I love coming here! The service is fast and the people are awesome. Everything is made fresh and you can see everything that they're doing so you know what you're consuming is fresh. I love getting the different varieties of juices and fruit bowls. My favorite is to order the California juice And the Hawaiina bowl without condensed milk. Well I have to start off by saying l've never felt more at home at a restaurant. The lady at the front I believe her name was lupita instantly made me feel welcome and excited to try the food. I was missing a home cooked meal since I moved here from Texas. The caldo de pollo was just like my grandma used to make growing up. I was relieved when the girl here greeted me in Spanish then easily switched to English when I responded - and without a hint of judgement. It's a small kindness, and I appreciated it. (she drank sometimes) On this day in December I watch the señora from my seat at the counter, her Christmas tree hat looming over eyes the color of cinnamon sticks. Her wrinkled hands gently break into a fresh torta and I watch the heat escape the crisp shell, leaving soft pan in its wake. My mouth waters. The blender is excitedly making a mess of my piña agua fresca but I pay no attention because my eyes are locked on the crisp shell being fried in front of me. It's the same smell that is embedded in my own kitchen - fried tortilla and fresh papa to fill it. It's Sunday and the cumbias are bumpin'. Women are walking in with tight jean skirts and crunchy hair. Their sanchos in crisp ranchero shirts and perfectly shined boots. I drink my second cup of agua fresca And still have half the blender left. This act of generosity astounds me; when you order a drink, you get the whole freakin' blender full! It amounts to about 3 full size cups of juice. So that $3.50 price you see listed? Yeah that includes about 2 extra refills of these intoxicating juices. What other juice business does this?! Surely not those bourgeois hipster joints in West LA *pfft* puhleeze. Tips: 1. Make sure your Geico is active cuz you're gonna meet a clusterfuck in the parking lot. Or, better yet, just cover your hooptey in bubble wrap. 2. There's gonna be two señors that come in here selling 99 cent keychains for $2 with slips of paper saying they're deaf. One of them is totally legit (*2 bucks for him*). The other one, you'll catch chattin' up Chata in the drive-thru at Big K's Burgers next door. Yeah I saw you, cabron. 3. This is a small place, so leave your extended family at home. 4. The menu is solamente en espanol, but don't be afraid to ask for clarification. No judgement from these folks! 5. After a failed attempt at going to Siam Taste of Asia (it was closed for Veteran's Day!), we drove around and ended up at this tiny place next to a laundromat and Big K's Burgers. You walk in and the menu is on the wall to your right. They have a wide selection of juices and eats, but what drew my attention were the tortas. Everything was in Spanish so some I was able to guess while others completely flew over my head. I got the Cubana Torta, which sounded safe enough... and my two friends got the Carne Torta. One of them also ordered a "Coco Licuado", which we assumed was Coconut Juice. You order and pay at the counter then they bring the food to you. Our tortas came out piping hot on this warm, delicious bread! The outside was nice and crispy with its edges flaking off when you bite into it, the inside maintained its softness. All tortas also come with melted cheese, avocado chunks, and jalapenos - they ask you beforehand if it's ok to have all of that in there. I opted for no avocados since it makes my stomach ache like no other (sucks huh?). My Cubano Torta came with thick chunks of pork and ham while my friends' Carne Tortas came with a decent about of beef. They also have a condiments bar on the side in case you want to add more jalapenos, avocados, and salsa to your meal. The Coconut Licuado was quite good too, but definitely not what we were expecting. The juice was super thick, more like a shake than a juice - we had to ask for spoons to scoop up the coconut chunks. If you like coconut you'll like this. They also had other drinks like papaya, pineapple, strawberry, banana, and more. Overall, a great cheap eat - I love hole in the walls, as ghetto as some of them may seem, they have their own charm and elegance that no fancy schmancy restaurant can provide. The folks behind the counter were super nice too. When I came there were only two ladies working - one spoke fluent english while the other one spoke none. CASH ONLY. read more

