Let me just say this review is based only on the fruit juice that I bought. I didnt get any smoothies. The owner? woman mixing the juices said that we could pick a few different fruits for the fruit juice. You would think pick a few fruits to be blended into a fruit juice? Yeah here was where trickery was at it's finest. She put a shot glass of fruit flavored syrup thing into a big cup of water and ice, mixed it up and charged $3 bucks for basically some VERY watered down fruit punch! Hello! Fruit punch is NOT fruit juice. Very misleading and dishonest. Also, the whole time we were there, 2-3 big flies were circling around her and us. Really gives a BIG tell tale sign about the cleanliness of the place. It's really the worst juice place I've ever been to! There is NO way that juice stop warrants 5 stars, no way. read more

What a fantastic menu! I decided to do the unthinkable and go to a movie by myself. An old tradition was to bring in my own snackaroos. This time I decided to sneak in a smoothie from Juice Stop. I was so delighted by the selection. It is huge! So many smoothies to choose from and custom make and fresh squeezed juice. I was so delighted. I got the Hat Trick smoothie with papaya, coconut, banana, peaches, and...ummm...I don't remember, but it was good. You can also add three shots of different boosts. The service was sooo friendly. As I was leaving, I thought I was sneaking away and a beautiful Asian gal yelled, "bye!" with a huge smile on her face. Awww....Juice Stop loves me! I love them too! read more

When I came up to the counter, the employees were behind the counter singing and carrying on rather than taking my order. My juice was decent and the customer service was okay. The wife was craving a smoothie after walking along the beach. Of course with all the advertising and franchising we were looking for a Jamba Juice. There used to be one in Oceanview Plaza, but it was closed and replaced by a yogurt shop. Luckily the wife remembered the Juice Stop and I'm happy that she did. This is probably the friendliest smoothie shop that I have ever been too. It pays when it's a small business. People are more dedicated to their service and to the product they are producing. The woman at the front (who I think might have been the owner), helped us to navigate their huge menu simply by flavors that we were interested in. We both made selections that matched perfectly with our desires. Nothing like a great tasting smoothie on a hot day in San Clemente. I hope to be able to stop in to the Juice Stop many more times in the future! read more

This small juice stand puts Jamba Juice to shame. First off the prices are much lower. Even with the mandatory fifty cent charge for use of credit/debit (no minimum purchase waiver) the price for a smoothie is only $4.49, which is considerably lower than Jamba or Juice it up, especially considering that you get three free supplement additives (which come from a longer, more detailed list). Second is the service; fast and friendly. The women that work this little joint even spend their downtime decorating each cup by hand with fortune-cookie phrases. It's a nice little personal touch that makes heading to work tolerable. And finally, the food is well worth it. Although the salads are simple and the sandwiches aren't anything to write home about, they compliment the smoothie list perfectly. Add the fact that this place is open for a nice morning bagel before you head to the beach to watch the marine layer dissipate and you have a recipe for success. Oh, and they also serve wheat-grass by the oz. I strongly recommend this establishment, you will not be disappointed. read more

This Juice Stop has to be the best juice bar ever! They have just about every vegetable to satisfy the queerest tastes in hyper-health. They also have a great variety of smoothies, and they offer sandwiches too. The girls at the counter are happy and helpful, and the place is generally pretty clean. It has been a few weeks since my last visit, but when I was there, they were planning on adding a few flavors of frozen yogurt, which you can't currently get in the shopping area on De Los Mares. A word of caution to those who are not well experienced in vegetable juicing: if you have beets added to your blend, expect to see hues of red in the toilet after a few hours. This place has never failed me. Great, healthy smoothies that are fairly priced. They also have chips, protein bars and other wraps. I suggest the free fall with chocolate and peanut butter. They offer 3 free boosts with every smoothie which is great as well! If it's busy it might be a little bit of a wait just because there's not too many blenders, but it's worth the wait and they work as fast as they can! Fourth visit here, and that's within about two weeks. I'm working my way through the menu. I've done a number one grand slam, a number two hole in one, and a number three slamdunk. Today I'm doing a number four: slalom. So far, they've all been delicious! The quality and value, along with the boosts that they throw in for free and the excellent quality service make this an easy stop for a great juice or smoothie. Huge selection of smoothies and they all sound so delicious. They have a wide range of fruits to choose from, not just your typical Jamba Juice selection. Jamba doesn't have Watermelon, but Juice Stop does!!! The boys in my office stop here just about daily, and I finally decided to give it a shot... So glad I did! The gal who worked the counter was super friendly and very knowledgeable. I let her know of my allergies to citrus and she helped guide me to a yummy choice. She even threw in an extra fruit for me. You get 3 free boosts with your smoothie and unlike the crap at Jamba Juice (I NEVER get their boosts, had a bad experience, and don't ever want to go through that again!) ... anyways, unlike Jamba, you don't taste the boosts. There is a variety to choose from, so whatever tickles your pickle, they'll throw in for ya! Prices are good and you get a cute little message hand written on your cup. Soooo yummy & delicious! Glad we listened to my husbands recommendation for wanting a refreshing and cool beverage. We all loved our smoothies & the employees were both very friendly & knowledgeable about what they have to offer. In case you're wondering, we had: Freestyle w/ginseng & protein, freestyle, & 2 off the lip. 100% worth every dollar! For the size & price this is one of our go to spots from now on when we are in the area! Ordered an açaí bowl and wanted to sub almond milk for soy, which is actually cheaper than soy, and they still insisted on charging me $.50 extra to total $6.80 for an açaí bowl that was full of frozen fruit and nothing fresh! This is pretty disappointing and the proportions of açaí to other frozen fruit was disappointing. Not worth the money. Seems like the only people who enjoy this are the ones who have yet to taste a good juice and smoothie made of fresh fruits. Only those who live in this small town with little exposure to other juice shops will continue support this business. read more

I ordered a Large, Tour de France with extra sherbet instead of banana. It was phenomenal. The girls are extremely friendly. Prices are very fair and the large is perfect for any customer feeling the need of a a little extra refreshment in their day. The girl working today was very sweet. There are so many options for smoothies that I didn't even know what to pick, so since I like tart, she recommended the number 8. It was still pretty sweet, less tart, but it was very good. I also needed something to eat and I was glad to find that they had sandwiches and wraps and other foods to offer. I got the tuna wrap and I do not regret it one bit! Though I usually prefer my tuna melts and not to have sweet relish in my tuna, this was amazing. I've been here a dozen times and I have never been disappointed with the service or my food. The employees are very knowledgeable and friendly. I usually will get a smoothie. They have all different types and can substitute different fruits or veggies to your liking. The smoothies are about $4-6 and come in one-size-fits-all cup, which always has been decorated with a cute quote at the top. You can also get nutrients or Vitamins added. There is seating inside or outside, but I usually take my food to-go, since it can be rather loud inside with the blenders. they also have their own parking spaces right out front for your connivence.
