Their menu has a little bit of everything. Service was friendly and fast. My husband was blown away by the biscuits and gravy. He said his breakfast was exactly what he wanted this weekend. Morgan's Country Kitchen will definitely be on our breakfast rotation while we're in town. Thanks to the Sunday morning crew for our happy and full bellies!

The restaurant is small and parking is limited. Staff was very friendly, They serve breakfast here all day. My husband had one of their breakfast specials, while I had something from the lunch side of their menu. He got their "Georgia Breakfast". It had two biscuits with sausage and cheese topped with sausage gravy along with two over easy eggs and grits. He said the biscuits were wonderful -- nice and soft inside. We were surprised to learn they were not house made, but from a food service company, Cheney Brothers. I got their crispy chicken club sandwich. The all white meat chicken was breaded and fried. It was very good. Came with a few strips of bacon, a large slice of red tomato, and a lettuce leaf. The bacon could have been a tad more well done. And the bun -- called a Kaiser roll on the menu -- was more like a hamburger bun. I didn't eat the bread. Got potato salad as my side. It was eggy and slightly sweet from the pickle relish. Good, but not my favorite. I had to get a biscuit to go -- just to try one -- and ate it in the car with the provided butter as my "dessert". Glad we got to try this place. Definitely a good option for breakfast. Although their pot roast special of the day looked appealing, too .

We looked at their lunch menu but nothing really appealed. There was only one gal eating in -- having a sandwich and later two ladies vane for drinks and shared a sandwich. My husband had the Monday meatloaf. He liked it enough to take half home. It came with mashed potatoes and nothing else. I got an order of chicken wings Korean bbq style. I asked if they could do all flats. When they arrived, they weren't. The wings were good. I asked about getting carrots and celery and they gave me a few pieces of each. Prices are a little high. I'm assuming that's why the place was empty at lunchtime. I'm glad we came. Now we know.

The meal came with 2 sides and choice of the kind of chicken. The picture attached is of the white meat only. There was so much chicken! My kids love their carrots. I also added on 2 more sides, in the larger size, which was only slightly more than the smaller size. I like their mac n cheese, which is not heavy on the cheese and has some bacon crumbles in it (I think?!), but my kids did not. I was not a fan of the coleslaw, but glad I tried it. The mashed potatoes, which have skins on and horseradish, were ok. Picking up the meal was a breeze, with a phone notification, and a kind person at the counter found my items. This is special, he is only able to eat after receiving steroids with the chemo dose which allows his tumors to open up enough to get solid food past the obstructions. We sat at the bar as we have done a couple of times with his previous infusions. He asked for a chicken breast since he has cancer and is not able to eat much. Explained that he's had the kids portion previously. The bartender rudely replied, "we don't have a chicken breast on the kids menu" and proceeded to curtly list the items on the kids menu insinuating that my husband is a liar and there is no other option aside from "the entree". As a nurse of 33 years I am sickened and appalled that my clearly sick husband would be treated this way by anyone. Have a great day yourself Charlie. I won't be back EVER, especially after my husband's inevitable and impending death. Anyone who has a loved one that is ill and trying to live with their illness should never step foot in this place.
