Although we've been out of the workforce for years, we're usually up at 6:30 AM - 7 AM and eating breakfast at home. However, during ou,r stay at The Palazzo at The Venetian Resort, we'd wake at 10 AM since most of the restaurants that we wanted to eat at, off-Strip, didn't open until 11 AM. On a brisk morning, when we woke earlier than 10 AM, we decided to forego eating within our hotel and walked to Resorts World, where we found the famous Junior's Cheesecake Restaurant. I was excited to eat at this iconic American comfort food restaurant since we had been eating other ethnic cuisines. There was a relatively long line of other hungry customers. Still, my husband stopped at the hostess desk to inquire about the wait time while I stepped into the restaurant to ogle the various New York-style cheesecakes since my stomach was rumbling. We stood in line for no longer than 15 minutes and were seated in the dining room facing the casino. Within a minute of being placed, a server, who was bustling her through other tables, acknowledged and informed us she'd be with us as soon as she delivered the meals she had in hand. She returned to our table with a smiling and cheerful personality and introduced herself as Leslie. While standing in line, we decided what we wanted to eat for breakfast and immediately placed our orders with Leslie. She brought us our hot and flavorful cups of coffee ($4.25 EA), iced water, and place settings after inputting our breakfast order into the POS menu system. The restaurant was filled, and we felt lucky to have gotten our food orders in before the other large groups. Our food came out quickly, and Leslie delivered our meals hot and fresh. FOOD: - Breakfast Platter: My husband opted for this platter, which consisted of two eggs (any style), a choice of home fries, grits, or sliced tomato, and a choice of toast. He selected to have sunny-side-up eggs, grits, an English muffin, and bacon. The grits were plain but complemented the eggs and bacon. However, the English muffin was hard, like a hockey puck. We joked about chipping a tooth, so he didn't want to take the chance and continue his bite. $16.95 + $3.00 (breakfast meat) -French Toast: I craved French toast and ordered it with pork sausage. I was excited that the French toast came with an apple compote. I liked the crunchiness of the cornflake-crusted French toast and soft custardy bread interior. The spicy apple compote complemented four juicy, tasty, and well-griddled pork sausages. Leslie did bring syrup to pour over the French toast, but I didn't use it. $15.95 + $3.00 (breakfast meat) We had considered ordering a slice of cheesecake to share, but we were too full and didn't want to increase our caffeinated energy with a sugar rush. Our total bill plus Nevada State Tax came up to $51.37, which is what we expect when eating at resorts. My husband was disappointed with his breakfast because of the hard English muffin and tasteless grits. As for me, I liked what I ordered and shared a slice of French toast and two sausages with him since I could see he wasn't enjoying his meal. The quantity of food was more than ample but missing flavor. Leslie's efficient and friendly service was exceptional for the crowded workstation she covered. If we return, we'd go back for a slice of cheesecake but not a meal. 3.6 stars for food & service read more

Located inside Resorts World , this place would be considered the Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner / Dessert option for the property that's not too pricey, but not food court style. Visited for Breakfast on New Years Day morning, first meal in the New Year, and the wait wasn't more than 10 minutes. Brightly lit with orange and white design, the space felt comfortable. Bottled Water, Fiji, and Breakfast plate with 2 scrambled eggs with cheese, all bacon crispy, potatoes and english muffin. Those eggs were amazing! I ate every bite of those eggs. Potatoes were tasty and bacon had nice flavor. The english muffin fell short, so I left that. I think they toast it on the grill, which just doesn't give you the crispy edges you want. Peach Bellini was very tasty and served with a single strawberry slice. Service was friendly and engaging. Overall, this was a great start to the Day! read more

