It looks stuffed, but honestly, it wasn't. I thought it was tasty but it lacked in protein. You get a big tortilla wrap stuffed with one scoop of the meats and everything else . Came with a side of white and red sauce, which I thought was pretty good as well.

First time trying this spot and it was just as delicious as their Harrison location! Ordered the chicken pita, with fries, a side of plantain, and a classic bottle of Coca-Cola. Wasn't able to eat it right away and it was still so "juicy" and yummy! Drizzled the white sauce on top...omg! The fries and plantain was good too! Food was very satisfying! The employees there were nice and greeted when you entered. Inside was also clean to dine in.

I was in the area and had a craving for a gyro so I search for places in the area and found juicy. It is in a small shopping center with plenty of parking. They are following mask requirements and socially distanced seating. There was a table outside to eat as well. If you aren't familiar with the difference between platters, wraps, pita, etc. check out the menu ahead of time. The cashier greeted us immediately and was very patient as we made our decision and easily answered all of our questions. I went with the Gyro pita and my daughter got the chicken pita with french fries. Our order was completed quickly and I was excited to get home to eat. Everything was super yummy, the meat was moist and well seasoned and beware that the hot sauce is really really hot AF. They want you so don't say you haven't warned. When I'm in the area again I will definitely be back!

Made a return trip for lunch on this Good Friday at Juicy! located at a shopping mall in Hackensack. The food is healthy with a Mediterranean genuinely flavor. The menu is mix and match: choose a base (platter, salad, pita, or wrap), a protein (or falafel ), add toppings, then add sides and sauce. I ordered the falafel platter which contained generous portion of falafel (deep fried balls or fritters made from ground chickpeas), sautéed onions, whole sliced pita bread, lettuce, and rice. Complimentary sauces of tahini and hot sauce were given to accompany the meal. The food is tasty and flavorful. The portion size is great and the employees are friendly. As a Yelper Elite, the establishment offers a complimentary drink. Definitely will be returning as this is now my favorite Halal spot.

This was my 1st visit to Juicy Platters but I have been to similar restaurants which were okay but not especially note worthy. I totally enjoyed my meal especially the spice level. I had the mixed platter adding tomatoes and spicy chick peas for a small additional charge. We shared a side order of fries and each had a fountain drink. We both added a healthy dose of white sauce to our meals and dug in. It was very filling and flavorful. I would have liked more drink options

After visiting a Juicy location for an Elite event last winter I decided to try the one in Hackensack last night as I was headed out to the breweries. A little food before eating makes for a safer night. This location is a little larger but didn't seem to have organized the counter as well. They didn't carry Bubly flavored seltzer water as the other location did, however I decided to just have a bottle of water. I ordered a pita with chicken and beef with all the fixins with a side of falafel bites. My wife ordered the plate with brown rice, a greens blast and falafel. This was one great meal. The food was absolutely delicious. The greens in my wife's plate were so perfectly done they mixed really well with the rice and the falafel. The beef and chicken in the pita was spicy and oh so good! The best part of this place are the prices, great freshly made food for a fair price. This place gives new meaning to fast food, it is truly outstanding. I only wish they would open a location closer to my home. After enjoying a good meal I was ready for the brewery.

It's like chipotle for Mediterranean food. You pick if you want a pita or a bowl which means your topping over rice. If you choose rice it's the basami(?) rice and the. You can pick beef or chicken or both and add tomatoes, lettuce, white sauce that is tangy, big olives... if you choose the pita is the same but They put its on top of a pita. The pita is what I had an it was messy. Good thing I ate it inside because i used a fork. If I would of tried to eat it like a burrito we would of had issues! Decent food. Finally got around to trying this place after hearing good things and it did not disappoint. Big bowl of food, tender meats, delicious white sauce...it rates up there with my favorite NYC halal cart. Will have to put it into my rotation. Ordered/paid online while I was in stop and shop for 10 minutes and it was ready for pickup when I was done!

