I cannot recommend their smoothies. They are small and seem to be mostly chunks of poorly blended ice. At this volume and price point, I expect more real ingredients and I'm appalled at how much ice was in my drink. The decor was cute and the service is friendly. Maybe their juices are better?

Yummy superfood smoothies! They have various food and drink items; nutrient-rich bowls, immune-boosting shots, cold coffee, bottled smoothies, and meal-replacement smoothies. The girl at the front was friendly and patient.

I recommend juice Crafters after having their Green smoothie post workout/run. The customer service was really good and the price for the quality of smoothie I received I would not mind paying again. The store front is small but was well organized and you are able to view the menu and see the other items for sale easily on display.

Had the original açaí bowl 11.99 and it was splendid. They put a whole banana, the best coconut pieces I ever had (pieces not flakes ok) 2 strawberries, and their mixed granola. The girl who helped me out was super nice too! Didn't give it a 5 star because I came here 3 times in a row already and spent $36, wish they had smaller options just for small cravings.

Great basic açaí bowl option! Probably the best in the Marina/Playa area and they're generous with their toppings. Overall bowl size is large and very filling. General side note - the shop isn't large and wait can be long if you're hitting a rush (aka Sunday morning 10am when most folks are done with workouts) but the bowls were carefully made and customer service was good so it's worth it! Definitely will return when I'm craving something fresh and cool after a workout or when it's warm out.

First time coming here and my last. Super expensive açaí bowl and it's mostly filled with granola and on top of that I had to wait like 15 mins to get it

Juice Crafters is my go-to when I need a meal replacer, açaí bowl, or just in the mood to cleanse/detox my body. They have a great menu and usually have specials that gives you a free protein powder scoop, wellness shot, etc. If you've never been, i strongly reco trying the Pacific Love or Crunchy monkey. both are similar in taste and are really great! The dragon fruit reboot or açaí power boost smoothies are good if you're not a fan of peanut butter/banana combos. Definitely check this place out if you're looking for a light breakfast/lunch in MDR.

That was just half of the nuts in our bowl.
    Colin M.

Asked if they recycle. They said no. Ordered açaí protein bowl with their vanilla protein powder and asked if they know how many grams of protein they put in there. They said no. The bowl of açaí was more a bowl of nuts than it was acai. They should just call it a nut bowl with protein powder. The amount of nuts in there was utterly off putting. I hope they start a recycling bin soon.

First time trying juice crafters must admit they have some amazing smoothies. It's a perfect spot after a long hike or a quick jog.

Really tried to like this place. The staff can careless about their customers. Did not speak a word with me when I tried to say hello.

    Suzie S.

Very disappointed this time. Have been drinking smoothies from Juice Crafters for years. When I ordered my smoothie I specifically asked for double blending- this was clearly not done as I was chewing the kale in my drink (Summerland). My husband's smoothie (crunchy monkey) was tasteless. Finally, they were using paper straws for awhile, but for some reason these were plastic (I thought plastic straws were banned) and had holes in them so you couldn't use them. We were driving so much easier to use a straw than the alternative, but couldn't because they were damaged.

What a wonderful surprise…read more I live just around the corner from Jamaica Bay Inn, and for whatever reason, it took me far too long to finally have dinner here with family and friends. I wish I'd discovered it sooner. The restaurant overlooks Mother's Beach, and the setting is exactly what you'd hope for: peaceful, relaxed, and quintessential Marina del Rey. You almost expect the view to be the highlight... Then the food shows up. For appetizers, we shared the hummus plate and the calamari. Both were excellent. As someone whose kids were practically raised eating seafood around the ports of New England, calamari is one of those deceptively simple dishes we judge pretty harshly. Beachside absolutely passed the test. I ordered the cheeseburger, which was solid, but the real stars of the evening were the roasted Jidori chicken and the jumbo shrimp fettuccine. The chicken was perfectly juicy, something that sounds easy but surprisingly few restaurants consistently get right. The shrimp fettuccine completely stole the show. In fact, it's now become my daughter's regular takeout order, and she's easily the toughest pasta critic in our family. Congratulations... you've officially earned the title of our favorite pasta spot in the Marina. The service was another highlight. Our server spoke both German and Italian, had a great sense of humor, and made the evening feel warm and effortless. Between the location, the food, and the hospitality, I already know this is going to become one of our regular family dinner spots.