Debated between 2 or 3 stars. Settled on 3 since the food was at least somewhat tasty. We love the Junior's brand from NY so we decided to stop in on a Monday afternoon around 1pm. Our party of 6 got seated right away. Just like the gambling floor, winning, but not for long. Restaurant was about 70% full. Plenty of staff working, but did not see any leadership. The irony was all staff was moving and appeared to be bustling back and forth, but it didn't seem like much was getting done, if that makes sense. Think of cars stuck in a European roundabout... but no one exits. Water arrived one*at*a*time. One of our party ordered a refreshing coca~cola, which must have come from the soda cellar for how long it took. The drink was still carbonated, so hey, another brief win. We knew he was doomed when he asked for a refill, which arrived just in time for the end of the meal. 4/6 ordered the lunch special, half soup, half sandwich for $19.95 (would have rather spent that at the McDonald's down the street). Also ordered the Mac and cheese (watery), and a side of mashed potatoes (buttery and probably the best thing we tasted next to the soups). Matzo ball and French onion soup did not disappoint. Chicken salad was tasty. Likely because there's a Rosen family recipe you just don't deviate from. Half sandwiches were served on standard slider or dinner roll, whichever are smaller to you. Also stale. We expected one of those big sandwiches cut diagonally in half at least. I've had bigger portions for an in-flight meal across the trans-Atlantic. Soups looked scrumptious when they arrived, and we ate with our eyes until we finally had to ask for spoons. Yep, you guessed it, they had to have the Armorer weld it from beskar, so just like our soups, we all lost steam by the time the utensil reinforcements arrived. We saw our server Kitty girl at the start and once more at the end. What a happy and cheerful lady until you ask about a possible discrepancy on the check. She was sure fierce about clearing the plates that she even asked "oh, did I take it too soon" as I pulled the soup bowl away from my face to savor the last few drops of my Ashkenazi Jewish delight. "No, no" I responded, relinquishing my plate to her, knowing if we lost her now, we might have to wait until dinner service to see her again. Paid the check and high tailed it out of there. Lessons were learned and we opted to ditch the glorious desserts we had hoped to order. Only Junior's in NY from now on! read more

I used to go to juniors on Westwood Boulevard with writers and producers and create shows and make deals. It was the spot to meet and be creative.. This is not that juniors maybe someone just bought the name and opened this restaurant. Service was slow, food was just OK and the vibe was not there. If are jonesing for New York cheesecake, look no further than Juniors. Their cheesecake comes straight from NYC. The ambiance is that of an American diner similar to that of their flagship in NYC playing classic rock music. The service was excellent from our server Blake who checked in frequently and even brought me a new fork for my entree without me even asking. I also overheard him giving recommendations to tourists at a table near by looking for activities to do. The restaurant was clean and orderly. I got the carrot cheesecake, which was creamy and did taste like carrot cake. The slice was huge for the price and is actually a bit less than it is in NYC. I also got the loaded potato pancakes, which were a great salty complement to my cheesecake. Bacon was crispy but the potato pancake while flavorful was a bit over fried which over powered the flavor on the edges. Come for cheesecake! read more

We stayed in the hotel and ate here as we wanted a legit breakfast and this was the place. It was pretty busy but they turn tables very fast by making sure the service is fast. Our server, I don't remember her name, was great. She was quick and made sure we had everything we needed. We went during Mother's Day weekend so they had a breakfast special which was a lobster omelette. I ordered it and it was fine. Like, nothing I'd order again. And that probably was my fault because I should have just ordered something like pancakes or a regular omelet. Anyway. Our server, Diana M, was PHENOMENAL! She came by our table 3x to refill our water (w/o us needing to ask). Without us asking, she brought extra plates so we could split our food. Went for Friday night Prime Rib special ($45 incl salad and 'famous' cheesecake. This was probably the worst prime rib I ever had. It tasted very bland and actually had a somewhat weird flavor. I ate maybe 5 bites and told the waiter. He said it was the same they serve at the Wynn. The cheesecake was nothing to write home about either. My wife had the broiled salmon which was overcooked and dry. When we got the check they had only charged me for a la carte salad and cheesecake and not the prime rib special which I appreciated.' I have to say that I won't come back here. I'm a Vegas local and come here frequently. Me and my friends from out of town came to get a to go dessert order tonight, 45 minutes before closing and the host at the front, who had black hair was very rude. She snapped and pointed to Randy's donuts and said, "go get dessert over there, we're closed for the night." Remember, it's all about professional customer service, Juniors has been great, but after tonight I'll have to pass going forward. I was staying at Conrad I came in a bit late and ordered to go then I end up finding a seat at the bar. I did not eat all day but somehow Frankie and Johny understood why I was not saying much I just wanted to eat. Frankie and Johny are incredibly talented and take care of their clients like if the business is their own.
