Pizza is good. We tried 4 of them all together. However their mixed drinks specials were not good. We tried the mai tai, which was really a rum sunrise...not sure why there was grenadine in it...and the blood orange mojito was not good at all. As an actual rating, I'd give this place 3.5. Decent pizza for the area. I'm giving this rating because I think the pizza was just okay. We got a Large New York Pizza for $30. I thought it was a bit pricy and I get it, supplies are hard to get up the mountains. The pie did come out HUGE though, so there's that. The large gave us about 8 big slices. They definitely load on the toppings but it seemed like it was just dumped in the middle of the pizza and there was barely any ricotta on there as I was hoping. I was hoping for bigger dollops rather than little squiggles here and there. Overall my family enjoyed it but I was expecting a bit better considering the ratings. read more

We went to the window and ordered a large pepperoni, pineapple and sausage pizza. The total was $39... for a pizza! I tipped the young lady at the window $4 (so now it's a $43 pizza) and said "we're parked right here in front." Like literally 5 ft from the window. There was no one else around. After about 1/2 hour, I went to the window and asked if my pizza was ready. "Oh yeah... it's been done. I'll get it for you." What on earth did I give you $4 for? You seriously couldn't stick an arm out and wave and tell me my pizza was ready? Ugh... The only saving grace is that the pizza was tasty. IDK if it was $43 tasty, but it was good. During this year's fishing opener at June Lake Loop, we wound up staying at the Heidelberg Inn right across the way from June pie. I had noticed this place, however never ate there. My friends and I were very hungry one night. We were actually thinking about heading over to the Tiger Bar, but we had a last-minute change of heart. June Pie was technically closed at the moment, however the owner, Sergio, made a huge exception for us. They didn't have to cater to us, although they did. We were starving and so glad! Sergio and his staff provided us with great conversation and customer service! They're Pizza was excellent! Two large pizzas were large enough to pretty much feed an army. We ordered the supreme with everything on it, and the kids ordered pepperoni and extra cheese. It was very tasty and actually exceeded our expectations. I plan to drive up to June Lake Loop in the summer and will definitely be going back to June Pie for some good grub! Thank you guys! read more

Literally the best gluten free pizza I've had in forever! Drool! It didn't taste like it was premade or sitting in a freezer for three weeks. I don't like sausage but was feelin hungry after a day climbing up a canyon in snow, so I had them add it to the pizza. It only comes in small but is a great value for what you get. The sausage was SO good! My partner got a regular gluten (ha) pizza with pepperoni. He loved the big slices. The crust was thin and crunchy. Yum! We also ordered the Cesar salad which was oddly delicious. Instead of basic, grated cheese, it had shaved pecorino Romano. Swoon! There was only one gal working the window and one person cooking, so the pickup was a little delayed but totally understandable. Despite being slammed, the staff were super nice and warm. 10/10! read more

We ended up here because the local brewery doesn't accept dogs (even on the patio - ???). The service was friendly and they even brought some pepperoni to spoil our pups. A great local spot. Ordered the BBQ pizza- super delicious and crust was perfectly prepared for a thin crust. Not to crunchy- yet not soggy at all! The margaritas were excellent as well. We went in the 4th of July weekend because Mammoth Lakes was crazy busy- too many people. Glad we drive the extra miles to enjoy. Also, they are dog-friendly and the patio has lots of shade. We will definitely return. Service was great as well...I asked for a side of mushrooms and the waiter said the kitchen was slammed and he could not ask them to do it although said if the kitchen can accommodate after the lunch crowd and we were there he would ask. We had a great lunch on the back patio Order at the front window and pick up your pie. A 12 inch served two to three. Lite crust cooked to perfection . We did a margarita pizza and added mushrooms and Artichoke to the mix about 17.50 No view of the lake but take it to go and eat near the lake. read more

Wonderful New York style pizza with a perfect crust and loaded with toppings! It was really surprising to find quality pizza in a small lakeside resort town, but June pie really sets the bar high! The service was very quick and friendly and the pizza is extremely large and filling- a medium would be more than sufficient even for two hungry people :). Take out is through a window that faces the small main drag - instead of eating in or near the restaurant, I'd recommend driving 8 minutes to Silver Lake, which is shaded in the evenings but offers great mountain views across the water. read more

My family of 4 stopped by here after a long drive. We walked up to the window right off the road. We were told that was for pickup only. We were happily surprised when the nice gentleman came out of the shop to walk us toward the sit down restaurant entrance. The service was friendly and laid back- perfect for a pizza place. We ordered the cheese pizza and the veggie pizza along with some cocktails. The cocktails were deliciously made. As for the pizzas, they were perfectly seasoned and cooked. We finished both! Best pizza at June Lake and compares well with other pizza places all around. June Pie itself is takeout only although there are a couple of tables outside if weather permits. You can however order June Pie pizza downstairs if the tap room (T-bar) is open. That makes it a very enjoyable experience and combined I'd offer a higher rating. Since June Pie is walk up take out service isn't a big deal but they're friendly enough at the window. read more

June Pie is well rated on the average here on Yelp. There was no shortage of people waiting outside for their pizza on the many times that we drive by during our stay in town. So I have to say I was less than impressed with the pizza. New York style, yes, I think so. Or at least it fits what my mind says is New York style. I ordered the Margherita. I'm stealing this line from my wife and she's right: you can always judge a pizza place by their Margherita. It should be a simple but incredibly flavorful pizza. In the case of June Pie, the pizza was very meh...forgettable. One of my kids ate half of a slice and put the rest back in the box saying that he didn't want any more. I was hungry, so I cleaned up. I was in June lake, like everyone else, out for a few days to fish. June pie is in downtown, cAnt miss it. Beautiful little city with shops all over; my buddy and I were driving through and this caught our eye. I called in an order at noon, right when they opened up. Large just pepperoni pizza. The nice young lady said about 20 min. Right on time and the pizza was nice and hot. We took the pizza on our fishing boat and what a treat. The scenery and the fresh mountainous air and a warm huge thin slice of NY style pizza. It was everything everyone said it was and more. I'm not even the biggest pizza fan in general but this slice hit the spot. I would for sure recommend everyone who's in the area to check this place out. 100% worth it read more
