I think TikTok made this place much busier but it's worth it! It's quick to order but takes a while to get your order. I waited over 30 minutes to receive my bowl on a Thursday afternoon. By far the best açaí bowls anywhere you can find! I won't even bother getting an açaí bowl from anywhere as no where else can compare. Arleigh makes everything fresh- from her granola to homemade nut butters, and gets her produce and honey from local farmers. She and her friendly staff put their TLC into every bowl and you can taste the difference. The shop is conveniently located between the beach and the bay so you can take your bowl to enjoy with a beautiful view in either direction! Do yourself a favor and treat yourself! read more

Best, biggest most delicious bowl I've ever had! The mountain of fresh fruit pouring over the top should be all you need to try this place. They make their own homemade nut butters and everything tastes so so good. You get your moneys worth with the portion making this more of a meal than a snack. Service was exceptional. Legit 5 star acai. Everything you want in an acai, it's perfection. We came the first morning of our trip to San Diego and fell in love so hard we came back two more times! The acai bowl is the perfect size, right amount of sweetness, and the way the fruit is diced on top!! Oh my!! Make sure you get either the peanut butter or almond butter on top! The quality is top notch, local fruit, organic acai, homemade nut butter, bee pollen, amazing! Since we went back, I tried the acai bowl and the bowl with a mix of pitaya, coconut freeze, and acai, it's all good. I've been here twice already and both times was amazing. The workers are really nice. We got the wave bowl and acai bowl and I loved the wave bowl. It had papaya, coconut, and pineapple. It worked so well together. You have to add their house made peanut butter. Sososo good. Prepare for the long wait but good there's lots of shops nearby you can check out. read more

Amazing place. The taste of the açaí and pitaya bowl are out of this world! This is no store bought mix that is full of sugar and fillers! We bought one to share this morning but my boys ended up gobbling the whole thing so quickly all was left was a few licks of the bowl! We are going back for a second round after lunch! Saw this place go viral on TikTok, was expecting amazing açaí and it's basic. I paid $1.50 extra for peanut butter... that's avocado prices lol AND THEY DIDNT PUT ANY IN MY BOWL. Was too far to go back and ask for it. I waited 20 minutes for a small little bowl that isn't worth $14.50, it wasn't that busy either. Well I paid $16 but I didn't get the peanut butter. LOVED this place and the bowl I got!! I was craving an acai bowl all weekend and was looking for the best spot to get one and boy did I stumble upon it. The workers are so sweet, helpful, and they totally went above and beyond. As expected of a woman owned business! You order inside and there's also a fridge with juices. Once you order, you wait outside for your delicious smoothies and bowls. They have dining table tops outside and some benches for you to sit on if those are taken. I ordered The Wave and I'll literally be dreaming of this until the next time I come back. It had a scoop of coconut, spirulina, and pitaya!! All my faves! Juice Wave is truly an exceptional choice for acai bowls and I fully understand why this is a local favorite. The owner is super nice and friendly. The acai bowl is beyond massive and the fruits are incredibly fresh and seasonal. I love that the fruit is chopped up into tinier pieces so it mixes so well with everything. Was visiting San Diego for the weekend so of course I had to grab an acai bowl to enjoy on the beach! Juice Wave has the perfect location because they are just one street down from Mission Beach. I found out about this place because they have been blowing up on TikTok. First off, the ladies working are super nice and have great customer service! After I ordered my bowl, there was a 30 minute wait but they make sure you are aware of that before placing your order. I ordered The Wave bowl which has granola, strawberries, banana, pitaya, coconut, and spirulina topped with honey, seasonal topping (peaches today!), and hemp seeds. The 3 scoops on top were delicious! I was a little disappointed because I asked for no hemp seeds but my bowl had them anyways. On top of that the granola tasted a little on the burnt side. However, I did enjoy the rest of the bowl very much especially the peaches and honey drizzle! It is a little pricey but you get a big enough portion to share between two people so it's worth it! It's worth checking this place out if you are looking to get an acai bowl. read more

Came here on a Sunday around 1 pm and it was packed! Parking is definitely close to impossible on weekends so keep that in mind. The girls inside were super kind and really take great care in making beautiful acai bowls. They had green plums as the local fruit which were yummy! I personally like my acai base a bit more ...acai potent and icy? If that even makes sense, which I know is a personal taste and this base is more smoothie like (but still solid). It was honestly so good I enjoyed it very much and ate it all, the pineapple one had a subtle but still obvious flavor profile of the pineapple, the coconut one was a bit more subtle but it was so refreshing reminded me of when you drink coconut water and the pitaya was nice and sweet and tasted like a fresh pitaya it is my favorite fruit which is even better. They give a generous amount of fruit and granola so I do think you get what you paid for, I added cacao nibs which was 50¢ more and the amount they gave me was extremely generous if I was to say the amount it was equivalent to 3 tbsps which I love. The woman attending us was very nice as well and patient with what we wanted. You can tell it is home made which made the experience so much better. read more

