Yes, it looks nice, however the base that should be the main thing is too little. I want Açaí with fruit not the opposite. Although the taste is good (not the best), the consistency is too watery. Was feeling exhausted and needed a healthy drink. I was in the shopping center fixing my phone and saw this downstairs. They have quite a menu of drinks and bowls. Everything looked good. The prices seemed high but pretty normal for the area. It was $7.99 for a 16 oz. drink with kale, spinach, romaine, lemon, ginger, cucumber, apple and parsley. It took just a few minutes for them to bring me my drink. It was so very tasty. I don't usually add parsley but it added a nice heat to add to the ginger. I just felt better already after tasting the delicious & healthy concoction! The reviews are right about the parking lot but their is an underground parking that I think can be used. I usually go to Rainbow Acres for juices but would definitely come back here again. I would love to try their bowls. The reviews make it sound wonderful! read more

I had high hopes for a new Acai Bowl place here in the Marina. I'd become a bit of an Acai addict since having my first last year, and I've tried bowls from Santa Barbara to Hawaii. I had the Acai Protein Bowl from Juice Crafters, and it was a huge disappointment. Let's start with the texture. An Acai Bowl should have a consistency that's thicker than a smoothie, and more like a soft-serve ice cream. The bowl I had was thinner than a smoothie, more like Acai soup. As for the ingredients, it's hard to look past the giant "glop" of almond butter. The pieces of almonds and walnuts are also way too big, and should be diced. In some bites the nuts were so large, I was afraid that I was biting down on a shell. The banana slices were all over the place. Some were thin & edible, others were a huge mouthful. As for pricing, there isn't any!! Only after you place an order do you discover that your Acai Bowl is over $13!! And here I thought the $10 Acai Bowls at Earthbar in Equinox were over-priced. Now they look like a bargain, and the quality is so much better. Even the Acai Bowls at Jamba Juice are better in my opinion, and a much better value for the price. read more

When I approached the counter attendant about this, he boldly proclaimed "we enforce mask wearing at all times". I asked him, "Well, what about the couple a few minutes ago?". He feigned ignorance and half-apologized for misleading. Located in busy Marina Del Rey, I popped in for a quick bite- looking for something a little healthier trying to avoid grains this place seemed like a good option. Staff was helpful and courteous place was small, but clean and space was efficiently used especially for the Marina area. I ordered the Muscle beach it hit the spot, the menu was perfect not too many options but enough. Their ready to section could use a few bottles of water and a protein option would be nice like a egg and fruit or oeanut butter type similar to Starbucks, I would much rather go to a small but rather than a big coffee chain like Starbs. Overall 4.5 stars I was in and out pretty quick no chairs, so hanging out wasn't really on option - i didn't bother to check for wifi; however they are good at getting you in and out quickly. This place is hard to rate because it looks amazing when you first get the bowl. So amazing, I dove right in and forgot to take a pic to share! But when you dig into the bowl, it's kind of disappointing. First off, there's a ton of fruit - which is great. But NO GRANOLA!! I've had mucho acai bowls and they've always had granola, so I view it as just a given. I guess you have to ask for it here. I love the granola crunch with all the fruit and the acai, which I've always enjoyed - except for here. Secondly, the blueberries were still kind of frozen. Again, been to many acai spots, and I'm getting fresh, not frozen, berries - except for here. That was a bummer. Lastly (and I believe someone else said this) there's more fruit than acai. I don't think it's that hard to balance the two - except for here. There are other spots with better bowls. Love this place, they have so many options on the menu. My favorite is Blue Bird and have been dreaming about it daily. The cashier was very friendly and informative. I was confuse with so many pressed juice options. The one puzzling thing was, the packaged food were not made/ prep there and the staff didn't know the ingredients at all. I got the Tu-Nah wrap and asked about the components of the "tu-nah". The cashier has stepped away and a guy that was making my smoothie stepped out to help. Actually kinda disappointed! I've been waiting to try this place for a really long time so I finally decided to drop by. I ordered the açaí protein bowl and it sounded amazing. Buuuuuut when they called my name I got a bowl with a lid on it that had condensation.. typically this means that they took it out of the fridge and it wasn't made fresh. I told myself "hey it's cool, maybe it's just cold." When I got back to my office across the street I opened up the bowl and it was like a thick frozen paste! It is quick, filling, delicious, and a fun purplish color from the blueberries. The MB smoothie is made with almond milk, almond butter, banana, blueberries, and plant based protein. This review is based on the juice cleanse. I tried the Enhance & Repair juice cleanse for 3 days. Of the 4 cleanses they have, this one looks the hardest in terms of flavor of the juices because they consist mostly of green veggies, and root veggies, and the only "juice" they add in these veggie juice are slight apple flavor, lemon, and ginger. I do not like sweet juice anyway, so I thought this would not be too hard. The flavors of the juices are actually tolerable. Some (like Alkaline) are tasty. However, I knocked down 2 stars because there is no consistency with the taste of the juice. The first bottle of Rootier juice had a very very strong ginger taste (till the point it tastes spicy), which I like, but the second bottle had not much ginger flavor and more sweet like apple, which made me want to throw up. I do not think it is my palette changing? or something like that because I had my friend try a few sips from both the first and the second bottle (Day 1 and Day 2), and she was not doing a juice cleanse. She also thought the flavors were different. The first time I tried Rootier, I thought I like it so much that I want to continue to buy just the Rootier occasionally in the future. However, after trying the second bottle and tasting how different it was, I do not think I will ever order it again. read more