First let me say that Nahum, who helped us was excellent. The absolute perfect balance of checking on you but not overdoing it. If it weren't for Nahum, morning sun, and the breeze, I think we would have sent back our plates and left. Really. We didn't tell him there were any issues, because once the decision was made to stay, why ruin his holiday too? lol Ordered coffee. Dreadful. Ok, no big deal. The food came out and I could immediately SEE The Unappetizing . It's special when you can tell that your food is going to be bad before you take one bite. The French toast was Sahara dry, burned and flavorless. The chicken, was competing with it in the dry and flavorless category-- I really can't say which was worse. I don't really use hot sauce and I drowned the tenders in Cholula just to make it halfway edible. Literally we could have waited for the AMC chicken tenders and they would have been better, which is horrifying. Particularly when you try to avoid fried food in general and now you are poisoning your body for no good reason. Husband ordered a steak and eggs, medium well. I'll attach the picture and I'll let you be the judge of whether or not it was cooked properly. Eggs were not good either. Immediately, I gave hubby more than half my plate because he eats All of Everything that's put in front of him. Something would have to get up and walk off his plate for him to not eat it. He was taught not to waste food, period. The exception was steak so that he could take it home, cook it, and then eat it. This was possibly the worst meal I've ever had, and certainly on a special occasion. So many places we could have gone today that would have been a different experience, but it will never happen again. The staff are dressed in matching white t-shirts and pants, and the shirts say "All-Day Cafe." However, we walked in a little after 3:00 PM and found out we couldn't order smoothies (which end at 3:00) or breakfast items (which end much earlier at 11:00). For an "all-day cafe," that felt like a bit of a misrepresentation. Since it was very, very hot outside, I was disappointed that they were serving lukewarm water. Unfortunately, there was no vegan pizza on the menu, but our first waiter was very, very nice and friendly, and he had the kitchen accommodate us by omitting the cheese, substituting olive oil for chili oil, and adding spinach. The pizza turned out to be very thin, but yummy, and my party also enjoyed the ceviche. I had an iced coconut coffee that was absolutely delicious. After our first waiter ended his shift, our second waiter, Mike H., took over the table and never checked on us not even one single time after someone dropped off the food. When a small issue came up with one of the plates, he was just so nonchalant and dismissive, and Mike didn't add to the ambiance of the place at all. Fortunately, I believe it was a manager who then stepped in with a smile and addressed the issue, which was really nice. Aside from that unfortunate service experience, the food and drinks were tasty, but the misleading menu hours, lukewarm water on a hot day, and inattentive waiter definitely left room for improvement.

I was impressed by the freshness and quality of the food. Food also came out promptly. We started with the eggplant which was creamy and covered with fresh vegetables and herbs. And our server helped make sure our pork chop arrived with the tomato salad we ordered to accompany it - the pork was extremely tender and tasted beautifully with the salad. I reached out to the Gjelina team about my plastic experience and they were quick to not only take accountability but do a full-blown investigation, update their protocols, and invite me back to regain my trust. INVESTIGATION I was honestly take aback at the lengths they went to to ensure the utmost quality control. They shared that each pizza dough is individually wrapped for transport from their bakery, then assembled onsite. To make sure the plastic mishap doesn't happen again, they updated their protocol to ensure more supervisor and individual checkpoints from drop off to assembly to baking. ACCOUNTABILITY I was really appreciative of the general manager being so quick to respond and share what they were doing to understand the root of the issue AND how they could make it right. It was one thing to apologize, it's another to take action to ensure it doesn't happen again. It was evident to me then that they not only care about their business, but the customer experience as it relates to quality & safety. REBUILDING TRUST The general manager was kind enough to invite us back to have dinner on the house! Impressed by their measures to right their wrongs, I accepted and went to try some new things.... - Zucchini with zatar seasoning: fresh, great texture, good veggie starter - Hamachi Crudo: bright citrus light and delicious. Would've loved a little touch of blood orange to bring some more zing - Chorizo & Fennel Pizza: we braved the pizza again and it really was delicious. Super soft bubbles in the crust leading to a crispy yet soft bite. Amazing texture and flavor combinations - Duck Confit: WOW! I went with my French boyfriend and even he approved. Perfectly crispy skin, juicy cooked to perfection inside, and the grapes were a nice unexpected touch with the flavor profile. DO NOT SKIP! SO GOOD! - Wagyu beef cheek & burrata pasta: WOWOWW! This and the duck stole the show. The flavor was out of this world. Al dente pasta shells with the decadent sauce and creamy burrata. Magnificent! - Butterscotch Pot: delicious delightful, perfect for a touch of sweetness to finish the meal OVERALL There's a lot of great restaurants in LA but not all of them have service to match. Gjelina you really impressed me with your customer care and action oriented accountability! I forgive you and I will return again. (Note: This review was not promoted or requested from the team.
