste like based off of the places he has taken me. If you ask for the carne asada "sopes", you wont regret it. The name is close to the word "sopa" which means soup, but it has an "e" instead of an "a". You wont regret it! It has been the only place in OC that I've been able to find sopes. So delicious! By far the best Mexican food you will find on 19th street. Everyone is friendly and place is clean. Food takes time to come to you but they cook it fresh. They have large TVs and music playing making me feel very confortable. Restrooms could get better but is understanding considering location of the restaurant. read more

Worst service ever!!! I have been here 3 times and all 3 times they mess up my order! Then when I tell them, they say "oh well that's what we heard, or oh well nothing we can do" never do they say "sorry, let me fix it " or make it right! They act as if we should be serving them. I'd break it down to a five for the food, four for the atmosphere, and a four to five for the service. We came in at about 9:30PM which sucks for the workers there as they close at 10PM on Saturdays. The woman taking out order seemed a bit irritated but that's okay as she did warm up later that evening. We stepped outside after ordering to encounter a younger couple who seem to be participants of the methamphetamine lifestyle arguing heavily as they made their way through the plaza. As I was smoking a cigarette, something told me they'd come by and ask to bum one. I was not disappointed although I was hoping to NOT have to interact with them at all. Here's the scoop since this dirty laundry was aired so publicly: so basically she spends questionable amounts of time in some persons garage and has gone there more than once. She has done something in the past for him to get kicked out of wherever it is that he was living. She doesn't like that he's always yelling at her and told him that she doesn't want to be with him anymore and to leave her alone. She's walking away and he's following her on his G-ride aka bicycle. That's all I know about that incident. We get the food home and it was absolutely fantastic. I had the V-8 juice and I liked it because it didn't taste terrible and I knew it was FRESH and healthy. The huarache, burrito, and taco we ordered was most excellent in flavor, engineering, and composition. Be sure to ask for ice if you're getting your Acapulco juice and want it as a cool beverage. I'm not sure if this relates to the name of this place "Jugos Acapulco", but on their TV's, they had a mexican show playing that had a woman prancing about in swimwear and then with her top off but she was covering her breasts with her hands. I think this was a custom ad video for the restaurant and "Jugos Acapulco" if my Spanish is correct translates to Acapulcan Jugs. Definitely an interesting experience! read more

Amaaaazzzzzzziiiiiiiinnnnngggggg. Authentic little Mexican food spot located in a strip mall in a somewhat seedy side of town. But the food is awesome. Menu is in both Spanish and English and soccer is blaring from the tvs. It's a simple no frills place with amazing and authentic food. The breakfast burrito with carne asada is huge, but it tastes so good you don't want to stop eating it. When you order it wet, it's covered in sauce and cheese. Yummm. And the agua fresca strawberry is divine. It's also fresh out of the blender and served still in the blender glass to your table. The server was very nice and the food came out quickly. There was no one else in the restaurant, no line, nothing. We didn't mind that the girl working the front was doing other tasks on the side as we were not ready. When we were finally ready to order, I asked her if she can take our order now. So we order our food, but she seemed to have trouble working the computer and she called over an older lady from the back to help her. Obviously, my boyfriend and I didn't make a big deal of this. We've both worked restaurant jobs and know sometimes technology lacks with no fault of our own. So I ordered green chillaquiles with chicken, scrambled egg and a smoothie. My boyfriend ordered a torta and a smoothie too. We were charged but I didn't get the option to tip because I used a card and I felt guilty about it after. Well I'm so GLAD I didn't tip because this chick DID NOT deserve it. When we received our food, I got the wrong salsa. No big deal, i decided to eat it anyways. Buttt the salsa was a bit sour and I didn't like it so I decided to tell them I had actually ordered GREEN chilaquiles and I received red and the salsa wasn't good. She rudely looked at me and took the plate back to the kitchen. She later came back and said the kitchen staff couldn't do anything about it because it was already out and made and I had taken a bite. I told her that I wanted to try it in case I liked it, but I didn't like it and I had in fact ordered green salsa initially and not red. Well, now this is where shit went south. She then proceeded to call me a liar and kept swearing that I said red. (I tried not to make a big deal as I said I've worked at a restaurant and I've made mistakes too) However, I got mad when she crossed the line and in Spanish told us that "it was our fault and maybe this wouldn't have happened if we weren't fucking around in line an goofing off. That if we would've actually paid attention to what we were saying we would've realized what we ordered" HAHAHA. The audacity to tell us that!?! My boyfriend got mad and eventually they remade my food and another girl from the front delivered it. Their staff should really be trained right. There was no need to talk to us like that. Obviously were mad after and left. Sadly, I won't be returning because she was extremely rude and ruined this place for me. There are plenty of other places with amazing Mexican food! Had a guava agua fresca and churro. Churro is pricey but was fine. Less sweet than El Pollo Loco but I guess ultimately depends who is rolling the churro in the cinnamon sugar pile. The agua fresca was a surprise. Said no sugar on the menu but I just assumed it was preserves or some type of syrup. Sure wasn't. Unsweetened guava. One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the world. They make the best fresh jugos and aguas I have ever tasted, and also have a lot of vegan food options. The fresh jugos and ensalada menus offer a great variety of fruits and veggies, and the ingredients always taste very fresh and sweet. They have a nice outdoor patio and plenty of seating. Service is always really friendly and