I've been going here for several years and so far I've tried the Tortas, chicken tacos, tostadas, the Hawaiiana, green juices, and caldo de pollo. They are all super tasty! I'm honestly shocked by how perfectly balanced the green juices are. So refreshing on a hot day! Their red salsa is so yummy and has the perfect amount of spice! The place is easy to see but hard to find since the lot is hidden next to the big burger place. Parking was easy at 3 pm on a weekday. The girl who greeted me spoke perfect English and told me her favorite was the Al Pastor Torta, but that the Cubana or Milanesa were the common order. There are deals on their FB page and if you check in on Yelp. They still honored the $1 check in deal showing even though it said it expired Oct. 2013. A torta and a Vampiro with the discount came out to be less than $10 total. Pretty great deal since the portions were big and fresh. The pork had a little gristle but had great flavor and the torta was moist with beans adding to the moistness. The drink was huge. Well satisfied and will come back since this is the cleanest Mexican juice place I've found in Santa Ana. read more

Everything is made to order, so all the drinks, food and fruit orders take a while to make. I order the Hawaiiana which is a mix of like seven different fruits, topped with cottage cheese, pepitas and raisins. I always say no papaya or dried coconut though. To drink, my go to is the Eskimo de Chocomil. It's like a frozen nesquik, but so good! They use frozen milk instead of ice to make it flavorful and cold. You can also call ahead if you're on a time crunch. I like to order about 5-10 min before I head out for my lunch break. They speak Spanish and English! read more

The juice here is affordable and delicious. I love that the workers are Spanish speaking humans investing in their local community in such a beautiful way. Everytime I visit there is a long hair beautiful woman who doesn't speak much English that knows who I am and what my order is. Probabaly because I'm the only non Spanish speaker walking thru the door. The juice flavors and combos are like crack. I get jugos de frutas drink and it fills me up and nourishes me. I can't wait to be at the beach sipping this during summer. The flavors take you to tropical lands where the sun and fruit is all you need and everything else fades away. I order 2-4 at a time to drink throughout the week or if I avoiding solid food that day to juice cleanse with. I've created my own juices too but none have been quite as tasty as this combination they sell. I don't eT meat so I Haven't tried any of their food but there are always men picking up food and you know men don't play games with comfort food. SUPPORT this cute local business. Feels like I'm visiting Mexico when I'm here, miss the home cooked meals when I visit Mexico so this is almost similar to it. I've been coming here for over 25 years. Their Hawaiian fruit salad is definitely an A+ signature item here. Their tortas are excellent and their tacos dorados are exquisite. All of their natural juices are prepared to perfection. They're pretty busy a big part of the day. The waiting time is fair depending on what you ordered (5-12 minutes). On Saturday, I find myself driving around the city of Santa Ana and instantly this observation is made.. .. there is a shit ton of Mexican restaurants in Santa Ana. More places to eat Mexican food than Tijuana. We arrived at Jugos Vallarta because my girlfriend insisted on getting a fresh juice. Normally, I would just dismiss these sorts of requests but this time I was feeling generous... So I thought. The parking was completely horrendous. The parking lot is shared with a recycling center, a dingy burger joint and a laundry mat. Lapping the parking lot searching for a place to park put me in a panic. I could just imagine one these uninsured drivers pulling out and hitting my car. After lap 3, I settled into a nice compact parking spot right smack between the laundry mat and Jugos Vallarta. No, I don't have change... Sorry, I don't pass out money to strangers... No, I do not have a dollar... No, I will not put your laundry in the dryer when it's done... and this continued till I reached the door. I immediately spy the "Cash only, no ATM" sign" and before I know it, I'm now standing out front asking people strolling by if they have any change. Bring cash and have a Carne Asada taco. That's all I can speak for since that was all I the cash I could afford. The taco was pretty damn good and I'll be back for more and to buy my girlfriend her juice. read more

It's definitely an overlooked gem in Santa Ana. Been here a few times and its so clean it always smells like pinesol lol the juices are amazing and for a fair price. They are so inexpensive I don't bother bringing lunch to work, I simply call ahead and pay when I pick it up. The ladies that work there are very friendly and offer great customer service. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because its a bit run down. Needs new decor or something. read more