Solid NYC style Halal platters that offer good value, some interesting add-ons, and in a very clean location with ample parking and seating. I work 2 blocks away from the Original Halal Guys in midtown manhattan and I think the food here is better. Only negative is the "Juicy AF" marketing slogan. Explaining it to my kids was not pleasant for me. read more

This is quite a good establishment. The food tastes good and the seasoning is about right. The food can be a bit dry from time to time. I do enjoy that I can control the white and hot sauce which are easily accessible from the mini fridge. My biggest issue here is that the soda ALWAYS tastes funny. I personally think that the machine they have there now either needs to be better cleaned or replaced. The soda(s) all have that "old refrigerator" taste. I really like this place but I cannot return if what I am drinking ruins the entire meal. Guys, PLEASE get this fixed ASAP!!! read more

Worst service ever. I wouldn't even call what I had "service". I walked in November 22nd around 4:30pm and waited about 5 minutes to be completely ignored. The person behind the counter made eye contact with me about 4 times, yet didn't once ask me for my order. She was clearly too busy sipping soda and just standing there to help a customer. My office is close to South Paterson which has tons of middle eastern restaurants. I enjoy the food. The grilled meats and the hummus, salad and mint tea. Oh and the garlic paste. Can't forget that. I really wanted to like this place. Really. I ordered the mix platter with chicken and lamb. The rice was clumpy and the meat lacked flavor. Perhaps I'm biased because I'm used to chicken and rice platters from 53rd and 6th. In my opinion, Addy's BBQ in Teaneck is 100x better. Juicy Platters is better than the brick and mortar Halal Guy establishments without a doubt. The first couple of times I went here, I wasn't really sure how I felt about it because I was so used to the Halal guys carts on 53rd and 6th. This place has really grown on me and I probably prefer it over Halal Guys now. The mixed platter is delicious and you can add many different toppings to it as well. What really puts this place over the top for me are the buffalo wings. They have rewards cards and you're sure to get a free platter soon if you try this place out because you'll keep coming back. read more

The staff were nice and friendly but the mixed platter and the sauces were kind of off. The rice was a little too soggy for me and the white sauce tasted more like raunch salad dressing. The hot sauce was also that really hot at all. Kind of disappointed but I'm comparing this to my favorite halal food cart the halal guys. read more

Our food didn't come out quite right. However, Jeff more than made it up to us. He refunded the cost of the food AND made the order for us again to take as a to-go order. He explained why the problem had occurred with our initial order and did a great job with remedying the situation. Really surprised to see how popular this place is ! Came in and was nervous to try this type of food out. However, I was glad to see I had options. I ordered a wrap with their yummy beef and white sauce which was delicious, portion sizes are more than I could handle, & thanks to yelp I got a free soft drink. Amazing! definitely get their wings, get a ton of wings! The honey mustard are my favorite and they are big and meaty so well worth the money. Personally, i think the chicken is a little chewy so I would always order just the gyro meat in a platter, and when I'm in a rush in a wrap. Both are phenomenal. Don't forget to get the punch card, it's so rewarding getting the free platter! read more

I saw some people comparing this to Halal Guys in New York and I can tell you it is absolutely nowhere near not even comparable. It tastes like any other food cart in New York that you get chicken and rice from for lunch. Tastes a lot like curry, didn't really like it. Established in 2011.

Juicy Platters started back in 2011 in a small takeout only shack on Broadway in Fair Lawn, NJ. Our guests used to sit on the sidewalk floor and eat their food because, so we started looking for a bigger store and found one a block down. Today we have grown to our second location with an even bigger footprint. Our menu is inspired by the nutrition science world where your dish should look as colorful as a box of crayons. The more color in your dish, to more nutrients you ingest. Therefore, we give you the option to "Add Some Color"

Well they accomplished the same success on a grander scale. We held my mother's repast at Mado for 70 people and they did a phenomenal job and they were reasonable. The offered several courses, appetizers and great shepherds salad, not mention the main kebab course. If you are looking to do a large gathering I highly recommend Mado. My only criticism would be I would have preferred the room to be private, no other customers.

The incredible flavors left me wanting to have a meal here again, and the famous white cream sauce is a must-try! The ambiance of the restaurant was perfect, with upbeat music that wasn't too loud, allowing for easy conversation. It's a great spot to relax and enjoy your meal. What truly stood out was the service. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring my first visit was nothing short of perfect. Juicy Platters is pretty good overall. The chicken wings are awesome with mild sauce they're always cooked just right and taste great. But when it comes to their chicken and meat gyro mix, it's not the best or maybe I caught them at a bad time . Sometimes it tastes like it's not that fresh and can be kinda dry . Also, the prices are a bit high for what you get. It's not a bad spot, but if they made the gyro better and the prices were lower, I'd definitely give them five stars. For now, it's a solid three stars from me. They have many parking spots available and the store is clean with a refillable soda machine in the dining room and the staff are nice and attentive. read more

This, just like their other location is very good. You cannot go wrong with either location. This is the best halal "quick serve" food in the area. Like others have said, this location is a bit bigger so you may want to come here to avoid any issue with finding a table on a busy day. read more