fast, and they accept all credit cards (even Amex). My favorite juice is the "Frutas" which is a combination of pineapple, mango, strawberry, and cantaloupe. Their Watermelon agua is also incredible. For food, I always get the potato tacos or flautas, which come served with beans, rice, and salad. The food always tastes so flavorful without being too oily or heavy. Everything at the fresh salsa bar is fantastic, so make sure you add plenty to your food. I like that this restaurant serves fresh fruit juices/smoothies as well as some pretty bomb Mexican food at an inexpensive price. We tried the avocado smoothie and an antigripal juice as well as some tacos for taco Tuesday. The avocado smoothie was surprisingly creamy and had a hint of sweetness which I liked. I ordered a small antigripal and the texture was more smoothie-like than a juice however I didn't mind since it's made with fresh fruit - honey, lemon, orange, guava, and pineapple. The small is pretty big and comes in a jar which is also a plus. Also tried the carnitas, asada, and lengua tacos as well. Lengua was by far the best! I'd definitely recommend trying this if you happen to stop by. It's rare for me to find taco places that serve lengua. Unfortunately I'm taking off a star since the lady at the register forgot to put in one of our tacos. If you have a big order - make sure the cashier reads back your order. The meet honestly it tasted like when you boil meat without salt and just took it out of the water and pored salsa on it. The consomé it literally tastes like water with grease on it. We also order a plate of chilaquiles with meat. The chilaquiles again is like I grabbed chips and pores salsa on top, the meat was decent. My drinks were not cold. Always loved this place and just getting to writing them a review now. My favorite thing to get almost weekly is the strawberries banana and chocolate licuado. My husband is always stopping by to pick this up for me Always fresh and a wonderful treat! My toddlers and I enjoy eating their Milanesa dish with their fresh avocado salsa and potato tacos! I am so happy I met this place, the plates and drinks were delicious and the timing was on point. Also, I would like to thank the afternoon staff for our amazing service and the help of the supervisor by there manager Miguel. I 100% recommend on this place, with the Covid-19 the staff made sure everything was sanitized before we got there and they were using gloves, mask and the distance between us which made the service even better. The patio was very nice decorated I loved how they put gardlens around the patio to make it look amazing. This place has such a crazy menu. They offer so many different dishes its nuts. Good kind of nuts though :) I just went for lunch a week ago. Had the pierna torta which was delicious and it was only $5 which is a great price for its size. Loaded with meat, cheese, avocado, jalapenos, lettuce, tomatoes and onions. Then I went ahead and ordered a medium pineapple agua...and I got a blender of pineapple goodness. All the girl put in the blender was fresh pineapple and ice, blended the thing and brought it to my table. Fresh, refreshing, delicious. And I ended up at Jugos Acapulco under false pretenses. The name screams "WE HAVE AMAZING JUICE." I walked inside on a hot day, just repeating "juice juice juice juice juice juice juice" over and over in my head. My tongue was like the Mojave. I could barely contain myself when I saw the menu of juices with all their fruity ingredients. So I step up and order a jugo de frutas. And after peeking behind the cashier at a sign promoting fish tacos, I decided to snag one of those too. Why not. I was about to find out. My order was up so I grabbed it and went to my car, planning to enjoy my hangover meal at home where I was away from judging eyes. I start driving, and simultaneously start inhaling my juice. It. Was. WARM. I swear I felt tears welling up in my eyes. I had been waiting all morning/afternoon for this, to be totally disappointed. My tongue now hated me. I added ice cubes to the juice when I got home, but they immediately melted and made the juice all watery. To add insult to injury, the fish taco was bland and unsatisfying. MMMMMMMMMM to their juices! and partially to their tacos. Whenever I go to a "fresh" juice bar, I rarely see real fruit in its natural fresh form. As in, the fruits are always frozen or they make it in the back, where you can't see them make it, but if you peep hard enough, you see liquids and powders going into your "fresh juice" When I ordered a large cup of pineapple juice, know what they did? They took an actual pineapple, cut that baby up right infront of me and threw it into the juicer. THAT is some fresh juice my friends. If you order the larger smoothies, they give you the entire blender jar and your filled cup bc they give so much. Their food was pretty good. I would rather walk to El Toro Bravo 3 stores down and order food, then come to this place to sit down and enjoy the many delicious fresh beverages. How does this place not have a review? As per the tradition of eating the food that a restaurants is named after let us start with the jugos. The prices are quite balk-worthy, but there is nothing quite like being served your jugo in the enormous blender that it was prepared in. Plenty of blended fruity goodness to serve two or three people. Who knew the smoothie revolution was actually started by the mexicans? If you're not in the mood for a healthy drink go for one of the aguas frescas (your typical fare) or a bucket of beers. The food is consistently good. Tortas are served on amazing bread - lightly crispy on the outside, warm and soft on the inside. Just the right amount of filling to be edible without making a (huge) mess. The quesadillas and enchiladas are served with freshly fried queso fresco. Queso fresco! The beans are always seasoned correctly (perhaps with lard, but they are delicious and certainly don't feel *too* fatty) and the rice is never dry or sticky. Always just right. I've yet to have a burrito here, but all of my dining compatriots seem happy with theirs. Lets finish with the salsa bar. A variety of salsas, your normal pickled carrots, onions and jalapenos and opaque white gel type things? WTF? They're chewy and almost flavorless, I asked one of the staff people what the hell this stuff was. No translation into english seemed to be available. I found this stuff several weeks later at a mexican market. Pickled pork rinds. Let me just say that again. Pickled. Pork. Rinds.