Popular Acai bowl spot in MB! Street parking only & make sure to keep track of the time if you park in a timed spot because they are patrolling constantly. My friend & I came here on a Saturday morning right when they opened & there was already a long line. & it is a long wait too because they are making everything fresh. Customer service was friendly. The shop is only big enough for 1 or 2 people to order at a time & they do not have seating. Acai Bowl: Make sure to get their peanut butter because they make it in house. It's a small storefront so there's space for about one customer to enter and order at a time. There's two benches outside on the street to sit while you wait for the food but other than that, there isn't much space. We ordered the Vitamin Sea smoothie and it was great. Perfect consistency and tasted well balanced. The only downside was that for a 16oz smoothie, it was $10+ not including tip. Pretty hefty cost for a smoothie. Cute little spot on the main street; barely enough room for the single employee and two customers inside but there's such a homey and welcoming feel because of the space and the friendly customer service. The acai bowl was $12 and tasted excellent; the fruit is diced up nice and small which I appreciate. The granola is delicious and homemade. I appreciate the acai blend doesn't get soupy even after a stroll a little ways down to eat on the beach. Overall I'd come back, but not if I'm on a tight schedule. Parking can be tricky in this area. Service is fantastic. It's a small place you order and if you're lucky you can find an empty seat out front to enjoy. My friend and I just walked to the beach and ate by the ocean. I ordered an açaí bowl with peanut butter and extra granola and a beet juice (which had such amazing flavor). The granola has a deep toasted flavor and tasted very fresh. This was easily one of the best bowls I've had in San Diego! I love how small they cut the fruit so you get some in every bite. It's a great portion and very filling. It's about $15 for a bowl, but well worth the price. read more

Meet the Business Owner: Arleigh R.

Arleigh has been working in the food industry for over 20 years. After graduating from Colorado State University, she packed up and moved to San Diego for the grand opening of Snooze, an A.M. Eatery in Hillcrest. After two years, Chef Arleigh attended the New England Culinary Institute in Montpelier, Vermont. She then worked with James Beard Award Winning Chef, Michael Tusk at his three Michelin-Star Restaurant, Quince, as well as training to be the butcher for his sister restaurant, Cotogna. Attending every farmer's market in the Bay Area to pick up the fresh and local produce for both restaurants was one of her most cherished responsibilities. WWOOF (World Wide Opportunities for Organic Farms) was the best option for her to get her hands in the dirt. Farmer Leo's at Cardiff-by-the-Sea in Encinitas was the farm where she has cultivated her culinary skills and has become most passionate about utilizing ingredients from local farms and incorporating sustainable methods.

And she was like "no, I almost spilled mine all over too." This random patron encouraged us to ask for a new cup of coffee as a result (thanks, random patron!). However, the lid was still an issue - it would spill out of the cup all over the rim between the cup and the lid when I'd try to take a sip, so I took off the lid entirely, but then was stuck with dealing with spills while walking around - I had to move at a snail's pace to prevent spills altogether. This was easier to deal with random leakage around the entire cup every time I'd sip with the lid on. Ultimately It was just a lose-lose with the ill fitting lid situation. All this to say - Molly's Team, yall were fantastic just a month ago. What happened? I understand food and services in the beach area stuff are often expensive and rarely good, but you guys are *too* expensive for this poor of service and quality. Two stars because at least the folks there are generally nice.

After waiting long enough, I finally went up to an older gentleman working there (I'm assuming the owner) and politely explained that I had been waiting a very long time and was confused why people ordering after me were getting their food first. Instead of apologizing or even acknowledging the mistake, he was rude, dismissive, and acted like I was inconveniencing him for asking about an order that should have been ready ages ago. Then, after another 10 minutes, my bowls were finally ready. In total, I waited about 35 minutes after checking in for pickup. To top it all off, the older gentleman practically shoved the bowls at me without so much as a "sorry for the wait." Look, delays happen. Mistakes happen. What bothered me was the complete lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer service. If you're running behind, just be honest about it. Don't tell someone 10 minutes when it's really going to be over half an hour. The açaí is good, but not nearly good enough to make up for being treated like an annoyance. There are plenty of other places in San Diego serving great bowls without the attitude.
